Yeah the move was stressful and busy but we're in! Still sorting through stuff when we can be bothered, it may take a while 😂 DTD this evening and I'm pretty sure ovulation is imminent (have not tracked at all this cycle) so I'm hopeful that I have at least one chance this cycle!

@MrsCristianoX yeah sort of all sorted haha. Still got loads to do though. But working full time and a toddler slows things down haha.
I wanted to try and initiate last night but I was so tired from a late night the night before that I actually didn't. Got the feeling DH wanted to when we went to bed too but I'm thinking the same thing for him 😂 I have my fingers crossed for tonight. I haven't been tracking my cycle at all this time but I checked my app last night and today is CD17 so ovulation will be any day now I'm guessing. I had loads of CM yesterday too.

@MamaSJ15 you should join us on the ttc after miscarriage thread 11. There's more of us and everyone is super nice❤️ it is triggering a little given we both have had miscarriages but we all understand the worry and the girls are super supportive xx

Are you all sorted out now with the move? Has DH caved any? I saw my friend today with a 3 month old baby and DH was all gooey over baby

@birdboo your story actually hit me hard. Now I'm having a meltdown about possible conception.

@MamaSJ15 unfortunately with the level of bleeding and clots it's pretty certain

@Pika93 ah I'm sorry, that's rubbish. I know it sounds odd if AF has arrived but have you tested again just to be sure? Some people have been known to have periods while pregnant (I don't know anyone personally though)

@birdboo hello 👋 wow that sounds rough. I thought the birth of my DD was rough and traumatic but that sounds horrific.
Have you started TTC or are you just starting the journey now? It obviously makes no difference, were all here for support no longer how long we've all been TTC, I'm just curious 😊

Hello again. My last mumsnet post was in 2016 so it's safe to say this is about ttc the second time around.

Pregnancy 1 was rough. I have endometriosis so it was rough start but managed everything naturally at the last gasp. Dh actually got his seamen results the day after the bfp. I was in and out of hospital the word go. Ending up with severe pre-eclampsia at 31 weeks. The emergency c section was done by an inexperienced junior so it was every bit horrible as it sounds. I ended up with an inverted T and a 3cm diagonal cut through my abs. I ended up with ptsd too. I don't really remember the first 6 months of ds life.

After 5 years plus of being very vocal that I was one and done I'm overwhelmed by the feeling of wanting to ttc 2. I think it's a little bio clock at the ripe age of nearly 38. I still take BP meds and I have had adhesions removed from both ovaries since. One was attached to my bowl, bladder and wrapped to the back of my womb. The other was just stuck. 🙃 I don't want to keep trying for forever and I have set a limit. If it doesn't happen within the limited then that's OK too. I don't feel like my family is missing anything but I have an overwhelming feeling that I want to at least try one last time.

Until very recently dh wanted to try again but after hitting 39 (last month) he's been very vocal about not wanting to deal with a new baby at 40. He's not given any new reasons why but repeated all the reasons I have been giving him for the last 2 years. One reason was due to covid I was terrorised of the thought of all the extra care I would need alone. Others are ptsd and the risks of getting pre-eclampsia again. On top of already having a child.

@Pika93 I am so sorry 😢 I used to use easy@home but the last batch I used were awful for indents. Literally the one step cheapies are better (and much cheaper)

Hi ladies. Turns out it was either a chemical or quite possibly the worst false negative j have ever seen as af has just shown her face two days early

@MrsCristianoX I know what you mean. If you don't test to start with then it's usually okay but once you start you don't stop!
Oh I know, off to work today too, the house is still an absolute mess 🙈

@MamaSJ15 and I'm addicted now. It's like preg testing once I start I actually can't stop! I will not be testing early this month.

Yea I think moving house is enough of a stress without ttc thrown into the mix. If it happens it happens xx

@MamaSJ15 I wasn't either but whenever we DTD I couldn't help but check. It's an illness 😂

@MrsCristianoX ah right, think I'm about CD11 ish. Will have to consult the app haha. Not really planning on doing OPK or anything this month, also not gonna try speak to DH about anything. He knows how I feel about having a second child and I know he'd like a sibling for our DD too so i'll just give it a few more days and maybe see what happens! I now know I ovulate later in the cycle anyway so we've still got time to be fair.

@MamaSJ15 CD12 so a normal time for me. Last cycle didn't feel right at all with all the cramping 🤷‍♀️

@MrsCristianoX no, we didn't have time to mess about 😂 it's good! Just got loads to do now to sort it all out!
