It’s stronger in real life tho still very faint. According to Flo (which isn’t 100 percent accurate obviously) I’m 12dpo 3/4 days til period. Had loads of things happen this month that have been out of the ordinary for my cycle. Sorry for bombardment of pics I’m scared to death and couldn’t get it to look like it does in real life. Tho still faint in real life. Did with fmu but still early to test I think as haven’t missed period. I don’t know. Anyway does anyone else see a line? Can anyone please do that messing with the contrast thing you guys are so good at for me please? Thanks in advance

@MillieKitty would it? I’m too scared now that it wouldn’t show up 🤦‍♀️😂 it’s clear how I feel then isn’t it! Thank you for the info 😊

@mummatara oh the dreaded age 35 clock for sure gets you thinking! Thanks for the info too. I’m so scared now it won’t show up like I said👆 So there’s my answer how I feel.

Im so scared! Tried to pee but too scared to push 🤦‍♀️😂 what if I hurt it? If it’s there obviously. What if it’s medical one, the chemical one? Have I hurt it with stress lately and not eating properly? I don’t even know if it’s there but can I eat yoghurts? I just had a bit of one I can’t keep not eating.

If I am pregnant what can I not do? Oh god! What if I hurt it?

@MissParis no I had a positive on a first response which is the most sensitive you can get earlier than you are now. You can get them from boots. In my previous pregnancy I had a positive on a clear blue about where you are now. Usually if they are showing on the strips you have then they will show on something like that. They do say a red dye test like a first response is more reliable than a clear blue as blue dye tests can get bad evaporation lines but I've never had a problem with using them.

Mumsnet is great for asking questions if you're unsure of anything it can be hard not having anyone to chat to about it.

It doesn't always take that long I fell on cycle 3 with my first, the second was a surprise though we did unfortunately lose that one and I'm now pregnant again on the first cycle after the MC.

I had my first at 35 that clock def gets you thinking doesn't it

MillieKitty · 07/09/2022 09:55

@MissParis hey :)

I can defo see something too. if you’re 12dpo it should show up on a first response, or even a sainsburys own brand in my experience, good luck!! 🤞🏼

@mummatara · Today 09:39

I def see it could you get a more sensitive test to see if the line is more definitive? I have looked at a lot of these strip tests positive and negative so I think my line eyes are pretty good! But in my experience they take quite a while for the line to darken into what I call an actual no squinting line and I've had a better answer with a first response or clear blue.

Yeah I’m gonna do this for sure but isn’t it too early for those yet? I genuinely don’t know. I hardly know anything my mum died when I was young so I’m really naive and not much knowledge of this stuff as no parents to ask if that makes sense.

Lol it's very exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time don't worry timing is never perfect I'm not sure that it ever is when it comes to babies but it is fun and exciting and scary all at the same time ❤️

I agree with this 100 percent! I don’t know if I feel sick with nerves or excitement at the possibility ! There is never a right time, you’re right about that. I thought the same myself when it came up. But I’m ageing now so now is as good a time as any I guess! I always wanted babies especially lately. Hence the no contraception. But somehow the reality now feels very different to some abstract idea of a baby if that makes sense. Especially the first month of dtd no condoms (can’t use hormonal and last time I had copper coil I felt for the strings as they tell you and it was sticking out my cervix 🤢) so was condoms until this month. I thought it took like an average of a year or more?

@carlandellie seriously?! Wow! I thought some don’t even show the line. When did you get your less squinty ones? You really see one in every photo? Even I’m struggling to see one on every photo unless I zoom in - others are more clear. The light here isn’t great. The test is more clear. How early did you do yours when they looked like this? Was that your first? God so many questions.. this feels weird. I could have a baby inside me. Obviously I need to keep checking but .. it seems that way at the moment along with my other symptoms!

@Devo1818 I’m always reading these boards and usually with faint lines there’s at least one person who doesn’t see it, or struggles to and isn’t sure. So this is pretty unanimous so far. God could I really be pregnant? What do I do now? Keep testing? I have I think maybe three more of these boxes of tests they’re only a quid for two in Tesco so I grabbed loads the other day. This is the first day anything has shown. Been spotting since mid cycle. Weird cramps. Nausea the day before yesterday for two days. Trouble eating. Sooooo tired. Sore left nipple 🥴 etc. Lots of weird stuff

I see a very faint line!!!!

MissParis · 07/09/2022 09:31

@mummatara really? I’m shaking like crazy.. I don’t know how to feel! I want a child. More than anything. But the timing. But then I’m 35 and my time is running out so I would be happy. But scared. And happy. And scared. Oh my god. Do you both really see it? I can in real life. But faint. But it’s early. Oh god I’m rambling 🤦‍♀️😂
