@monsteramunch That’s reassuring thank you! My pains aren’t bad, it’s just been an aching type of cramp a bit like mild period pain! I just wish I could see what was going on inside my body 🤣 it’s really bugging me not knowing when I’m going to ovulate as part of me feels like I’ve missed it, but the only days I didn’t test were the 4 days after my period ended. Surely that would be too soon to ovulate?

I get ovulation pain about 2 days before a positive test usually. They're bloody horrible. But quite reassuring each month now we're TTC, so that's a plus!

Has anyone experienced cramping before getting a positive ovulation test? Have had mild cramps on and off today but still negative ovulation tests!

@Emmalou0607 yeah stressing yourself out isn't going to be helping things. When we tried for our first we were pretty laid back about it. I had an idea of how my cycle went so had an idea of a good time to be DTD but being niaive to most things back then I think helped! We conceived in 3 cycles and now trying for number 2, have had chemical, early miscarriage and now tracking a bit more intensely to know when ovulation occurs. We've been trying for almost a year now. I'd definitely recommend not doing too much reading to start with and go with the flow.

@MamaSJ15 yes trying for our first, feeling a bit overwhelmed to be honest. I stress a lot over uncertainty and have dived into trying to learn everything possible about TTC which has probably stressed me out more 😂

Hey! I'm new here but wanted to find somewhere where others are also TTC. We are pretty early on trying (month 4 currently, 2 months of this DH, then I had Covid which hasn't helped) but have been probably over thinking and worrying. Keeping track of LH levels for the past 2 months and they seem quite low, might have missed my peak as o think I have a sudden rise and only show around 0.6-0.7 at the highest and the rest of the month down around 0.1.

Anyway I'm rambling now. Hope it's okay I've joined!

@MamaSJ15 thats brilliant! Really handy feature. I’ve just had a look at what I’d logged the past two months in terms of discharge changes and I think flo is 4 or 5 days out with my ovulation date! So I’m hopeful for the end of this week

@Eka94 yeah it was recommended to me and I've used it ever since, I love the feature where you track all the opks, it's so easy to see the peak then. I'll upload my latest now.

Just looked at calendar.

Ovulated (digital test so accurate usually) on CD15/16 and DTD day 14, 15 and 16.

I reckon that's our most well timed month so far.

I’ve just downloaded the Premom app actually so I’m going to give that a try! My first was 2 in august :-)

@Eka94 I started tracking a few cycles ago with OPK too and I use premom app which I find is quite good at changing the dates to go with the tests and things. Im also trying for baby no 2. How old is your first?

I tried Clue but found it really clunky and not intuitive to use so gave up. I'm sure there are some others out there who can recommend others. Flo is really well designed user experience wise and intuitive from the get go so it's a shame the ovulation days seem to be a sticking point in the back end of the app.

I wonder if there is a better app that we could try..

Yeah it's weird isn't it! Not sure why it doesn't, glad it's not just like that for me!

Thank you, yeah I’ve just started using clear blue Digital tests! I have noticed that flo never updates predictions based on my tests/period dates etc it just seems to stay the same!

Mine was a good few days out but I didn't realise until I started using digital OPKs. I've found them really helpful. Flo isn't great at updating predictions even when I update it with OPK results, not sure why! So I'm using it more as a diary than anything this month to see how I go.

Hello I’m new to this thread (and mumsnet!) I’m TTC with my 2nd baby and tracking ovulation. I use the flo app and have been testing once a day. Have any of you found that the apps are inaccurate with ovulation date? And is it best to test twice a day? Thanks

To anyone else who finds the strip OPKs tricky or isn't sure when they ovulate, I've been using clearblue digital ovulation kits for the last few months and it's been really helpful as my Flo app was 3 days out so realised we had likely been timing things wrong for quite a few months! Hopefully now we'll be in a better position (as it were!) for things to go our way.

@MamaSJ15 what a lovely, clear progression on those OPK’s! It’s great when you can really pinpoint exactly when ovulation is! That’s my goal this cycle! I’ve just been doing one OPK a day the last 3-4 days and so far I’m CD12 today and OPK is similar to your CD10/12. No EWCM just more creamy atm! My Flo app is predicting end of the week for ovulation. Im getting a couple twinges and cramps so hopefully body is prepping for it! Im a bit concerned as my OH has lots of plans this weekend so I will have to pin him down if it is end of the week haha! So glad to hear you’re feeling positive about your timings.. love the positivity!

So true - I think I only managed it one month and we're on ten or so!

@monsteramunch welcome to the tww, also 1dpo here 👍 we all try to wait to test, it usually doesn't happen 🙈 haha

Managed to DTD on two peak days and one high day (so three days in a row in most fertile window) and really, really hoping this is our month.

I'm now 1DPO so the dreaded TWW begins again! Going to try not to take any tests until AF is actually late this time.

Thought I'd share the progression of OPK. I'm going with 1dpo today 👍 how're you getting on? @Hjudge56

@MrsCristianoX no not tonight, I'm happy with the two times we've managed. It's even darker this evening! I don't remember mine happening so quickly to be honest. But I didn't test properly last cycle cause we were busy moving.
