@thislittlebird i think I was just happy there was a blast so the rest of the information just went out the window. She’s going to ring me again tomorrow to update on the others if they’re freeze worthy or not so I’ll ask then. yes I had the trigger last Wednesday night. I tested this morning and the tests are still picking it up. Not sure when it’ll be out of the system, probably in a couple of days. OTD is next Friday 7th for me. It’s going to be a long week!
Yes enjoy the moment and take it a day at a time, but looking very promising at the moment. So happy for you X

@thislittlebird also, a line is a line is a line!! It is THERE. It doesnt matter how dark. Dont believe the hype about dye stealers! So over the moon for you, most definitely not fake news!! Also, am 34 (nearly 35, stopped counting at 32....) x

@Tinkerbell098 I’ll order a couple of FRER from Amazon, they didn’t sell them in the shop. It’s so hard to think anything other than this will suddenly end but I’ll take it one day at a time.

Big blob 😂. Well, it all sounds good. When it your OTD? You had a trigger, right?

@thislittlebird did you pick up any FRERs? Can’t wait for your update tomorrow morning. It’s so exciting! Would the clinic do a blood test to confirm? They didn’t grade it as such. All they said was the big blob in the middle (the part that forms the fetus) is 5 out of 5, then the ICM but that forms the placenta is 2/3. So overall called it top quality.

@JeanieJ thanks, I’m trying to remain pragmatic for now, but we’ve overcome the implantation hurdle today.

@beckyCarlos 😭😂 Wagamamas is uniting us all. I can’t believe it and keep thinking it’ll be over tomorrow. I’ll see how each day goes. Started to spot again tonight including a dot of red blood so obviously I’m now paranoid af. The rollercoaster continues! I went to sainsburys and they only had blue so I have more blue for the morning. FRER has always traumatised me with the blank windows I get without fail lol

@beckyCarlos How old are you now? You’re mid 30s in my head. 30 being old at that time is Confused. Maybe they were onto something lol

@Tinkerbell098 did they tell you your grading? Hatching must be 5 or 6 something? The transfers are SO anticlimactic. And clinical. In my second one they were playing terrible music, that was quite off putting. That embie loves onion, I guess!

We walked to sainsburys for more tests, I’ll try in the morning and hope it’s less light. I’m calming down a bit now but I lost it there for a while. Not sure how much sleep tonight will bring. I need to catch up with the thread.

Guys I thinks there’s a second line and I’m freaking out. I don’t know if I’m imagining it, I’ve never seen one. My urine wasn’t strong because it’s 18.54 and I held for 3 hours.

@tinkerbell098 wooooo! Its weird isnt it, almost anticlimactic after all the stress, I felt super fragile for the rest of the day though so spent most of it on the sofa (despite knowing that affects literally nothing lol). Importantly, was it brown, red, or spring onion 🤣

Hi all, thanks so much for the wishes. Transfer was so quick and easy. We have a hatching blast in! May have one to freeze, but they are going to confirm tomorrow. Didn’t go to McDonald’s, but went for a nice breakfast. Baby’s first meal was eggs Benedict.Then, things started to get weird. Just had the smell of raw onion off my husbands side salad he had with his eggs and I really craved it! I absolutely hate raw onion! How strange! What is this embaby turning me into haha!

@thislittlebird yey to no AF! What did you decide in the end? Test tonight or tomorrow? Sending you all the luck in the world XX

@thislittlebird I tested at night, and then again the following morning. But there was definitely a line in the evening, no holding or anything, and I had 2l of water in the day as usual.

I've got a low reserve and I don't respond well to stims. Double whammy of useless. Ironically if my husbands semen analysis were normal we'd probably have two kids by now. We're strangely incompatible when it comes to fertility lol. My mum started peri about 46-48 ish (she had me 'late' for the time at 30) and my grandma had twins at my age... knowing my luck my paltry reserve will limp on into my late 40s early 50s 🤣

@beckyCarlos I'm not sure, I'm not a testing expert and don't want a duff result so in my head I would always test with FMU but maybe I need to consider tomorrow evening or today. How did you find testing when you got a bfp? Did it work at any time of day or did you have to prepare/hold etc?

It's frustrating because 6 or 8 is a good amount but it doesn't seem to translate into harvested eggs for you and they don't seem to know why?

Early menopause is an interesting topic we don't discuss a lot here, but it was a big fear of mine in my early 30s before we started trying at 36. My mum claims hers was early, she had me at 36 and seems to think that only a couple of years later she was peri. I kept going to the doctors and making them run tests when I was 33-35, at the time I didn't know what they were running but now I know it would be LH/FSH. They would tell me it was fine, but I suppose it was more than fine since my LH and FSH are 1 point something and I have a lot of follicles. So I don't know what that means for me, I assumed I'd be like my mother but maybe I didn't get that side of things from her. I think she might misremember a little but I don't think she'd misremember 38 as 46 or 48, for example. I'd have been 10 or 12 by then lol. I also look quite young, most people do not think I'm nearly 40 so I guess it could be a genetics thing from my dad's side, but I don't know much about him/his family, he died when I was young.

@thislittlebird ooh thats a tough one. Are you going to wait until you get home?! Or even Friday?! I am honestly in awe of you! Yeah my AMH is 2 and the best AFC I've had is 8 (six normal sized and two tiny (i know, tiny for antral follicles must be miniscule). But all the counts before that were 4. Hello super early menopause another thing to look forward to 🙄😂 hopefully DE are our answer!

@beckyCarlos OTD is tomorrow. I'm torn tbh, have a leaving lunch at work tomorrow so can't wfh all day, plus I'm expecting good or bad job news and I don't know if testing tomorrow and possibly getting a bfn is a good plan for the day.

It's good that you've had time to come to terms with it all. My friend did DE and she has twins now, if you know DOR is your main issues it's a good option. Hopefully the review will be helpful and they'll clarify things for you further.

Haha god only knows. In reality its a 'this is what went wrong with this cycle' which we all already know (my ovaries have no reserves). So I imagine shes going to say exactly that, and refer us to the egg donation team if we want (we do want, I think my husband thinks I'm mad because I'm doing really well, but I've been preparing for this since our first consultation once the Dr explained what all the results meant so really I've had a year to come to terms with it...)

@beckyCarlos i am twitchy af. No Af yet, but probably on too much progesterone for it anyway, and no migraine, but they’ve been better the last month or two anyway, so I’m just counting down to test day. I don’t want to do it 😭

I tried to explain to my husband that this is the only time I can believe it might have worked, you all know what I mean.

What are they reviewing for you today?
