Hey all!!

Sadly nothing happened last month for us. We've been TTC for a year now (both 27). Feeling sad and anxious tonight - just not sure why it's not happening? I have regular periods and we have lots of regular sex - especially when we know I'm ovulating!

@Hjudge56 ah that's good that you're so regular then! No idea what the cramping could be that early on though.
No symptoms really. Had a metallic taste yesterday but not had it since. The lack of symptoms is usually a good sign though, whenever I've been pregnant (1st pregnancy and two early losses) I've had no symptoms. Any time I've had obvious signs, nothing! But I'm not holding out much hope, did another test tonight and it was totally negative. But no AF so far 🤞

@MamaSJ15 yes I used ovulation sticks and I always always always ovulate on CD 16 or 17!

have you got any symptoms?

@MamaSJ15 can't pinpoint an exact date but we DTD every other day through the two week fertile window so I'm hoping we caught then. I'm also really bloated but i do tend to bloat obviously before a period.

That is very early for cramping. Are you definite on when you ovulated?

@canonlyhopexo they sound like good signs. Do you have a rough idea of when ovulation was if you don't for definite?

@Hjudge56 I'm CD25 of 33ish. I'm the same. I don't know exactly what day I ovulated but I have had cramping, kinda feels period kinda like I need a poo lol but I've been to the toilet. I'm also really REALLY tired.

im 4/5dpo today and been having on and off cramping which is unusual for me. I’m a 29 day cycle so usually don’t cramp till CD 27 but I’m CD21 today. Probably just AF cramping a little earlier than usual!

@alwaysseeingstars I know I'm not sure either. I've had a mix of all, was regular to start with and since the miscarriage have had a couple of longer cycles then back to 28 but with a later ovulation! It's all very confusing at times 😂

@Kitty901 yeah to be honest im sure I saw a mark on this one when I took it out of the wrapper. Fingers crossed no AF 🤞

I can see a shadow there where the second line is supposed to be but can't tell if it is an indent. I never had issues with the easy at home ones but the last box i bought had such a bad indents that the second line was there and visible as soon as i took the test out and that was on all tests. I have my fingers crossed for you too xxx hoping this is something!!

@MamaSJ15 Really hope AF doesn't show up today! And hopefully it's just how early it is to be testing as to why it's not on an FRER yet. I'm very torn as to which is worse, long cycles (less chances, more anxious waiting) or short cycles (shorter lp which must be worrying)!

@alwaysseeingstars I could definitely see something in person and that's not like me! Yeah both fmu. I caved and tested early anyway 🤦🏼‍♀️ AF due today but still only 10/11dpo today

@MamaSJ15 it's hard to tell, I feel like my eyes are drawn to something there though! Those cheapies are reaalllly hard to get a photo of though I find, I think even 3 days after my clear FRER I couldn't get a good pic of one. Did you use FMU for both tests? Really hope this is a bfp!! ❤️

What do we think? I'm sure I can see a faint line. I don't usually see things on these. Did a FRER too when I saw this but I don't see anything on that.

@MapleSyrup2112 definitely a good sign that the tests are getting darker! Hope you can get a scan or something soon to put your mind at ease 😊 it's not easy is it! Will this be your first baby? Sorry if you've already said x

@alwaysseeingstars thanks lovely. It’s just so unnerving and I don’t want to tell my partner about it cos he’ll worry more than me ! I just want to be out of the dark once I see my baby on the scan I’ll feel so much better ✨✨

@MapleSyrup2112 that's promising that the EPU don't sound concerned, my midwife told me unless I had severe cramping and some bleeding then not to be worried. I know that's an impossible task though!! Sorry about your miscarriage 😥

they had been getting darker

Hi @MapleSyrup2112 have you done any more tests since your first? Id be worried if the line was getting lighter but if not I'd say it's okay hopefully 😊

Hi everyone. I got my BFP Monday. I’ve had brown spotting everyday since. Today I have red spotting and mild cramping. I have phoned EPU and they’ve said it’s sounds okay. But I had what I thought was a period around 2 weeks ago and I’m nervous that this was a miscarriage. Has anyone had anything similar and been through a healthy pregnancy. I’ve had a miscarriage a year ago tomorrow and I can’t do it again 😭😭

@MamaSJ15 ah, I really hope this is good news for you!!

I keep getting a metallic taste in my mouth today, and my joints (knees mainly) have been hurting yesterday/today. The mouth ulcer is still there but fading 👍 and I had a short spell of lower back ache. I'm sure all these things can just mean AF is on the way but it does feel a little different to usual 🤷🏼‍♀️ guess we'll find out soon.

@alwaysseeingstars thank you 😊 trying my hardest not to test yet! I keep thinking about it but so far my willpower is staying strong 👍😂

@Tropicana1 they really do, I definitely feel like the odd one out 😂Oh that's good, but agree with you on it making you worry! My bloating returned with a vengeance last night so hopefully I was worrying about nothing. 12 weeks just seems such a long time to not have a clue what's going on!
@Kitty901 oh I completely understand getting a scan if you have cramps/bleeding, glad all was OK though! And glad the downs results came back ok too, that must be a worry off your mind.
@MamaSJ15 I'm keeping everything crossed for you with both the testing and the moving, stressful times!
@Hjudge56 3 weeks and 5 days till the scan (not that I'm counting) but I've got a fortnight it France between now and then so hopefully that'll stop me overthinking everything 😆
