I know there was a thread where ladies tracked their rhr about a year ago and wanted to start it back up again as i’m tracking my resting heart rate! at about 7dpo today and it’s been rising for me! anyone else tracking rhr for bfp?

@winterspinach Oh wow that’s jumped up! That’s so promising and I have my fingers crossed. I dont think mine has ever been that high overnight, normally it drops very low when sleeping. Symptom spotting is part of the course haha. I’ve had very few, slightly sore boobs and a full feeling down below (which I normally get before AF) but I am not sure if I’m imagining that. I’m trying hard not to either as every month I’ve had loads of symptoms and it turned out to be nothing.

My heart rate went up to 68 today and if you see the 30 day view below you can see how utterly strange this month is. Last month at 7dpo it was at 76… so odd. I am being hopeful about it, but it is weird that it hasn’t risen at all really and I’m concerned I haven’t ovulated, but mostly I’m trying not to worry about it!!

Ladies I'd be grateful for your view... I've circled ovulation day and I'm now 10 DPO. Last month I had a chemical and my RHR dropped by 2 at 11 DPO and another 2 at 12 DPO so just hoping it stays up this month!!

@Annapolis35 thank you!

I’ve got high hopes for you this month, how are you getting on with your rhr today? It’ll be interesting to see if this difference in your chart means that you’re actually pregnant this month! 🤞🏽

My rhr rose by 2 bpm this morning. last night the lowest it went to when sleeping was 74 which is bizarre as it’s never been that high. it’s always at least 70 and the lowest it goes is 62. 5 dpo today, but gonna try not to symptom spot

thats looking promising @winterspinach!! Haha yes I’m absolutely the same, any little pinch and I think could be it! Yes being hopeful and positive is definitely the best way of dealing with this, otherwise it would just be misery and then at least you can enjoy the process

if you look at the three month view below you can see how different it is this month. It’s so strange and I don’t understand

morning @Annapolis35 !
And god, yes you’re right. I get my hopes up for a moment and then I think oh wait no don’t set yourself up like that. But I agree, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being somewhat positive and being in a good mood about it. May as well rather than stress for two weeks!

If your rhr is doing something outside of the norm that could be a good sign 🤞🏽
overanalysing while ttc is almost unavoidable haha. I get a punch here and there and wonder if i’m pregnant!

Im 4dpo today and my rhr went up 2 bpm so maybe that’s something. Last night my lowers heart rate when sleeping was 70 and the day before it was a very low 62.

Yeah hopefully! I’m quietly hopeful. It’s difficult isn’t it? You don’t want to get your hopes up but also it’s better to be positive and to hope rather than to be gloomy about prospects as if your period arrives or you get a BFN you’re gonna be disappointed either way so might as well be excited for two weeks!

My rhr is still low on 6dpo at 67… who knows what is going on. I thought maybe I hadn’t ovulated for a bit but I had a lot of ewcm and was really in the mood so think I did, and I’ve dried up a lot down there. Haven’t had any period pains yet and they normally start around now. Ah I need to stop over analyzing!! My AF is due next Saturday so should know in a week what is going on.

winterspinach · 15/10/2022 18:39

@Annapolis35 hope you have a great time with really good news just before!!!
Since it’s 5dpo I suppose implantation could pretty much happen soon and then you’d see the steep rise. fingers crossed for you 🫶🏽

We are away for two weeks, definitely a well needed rest! Yeah mine is still similar to yours, still dipped and below ovulation rate - I’m 5dpo today. It hasn’t really done this before so I don’t know what to think. Am trying to be positive though as implantation happens between 6-12 dpo so it’s still a bit early

@Annapolis35 that’s really something to look forward to! how long are you going away for?
it looks like my graph is doing something similar to what yours was. I’m at 4dpo and it’s going down which is a difference to last month. it went down 2 bpm this morn :/. how are you getting on? xx

This looks like a BBT graph, doesn’t it! I think it’s so interesting. I have done my first round of IVF and you can clearly see when egg collection was, and the fact that I have been spotting more and more as my period approaches. It’s certainly a cheaper option than FRERs!

