Hi all,

I'm new here and looking for my cycle buddies.

Currently CD24, 8 DPO. I'm in my TWW and the wait is killing me! Tested with FMU today and BFN. Although I convinced myself I saw a shadow, I think it's probably my line eyes lol.

I miscarried my first pregnancy 23/08 at 4w2d ( CP )Sad

Praying for my BFP this monthHalo

Anybody else in the same boat??

@RJS20 hey, how are you doing?

How is everyone?

I'm feeling so much better this evening and going to carry on with a mind set of 'this cycle hasn't worked' I'm not going to test early and just Carry on DTD and not over thinking everything!!

I'm 1DPO according to my app 🤷🏼‍♀️ but knowing me it can be give or take 2/3 days.

ttcbaby12023 · 22/09/2022 08:24

@Nellybelly03 cycle sisters! 👯‍♀️

AF due today for me! CD31

FMU test BFN! 🤦‍♀️ Just waiting on AF to arrive now. I've got that congested feeling downstairs so I know she's just waiting on the flood gates to open lol

I saw some shadows on my cheapies last night (boots strips/first vue strips) and used FRER this morning but of course not even an indent!

I really take your not out until AF arrives way too serious, like the BFN's aren't enough for me🤷‍♀️

@LittleMissV989 Welcome lovely!💕 we are all in the same boat here so always here for a chat. My partner is also just way too relaxed, TTC can be so lonely! Especially for us ladies, it's always on our minds and when it doesn't happen we get frustrated with our own bodies( well I do anyways)

I can't wait to see some BFP's as the weeks go on 🤞🏼

I've felt completely out of sorts this cycle and haven't felt like it was going right at all.
Last night did not help when I'm fairly convinced it was ovulation day, DH had a bad day at work and wasn't in the move. 😔

I just feel like writing this whole cycle off.

AF is due when I'm in Wales so I don't really want it to hang over me on holiday so I think I just need to forget about this cycle and just get in a better frame of mind next month.

Hello everyone I'm glad I've found this post I dont feel so alone now. I'm 32 years old and ttc for first time. Its the 2nd month trying for us and I'm hoping to ovulate any day now. It's all I can think about I never thought ttc would take over my life so much I wish I could just relax but it's all I think about. Let's hope we all get our bfps soon Sending you ladies lots of baby dust.

Hi

I'm glad you found it too ☺️

I think I'm ovulating, my cycle is very regular and I usually get ovulation symptoms, one being absolutely knackered like today 🥱

I never thought it would consume my mind as much as it is too 🤯 I just have to keep busy and do something most nights after work.

🤞For BFPs in this post 🙂

Hello Everyone,

Im new here, can I join please?

Im 33 and currently on Cycle 1 of TTC baby number 1. I’ve been with my husband 9 years and we are very excited at the prospect of starting a family. I am concerned ( although no evidence!) that I will find it difficult as I have irregular cycles . They can be anything from 28 days to 39. My longest was in 2020 which was 47 days!
Im currently on CD 11 and just did my first ever ovulation test (negative).
I don’t want to stress before we even start- we’re trying not to be too regimented about it - just having fun 😉
hooe to make some ttc buddies!

Hi ☺️👋

I'm 31 DH 36 and we are on cycle 4 for baby #1
We have been married for 9 years.

It's so hard not to think about it when you know there is science behind it, or DTD in ovulation window....

I was really bad the first cycle, obsessed with everything and testing every morning but I'm a but I'm a bit more relaxed now on cycle 4 but just feeling a bit disheartening now because I'm still not pregnant 😔

Just hoping and praying I get BFP before 2023...

Yes I'm so glad I've made some TTC buddies, has massively helped talking to others about it. Especially because DH is so relaxing and won't really talk about it.

@ttcbaby12023 we seem to have quite similar cycles, AF is due Friday for me! I have been testing like a crazy woman lol, I thought I seen a faint line on 10DPO, but have had a definite BFN yesterday and this morning at 13DPO. Just going to try wait it out until AF to arrive now

TTC2022newbie · 21/09/2022 15:07

@RJS20 how are you feeling today?
I always get so tired when I'm ovulating, just can't concentrate today 🤦🏼‍♀️🥱

@TTC2022newbie

No worries - OPK is ovulation prediction kit, so they tell you when you have surge of LH which means you are ovulating. I meant SMEP sorry, which is sperm meets egg plan - spermmeetseggplan.com

xx

I have not done/used either of these.

My cycle is quite short CD21-25 so after AF is gone I'm pretty much straight into ovulation and then TWW a week after.

And 'most' months I get ovulation pain so we have just been DTD every other or every day.

I might get a bit more planned if nothing happens after cycle 6/7 but I'm not sure what help OPK would be.

This cycle we are DTD every day from CD7. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@TTC2022newbie

3/4 months. I’m also CD11!! How exciting. Are you using OPKs?

