Hi all,

I wanted to start a thread where people can come to brain dump about feelings, symptoms and anything really. I’m struggling with TTC, pcos and a lot of emotions this month and find it useful to just hear what others are going though!

I also thought a thread for people like me who can’t help but test to share photos and experiences 😌

My most recent tests attached, could be anything from 18-5 DPO 🤦‍♀️ Neither are with FMU.

Current symptoms, EXTREMELY bloated, twinges in hips and sides and knackered - none of these are massively unusual for me…

Uncertainty sucks... If we at least knew for sure it will happen at a certain time...
Meanwhile, I am testing like crazy 🙈, all negative, ovulated on August 20.
If not pregnant, I hope at least period starts soon before I finish all the tests I bought.

mamazac · 01/09/2022 11:54

@JaneGnR88 I have more of those cheapies and I've got a digital but I'm not going to waste that. Will probs just do another cheapie tonight and see if that shows the same indent or something a bit darker maybe

JaneGnR88 · 01/09/2022 10:03

Sorry to hear that @Gillseybear did you say how many DPO you were? Sorry if I missed that!
Try and treat yourself to take your mind off it for a little while!

@mamazac do you have any other tests you could try?

I’ve got quite a lot of ewcm (sorry tmi) which is weird at this stage but again, my hormones are all over anyway so what is normal?!

@JaneGnR88 I am not feeling the greatest this morning. I did another test and it was negative. Not sure why I bothered testing to be honest.
I still feel all the symptoms and just do not feel right at all. I just wish I could get some answers.

JaneGnR88 · 01/09/2022 08:54

I should get some different cheapies cos I don’t trust those, I feel like it pools and then when it dries it’s much harder to see!

Thanks both 🤞🤞🤞 I started this year after having my chemical in December thinking ‘it’s okay all be pregnant by the end of the year’ and it’s September now and nothing but a PCOS diagnosis 🤦‍♀️

Yeah I can see something forming there

mamazac · 01/09/2022 08:31

@JaneGnR88 yeah that's exactly what mine looks like I just couldn't get a good enough picture! I'm thinking mines an indent as there's not much colour to it but yours look a lot more promising!

JaneGnR88 · 01/09/2022 08:29

You are welcome @Ana12345 hope you’re okay this morning?

@Gillseybear makes sense, see if you can hold
off but trying a sensitive test sounds like a good idea, let us know how you get on! How do you feel?

@mamazac I can see something, very very faint thought and I’m not used to those tests, could be an evap? Jealous of your bubble bath! 😅

My bloating has gone down a bit this morning, thank god, it was so painful! Just done a couple of cheapies and as always can see something…don’t want to waste a frer so holding off! Piccie attached of the 2 from today ✨

Got what I think is a very convincing indent this morning on a boots strip test, apologies for the bath picture but I don't have much time in the mornings😂

Gillseybear · 31/08/2022 23:26

@JaneGnR88 yeah from what I could gather but I did not actually see her do it as she went out back.
I got a faint positive on the cheapie tests that you can get from Amazon but it was a very very faint line.
I have some more tests that I brought today. I am going to try and hold out until Friday and test again then but might take one tomorrow when I wake up. I will see I guess.

Ana12345 · 31/08/2022 21:46

@JaneGnR88 thanks for the good wishes and for opening this topic. It's really good to have someone to talk who fully understands your emotions. 🤗🤗

JaneGnR88 · 31/08/2022 21:42

Hope you’re okay @Ana12345 This might not be a bad thing, I got it when I was pregnant a few days before I got my BFP so 🤞 X

Ana12345 · 31/08/2022 21:28

I had a very small and slightly colored discharge... This usually happens when period is close. Did not happened when pregnant. :(

JaneGnR88 · 31/08/2022 20:38

Hey @mamazac 👋 haha I can’t stay away!

I do the same with photos too, end up driving myself mad looking at them so get rid of them
all!

Keep us updated, wishing you all the best! ✨✨✨

Hey @JaneGnR88 nice to see you on the testing threads again 😂

I'm 10/11dpo and have been driving myself mad with frer indents! Had a strop earlier and deleted all of my pictures of my tests I'd taken and decided no more expensive tests and will just take the cheapies in the morning until AF comes to scratch my testing itch.

Sorry to hear you had a mare with your OPK's, I did too, they were all over the place.

Will keep you updated with my cheapies as I do them. Only so into it this month because I've had loads of symptoms which I never usually have!

Keep us updated on your tests, I love a line eyes xx

JaneGnR88 · 31/08/2022 17:41

Urgh all this afternoon I’ve been getting tweaks, nips and shooting pains in my stomach, no idea what’s going on and could very well be totally unrelated to TTC! 🤦‍♀️

OP posts:
JaneGnR88 · 31/08/2022 17:29

Ahh I see, sorry! So the GP did a normal
pregnancy test, I’m not 100% but I have heard on here that the ones doctors use aren’t as sensitive as some, so if you’re very early and you saw your faint line on a frer it could be due to that? Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞✨

Gillseybear · 31/08/2022 17:21

@JaneGnR88 thank you so much for your reply. I did not get bloods done yet. The doctor did not want to do them as they test she did was negative and she wants to rule out other things aswell.
So going to do a test with my FMU tomorrow and see what happens from there. It's just annoying that my body is making no sense.

JaneGnR88 · 31/08/2022 17:19

Hey @Gillseybear so sorry to hear about your loss ❤️
Have you done another test since you had your bloods done?

OP posts:
Gillseybear · 31/08/2022 17:11

Hey app,

Can I join please???
In a confusing situation myself. I got a faint positive on a test that I did yesterday after not feeling right for a few days and having a very light what I thought was AF.
Due to having to previous miscarriages, I wanted to get in with the doctor. I managed to get in with a doctor today and she did her own test which was negative. So it's left me really confused and I am really not sure what to do now.
For the past week I have not felt right. My AF was an awful lot lighter than it would normally be. I also had no PMS symptoms. However, for the past week, I have had a tugging sensation/pain behind my belly button. I have also been running to the loo more, had nausea and vomiting, headaches, awful mood swings and other symptoms aswell. I am also super exhausted but I have been put on new tablets and so it's linked to that aswell.

Moosh18 · 31/08/2022 16:28

@JaneGnR88 I kept getting multiple positive opks each month, so I started temping alongside xx

JaneGnR88 · 31/08/2022 15:24

I do use OPKs @Moosh18 but had a couple of peaks this past month so a bit unsure. It’s horrible isn’t it because you think ‘great I’ll test!’ And then your period never comes anyway!

OP posts:
Moosh18 · 31/08/2022 15:16

@JaneGnR88 do you test for ovulation or temp or anything? It's so so hard trying with irregular cycles! We tried for 2 years before but only actually had 9 cycles! X

JaneGnR88 · 31/08/2022 14:56

I’m the same with being tired all the time, nothing new!
I think I probably will, mainly because I’m not 100% on my cycle but it has been 4 weeks since the start of my last period so if I was ‘normal’ I would be testing around now I think. And sometimes (rarely) I do have normal
length cycles 🤞

OP posts:
Moosh18 · 31/08/2022 14:49

@JaneGnR88 I've had some cramps and backache mildly for three days now, but that could be period coming! I'm exhausted, but that's not new 😂 when I was pregnant with my two losses, both times I had like a wierd pulling pain when I moved too fast, I haven't had that this time! But I am sooooo bloated!

Will you be testing daily now? I'm so tempted to just wait it it, but don't think I have the will power x