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 16:36

@Annapolis35 it really does. The first 2 weeks or do is full of optimism for a new go then the LP is just a waiting game. Feels like willing time on all the time

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 15:12

@allgoodthings84 Aw bless you!! I am so glad you got your bfp. I’m going to try and chill out my mind as possible for the next week and a half and fill the time with nice things, just try not to focus on it. It feels like time slows down

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 14:42

@Annapolis35 yep so differently. Then again I wasn’t ttc then so wouldn’t have thought anything of any slight symptoms. I didn’t even track my periods or anything which is why I didn’t realise at first. I thought I no longer even ovulate so had 21 day bloods done and sobbed to my partner how I’ve ruined his chances of a child. Then a week later I get a bfp 🤦‍♀️

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 14:35

@allgoodthings84 thank you! Yeah sounds similar to when I was pregnant in feb, I felt exactly like AF was about to come and even went and bought tampons. I also had a speck of blood around 10dpo. I think I will ignore any “symptoms” too as it doesn’t really help to spot. Wow 7 weeks! It’s so strange how bodies respond differently to each pregnancy

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 14:29

Funnily enough my RHR has now gone up to 66bpm (was 65bpm this morning after sleep)

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 14:27

@Annapolis35 but with my daughter 8 years ago I felt absolutely nothing and didn’t find out I was pregnant until nearly 7 weeks!

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 14:27

@Annapolis35 at some point after 6dpo I felt what was just like stitch type pains which would start round the front then move to my back which felt like sciatica. Really quick sharp pains. I’m not sure exactly what day as I tried to ignore them because I’ve had so many “symptoms” over the last 5 cycles to be left disappointed. Apart from that I felt the same. I had all my normal pre AF feelings too (slightly sore boobs and mild twinges) but never turned to full on AF. Biggest sign for me (apart from no AF 13dpo) was that my spotting that normally happens 9/10dpo just didn’t happen just a tiny speck 11dpo then nothing else

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 14:11

Sorry @allgoodthings84 I have another question and hope you don’t mind. Did you have any symptoms or anything during the wait? Or did you just feel normal?

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 13:55

@winterspinach glad the o date was later and you got to dtd!! Keeping very positive this cycle so I’m hopeful that dip after ovulation is a good thing. Will just have to see. Glad you are having a holiday and get to relax. We have a holiday on 31 Oct so I figure even if this isn’t our month at least we have something really nice to look forward to.

@allgoodthings84 i am wishing you all the best for your pregnancy and hope you have a healthy nine months. Yep, as long as rhr stays up when AF is due then you’re in with a good chance

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 12:45

@Annapolis35 @winterspinach thank you both. I really hope it sticks it took 5 cycles but we both had covid 3 months ago and apparently my partner nearly died (he didn’t he’s exaggerating. good thing they don’t give birth 😂). I think with the RHR thing as long as the line goes up however slowly (even with dips) then there’s a chance. I think it’s just when there’s a sudden sharp decrease just before AF then it’s a no go but again doesn’t mean would be the same for everyone

I hope you both get your bfp very soon 😊

winterspinach · 13/10/2022 10:28

@Annapolis35 it could always rise again! deffo take into account what @allgoodthings84 shared with us (thank you and so many congratulations!) now it’s not so frightening if rhr drops a bit as long as it rises again. last time mien kept rising with a BFN at the end 😂 so i guess its not always such an exact science.

i got some tests and my peak was the day before yesterday so i think i ovulated yday and today i’m 1dpo so i’m two days behind what i thought! but this gave us a chance to BD lots as i thought we have no more hope so i’m happy about that :) we’re away on a staycation right now so that’s helped relax my body and keep cortisol down!

OP posts:
Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 09:28

@allgoodthings84 The test looks pretty good to me, the frer will be good though to test. Very exciting!

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 09:07

@Annapolis35 I’m 14dpo. I got a really really faint line on a cheapie 12dpo but didn’t trust it until today. I’m going to get a frer later to take in the morning as these were all I had. These were taken at 2 minutes. The line on the boots one got a lot darker once dried etc

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 08:55

Ahaha sounds familiar, I was wondering this morning if I had even ovulated too! Though I feel so positive about this cycle, and whenever I start over analyzing I keep reassuring myself that doing that won’t change the outcome! Such nice news for you though, how many dpo are you now?