Yeah my hubby is also pretty chilled but I’m a planner and I like to talk things out, luckily he calms me down haha xx

You're going to have to help me with EMSP and OPKs as I have no idea what they mean 🤣

The only thing different about this cycle is that I am using a fertility cup

@ttcbaby12023

It was much needed after Covid, I needed to have as many holidays as possible this year!

Well I have everything crossed that AF stays away and we see a BFP soon.

Its so hard isn’t it. My cousin is the same ages as me and she has two little girls. She came off the pill and fell pregnant that month 😲 so I just hoped it would happen for us but it is what it is and baby will be worth the wait.

No, I am CD11 so in the fun bit at the mo haha. We are doing EMSP this month! xx

Yes, I’m also limiting caffeine but find it hard to focus at work without it haha!

I’m the same, it’s the not knowing if it will ever happen. We’ve already talked about plans if it doesn’t so that we are prepared and can be excited about other stuff.

I’m sure it’ll happen for us! ❤️Are you currently in the TWW? Xxx

How long have you been TTC?

I'm about CD11 so not quite in the TWW.

My hubby doesn't really talk about that much, he's soooo chilled out and just says "stop stressing and worried, it'll happen at some point!"

Don't know how he's so relaxed about it all, think he knows how much life will change if/when we actually have a baby so he's in no rush 😂

@TTC2022newbie I need to take a leaf out of your book and stop torturing myself 🤣

You'd think by now in my cycle not getting my BFP that I would stop! Line eyes in full force on my stark negative tests 🤦‍♀️

I'm excited to hear how both of your cycles progress ladies🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Thanks, I'm just not that excited about this cycle. Just feeling like it won't happen now.

It's only the 4th cycle TTC too 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ feels so disheartening when you only have 20% chance each month.
How do people 'accidentally' get pregnant!! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Would definitely recommend not testing all the time, I just get up and have my first wee and not test, then tell myself I can't test until 'tomorrow', and just not test....
Basically 'tomorrow' doesn't come 🤣

@ttcbaby12023 I tested so much in the first cycle, every morning from DPO9 and now I'm much better, I'll test the day before AF is due then I either get AF or I test on day 4 ish of being late... I'm finding that helps my mindset because if I don't know I have more hope and optimism.

Seeing the negative test just makes me feel rubbish

ttcbaby12023 · 20/09/2022 12:14

@TTC2022newbie fingers crossed for you lovely💖

Despite AF being due in 2 days I'm still testing like there's no tomorrow, I'm still holding out a pinch of hope that she doesn't show this month and my BFP is just waiting to show!

It's a toxic cycle I have no discipline when it comes to testing, it feels like a game 🤣

@RJS20 @TTC2022newbie

Completely agree! Our lives are on hold waiting for baby to plant themselves 👶🏻

It's obviously 100% worth it in the long run when we all finally have our little ones, but every so often when AF arrives I feel a little silly for restricting myself so much!

AF is serving me cramps and booby pain today so definitely think I'm out this month. Myself and my OH laugh as we celebrated our 10yr anniversary in June, after hardcore preventing pregnancy all these years, if only we knew really how hard it is to conceive lol!!

We will celebrate our 10yr anniversary next April. We held off too and glad we did. I just want to be pregnant on our anniversary now..

The days before AF are definitely the hardest!! 😐

ttcbaby12023 · 20/09/2022 11:12

@RJS20 I'm glad that you took your summer to enjoy! You really need to have enjoyed yourself before TTC because it's heavy on the heart🤞🏼

My best guess is it's AF. My Flo tracker says AF is due in 2 days, although I can't exactly trust it after my chemical pregnancy last month!

Don't pressure yourself comparing to others, I had done that to myself when I started TTC last October. I came off my pill and like everybody else had expected to fall pregnant instantly, but the reality was I never conceived until last month- almost a year later! Everybody is different💖

Are you in your TWW currently? X

OP posts:
RJS20 · 20/09/2022 10:58

@ttcbaby12023

100% agree with the restricting - we celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary in August and I limited myself just in case, I’m glad I did just in case but seemed silly after.

Are you sure it’s AF, it could be early symptoms?

Aww congrats on your anniversary! We are the same, held off so we could enjoy this summer, last holiday in Ibiza with the girls etc. I was on the pill until the start June so that might be why it hasn’t happened yet. However, everyone I know who came off the pill fell pregnant within a matter of months!

@RJS20 I feel the same, I'm not drinking and have limited caffeine but don't know how to relax. I have definitely felt like life is on hold.

I agree, that as time goes on and if I don't get pregnant, surely it will only feel harder and I'll struggle. I did feel optimistic this cycle so maybe I need to get back to being positive and optimistic.

I think because this is the first time we have been TTC I have no idea if we can actually conceive.
