I know there was a thread where ladies tracked their rhr about a year ago and wanted to start it back up again as i’m tracking my resting heart rate! at about 7dpo today and it’s been rising for me! anyone else tracking rhr for bfp?

@Annapolis35 it’s the only time I’ve ever had a drop after ovulation. To be honest I had a meltdown to my partner about how I don’t think I even ovulate properly then my bloods confirmed I had progesterone levels of 51.5 on 6dpo so knew I had definitely ovulated then 😂. I went a bit crazy worrying. I can’t talk as as I obsessed over my RHR after ovulation

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 08:06

Congratulations @allgoodthings84!! Wonderful news. and thanks for the heads, it reassures me and I will stop obsessing over as you are right. Also reassuring re the drop after ovulation

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 07:41

Ladies I wouldn’t put too much into RHR. I did and was obsessed but turns out it didn’t show me much! I just got my bfp’s (not a frer yet) and my RHR was all over and actually dropped after ovulation! I had bloods on 6dpo this month and I very good results so I know I ovulated when I expected. I have attached my readings and my HRV readings too. I did swap watches on 1dpo so may have skewed it a bit but you can still see. When I’m awake my readings are really high even if I’m just sitting doing nothing and it just drops right down when asleep. Yesterday it was 112bpm just walking down the stairs! I hope this helps as I was obsessing way too much.

I’m 3dpo now and my rhr has gone down since ovulation. It’s bizarre! I know it’s too early to really gauge anything from it though. Hope you’re all doing well

It only takes the one sperm @winterspinach so you never know! Ahhh that’s good about the omega 3, I hated having long 32/33 day cycles as it just seemed to drag so much. I’ll definitely keep taking them.

winterspinach · 09/10/2022 23:42

@Annapolis35 aw i’m so happy to hear that! i think it’s for sure the omega 3 tablets because that’s what i’ve changed in my supplements for two months and my cycles are coming to 28 days now!
im glad we’re entering the tww together!
since we didn’t dtd as much i’m not so sure we have much of a chance this cycle but i’ll still be monitoring it all! lots of hope for you though :)

let’s get these rhr’s up and up!!

Annapolis35 · 09/10/2022 19:35

@winterspinach we are both entering the 2ww at more or less the same time! I think the omega 3 has helped as my ovulation has come forward, could be less exercising too. Whatever has done it I’m thankful to have a shorter cycle!! We’ve dtd quite a bit this cycle so I can be safe to say we are doing everything we can and can rest easy. Will probably tomorrow too.

It’s good to distract yourself from ttc, we’ve been really busy and going out a lot so I feel good that not been entirely focused around it this month. My rhr always rises too after ovulation, it’s a clear sign!

winterspinach · 09/10/2022 17:42

@Annapolis35 just read ur in the 2ww soon!!! yay, so much luck to you this cycle 🫶🏽🫶🏽

@Ashmax hope you had some good luck and got your bfp!

@TTC2022newbie sorry it didn’t happen this cycle, but you’re one step closer :)

@Annapolis35 hope you’re doing well! I’ve been trying to distract myself from ttc but i think i ovulated today 😂 i didn’t have any LH sticks but have had fertile signs the past two days but i usually get them for about 4-5 days until ovulation happens but today was a little dry and didn’t BD past two days but did today so fingers crossed. my rhr went to 73 today which was bizarre so i feel like that’s a sign it’s happened! it’s been at 68/69/70 for the past week ish

Sorry to hear @TTC2022newbie next month is another cycle and there is hope.

I have just got a peak OPK so guess ovulation is tomorrow, we’ve been dtd and I’ll be in the 2ww soon enough. I feel so positive about this cycle

TTC2022newbie · 08/10/2022 20:29

AF arrived today and RHR has steadily come down

@Annapolis35 I can't get a good screenshot of this month as October took over there.

Attached this weeks view. AF due Sunday.
And attached my HR the last few months.. had a pregnancy on the highlighted. One chemical, one MC and one this month's 🙈🤞.

Ps. I have a very low heart rate normally 52 would be my average 🤣.

What does your heart rate chart look like @Ashmax ? Fingers crossed lines get darker, but looking good so far.

allgoodthings84 · 03/10/2022 18:46

@Ashmax ooo I’ll have to keep an eye out. I’ve only got a couple nights data on it so far so can’t tell anything yet but interesting for sure.

Ashmax · 03/10/2022 18:43

Still a bit faint for me but hopefully will get stronger 🤞.

On the days my HR was high my HRV was low? I don't know much about it to be honest apart from what Dr Google has said! Apparently HRV is lower in pregnancy!

allgoodthings84 · 03/10/2022 18:41

@Ashmax congratulations that definitely looks positive to me 😊

whats this about HRV? I’ve just got the new Fitbit versa 4 which has this but I don’t know much about it apart from it tends to go up during follicular phase and down during luteal phase. Is that right? In what way was your HRV interesting this cycle compared to others?

Annapolis35 · 03/10/2022 14:00

Congratulations @Ashmax looks positive!

@TTC2022newbie Very positive rhr, fingers crossed.

Ashmax · 03/10/2022 13:32

I got my dates totally wrong! AF was due yesterday.

My HR had been going up but nothing dramatic.

Will share the graph from my last pregnancy. It ended up as MC.

HRV has been interesting this time around however.

TTC2022newbie · 03/10/2022 09:24

Morning all

I'm 12dpo AF due Wednesday and still BFN but RHR is still going up 🤷🏼‍♀️ no idea why!

Had some symptoms on 9dpo but nothing really since.

I can’t really make much sense of mine as only really just noticed it so will keep an eye over the next month. My HRV is a lot lower than yours but I have read that individuals have their own baseline and you can’t really compare it to other people, but just rather your own trends. Be interesting to keep an eye on! Hope AF doesn’t show today

Ashmax · 02/10/2022 20:46

It's heart rate variability.

So on the days I noticed my HR being generally elevated and a higher daily HR my HRV also changed in trends.

I looked it up and HRV in pregnancy was supposedly lower. I probably wouldn't be the best at explaining of you want to Google.

Found it on health metrics but it only gives a 7 week view so I have been keeping notes on mine.

@Ashmax I can definitely see something on that test so that’s exciting! Keep us updated tomorrow and hope AF doesn’t show.

I haven’t really looked at either HRV or breathing rate before, I didn’t even know they were there! What have they been telling you? I’ll keep an eye on that now to see.

Ashmax · 02/10/2022 19:19

Not to worry! Was a hard one to photograph.

Pretty sure that was an evap line any way!

Been taking Sainsbury's own brand 6 days early tests and have been seeing something. But these are notorious for false positives!

AF (I think) due tomorrow and HR has decreased. It did with my last BFP that I lost at 5 weeks. Although HRV and breathing rates on Fitbit have been interesting! Have you ever looked at these on the TWW?

Annapolis35 · 01/10/2022 20:20

@Ashmax the heart rate is a positive sign. I’m afraid I can’t see anything on that test, but I’m never particularly good at things like that. Fingers crossed!

Ashmax · 01/10/2022 10:30

I'm not sure about me.

Going by my 'usual' pre MC cycle and taking Monday as when AF is due.

Have taken 3 FRER'S since suspected 6 days before AF due and think I'm getting stung by evaps. 3/3.

My HR leveled off and went back down again. It spiked and has stayed spiked for the last 3 days.
