I know there was a thread where ladies tracked their rhr about a year ago and wanted to start it back up again as i’m tracking my resting heart rate! at about 7dpo today and it’s been rising for me! anyone else tracking rhr for bfp?

@Annapolis35 ooh hope you didn’t have to rush too much!
It always sucks to see it dipping, i’m sorry 💖 but you know what they always say, you’re never out till af arrives!

I stupidly took another test and bfn, i’m not sure why my chart is so high. i did expect that i might be positive by now but i fear it may dip soon. been having on and off cramps all day and feeling icky 🥲

Hi @Ashmax it was just posted slightly above, just the Fitbit app and the graphs they have on there. Good luck

Ashmax · 23/09/2022 16:47

Quick Q!

What app are you guys using to get your graphs?
I am Fitbit user and their apps aren't great!

I had a peak in daily resting HR with my last pregnancy. Not much just by 6bpm.

TTC again and so far 3 BPM up on the TWW.

littlelove23 · 23/09/2022 14:29

@allgoodthings84 Thanks. I have an Apple Watch and find the HR tracker graph a bit rubbish!

allgoodthings84 · 23/09/2022 13:22

@winterspinach thats definitely promising as the drop could have been an implantation dip maybe

@Annapolis35 fingers crossed yours still goes back up. I hate AF ☹️

@littlelove23 it’s just our Fitbit app so our Fitbit’s do the tracking and the info goes onto the app automatically

littlelove23 · 23/09/2022 13:13

Hi all. Sorry to intrude but can I ask what app you are using to plot your heart rate?

Annapolis35 · 23/09/2022 08:52

@winterspinach That is so promising!! Hoping for the best for you. Yesterday my rhr increased during the day to 72 and I felt quite positive but this morning it has dropped to 69 and I am feeling very much like my period is coming, got really bad cramps. I also woke up very very late for work and slept through my alarm! Eek.

@ChickinMarango thanks so much for sharing and congrats!!!

@Annapolis35 ooh i’m sorry you’re cramping, they’re the worst. unless of course you’re cramping for another reason! my friend said she got the worst af like cramps when she found out she was preggo 🤞🏽🤞🏽

so you know how my rhr dipped yesterday at 10dpo to 74? it’s now back up again to 77 at 11dpo
i did try testing at night and i think i tricked myself into seeing a shadow but it was pretty much a BFN.
only symptom today morning os my stomach is churning so much!

@Annapolis35 the tests are done on day 3/4 of your cycle (I had mine cancelled as it was meant to be on the queens funeral day so will be mid October time now on next cycle) and then different bloods day 21 of your cycle (or 7 days after ovulation) it’s to check your hormone levels before and after ovulation. The 21 day includes progesterone and checks whether you ovulate properly

ChickinMarango · 22/09/2022 15:59

Argh the FRER didn’t post!

ChickinMarango · 22/09/2022 15:58

I’m forever sharing on TTC boards but this was my BFP on a cheapie one step test. Was 10miu. You can see on the FRER (Same urine) the line is much stronger as 6.25miu! I wasn’t getting the expensive ones out until I thought there was hope though 😂

Annapolis35 · 22/09/2022 14:25

@allgoodthings84 Ah I see well it’s good to rule things out. Do they just do routine blood tests and sperm analysis, or tests on specific days of cycle? I am just wondering as I’ll speak to my gp next week. I do quite a bit of exercise as it keeps me sane but I am thinking I’ll reduce it next month, just keep it to 3 or 4 days a week and see if that makes a difference. I managed to get pregnant before doing exercise but there’s no harm trying to slow it down a bit.

@ChickinMarango congratulations and that gives us all hope!

@winterspinach Sorry for the negative test, do you think you’ll test again now or just wait it out? I’ve started getting cramps so know AF is on the way unless there’s some miracle going on haha

ChickinMarango · 22/09/2022 12:47

So I haven’t RTF thoroughly but wanted to share mine. My RHT would go to 78 then plummet two/three days before period.

I got my BFP on 16th April, 11 days after ovulating. You can see a slight dip the day before and I was sure I was out but then it went higher and higher! I took off the watch 4 weeks later as it kept declining and I’d read it caused a miscarriage. It didn’t and she’s now 9 months :)

allgoodthings84 · 22/09/2022 12:36

@Annapolis35 I am on cycle 5 now. I’m 37 and because I spot a few days before AF they have agreed to the tests early. I have a child already so the GP didn’t sound like she was taking me very seriously just kept saying I’ve had a child so likely fine. My child is 7 and a lot can change in that time. My partner has to have a sperm analysis too as he’s not had children so she’s automatically thinking it’s him. He’s only 32 and not tried to have kids until now and I’m 37 so if anything I think it’s more likely to be me but who knows. I know we have only done 4 cycles so might not be anything wrong

allgoodthings84 · 22/09/2022 12:32

@winterspinach fingers crossed for you it’s just too early for a normal test. If the bloods don’t come up with anything who knows. I’m only having bloods already (I’m on cycle 5 now) because I spot 3 days before AF and it worries me

winterspinach · 22/09/2022 11:46

Bfn this morning :(
they weren’t frer so not sure if anything would have shown up on an actual frer but i’ll probably try testing again tomorrow.

hope your bloods go well @allgoodthings84 and Isorry to hear that this might be a chemical. hopefully you’re very fertile for the next cycle!

Annapolis35 · 22/09/2022 10:39

@allgoodthings84 how long have you been trying for? We are nearly at the sixth month mark now past the miscarriage and I’m 35 so will call the gp to get things rolling if no luck next month

allgoodthings84 · 22/09/2022 09:10

@Annapolis35 it would explain all the weird things. Like you say it couldn’t be a viable pregnancy so it’s not the worst thing and would at least mean I’m still fertile. I’m really sorry your periods are much worse since your miscarriage. They are horrible at the best of times ☹️. I definitely think resting would be good for you and your body. I’ve got bloods booked for day 21 to check my hormone levels etc anyway (booked before). It won’t be quite day 21 as my cycles aren’t 28 days and I may need to adjust the date as yet but hopefully get some answers

Annapolis35 · 22/09/2022 08:58

@allgoodthings84 yes I think the key is just if it doesn’t drop down when AF is due.

I did wonder whether you had a CP too and I’m the same as you, I’d rather not know. I see it as natures way and could never have become a baby so it seems better not to know and to avoid that heartache. I am sorry that you might have had one though and that you had a heavy bleed.

My periods have been much heavier and last a full 7 days since the miscarriage, it’s horrible. They used to last about 4 days. I think I’ve been pushing through during the periods and being too active but I think this month I’m gonna try and rest as much as possible (might be a sign I’m trying to do too much!). I’ve heard people are more fertile after CPs so it could be a good sign.

allgoodthings84 · 22/09/2022 08:40

@Annapolis35 I think the clue is if it goes up at AF due date rather than how much it jumps then. I’m sorry for your miscarriage.

I’m wondering if I actually had a CP and that’s why it’s taking time for my RHR to drop. I’m CD7 now and it’s still above pre ovulation levels. Still same as yesterday. I did my usual OPK last night and it was 0.25 which is high for me at that stage and I had the heaviest bleed that I’ve ever had. I usually start spotting CD10 (2 days before AF) without fail but I started spotting CD8 so maybe implantation. I’ll never know and prefer not to but it could explain it.

Annapolis35 · 22/09/2022 08:29

@allgoodthings84 yeah the heart rate is always the biggest give away to me. Thinking back on it, when I did get pregnant in February it stayed elevated but it wasn’t crazy high levels until I got my bfp, it just went up gradually and for five days after ovulation it didn’t really go up, I’ve marked it up below - the line is when I got the bfp. Also April is when I was miscarrying, no wonder I felt bad

@allgoodthings84 @Annapolis35
thanks so much ladies, it is really lovely to have such support. It’s same for me, my DH does really want one and is supportive but a woman really understand what another is going through with it all, it’s a totally different experience full of high and many lows!

I wish I had your resistance @Annapolis35 , i see a test and i break it open 😂 no self control! even told myself i wouldn’t test once this cycle.
Hopefully af doesn’t show her face for us 🤞🏽🤞🏽💖

allgoodthings84 · 22/09/2022 08:14

@Annapolis35 I’m the same. I don’t early test either so I haven’t taken one yet. The RHR usually gives it away so I don’t need to see the bfn too.

this page is great as like you say our OH’s want a baby but it’s not the same for them

Annapolis35 · 22/09/2022 07:55

Thanks @allgoodthings84

I’m due on Saturday and will only test if I’m late, I am not robust enough to see blank tests! Thank you so much ❤️❤️ It really does help to have this group of supportive ladies, my husband is great but don’t think he feels it in the same way though he really does want a baby a lot.

allgoodthings84 · 22/09/2022 07:38

I hope it doesn’t drop anymore for either of you and starts to rise again
