@Tinkerbell098 next steps seems to be a 7 week scan and a £200 charge for Cyclogest. Can’t remember if I’ve mentioned my clinic’s insistence I owe them money and my insistence that I don’t. They think I’m a private patient now and I don’t think I am, I had funding for 1 fresh and 2 frozen transfers. I’ve had 3 frozen. Surely all I owe is the cost of a thaw and freeze? The process is the same. I need to try to get it resolved but despite various conversations I’m still receiving bills. I need the Cyclogest, but I have enough to get through a while longer.

@beckyCarlos you had an ivf experienced instructor?! Amazing

I’ll see how tomorrow goes, my migraine is gone/going but I feel nervous about testing again. Migraine isn’t a good sign for me normally.

@thislittlebird I still have everything crossed for you, hope you're starting to feel better x x
@tinkerbell098 @99pctpractice thank you 🥰 I've spent the last hour driving round proving to myself I can do it without a copilot lol. I got my minor at the end because I couldn't work out how to correct my oversteer in a reverse bay park, figured I was best going forward and straightening then back. I told my instructor noone likes a showoff 🤣 I also happy cried and told him its the best thing thats happened since May lol (hes lovely, and knows about the IVF, and has had IVF, so luckily he wasnt surprised lol)

99pctpractice · 30/09/2022 14:36

@Tinkerbell098 hopefully too early to be a sign of anything! There are so many hormones floating around it's hard to know what causes what. I didn't get sore boobs from cyclogest and lubion on my previous cycles but at Argc where I was taking 3x lubion and 6x cyclogest per day I had sore boobs! I never get sore boobs usually except when I had a coil fitted and when I have been pregnant.... I think that can be very variable though!

@thislittlebird hopefully it's a pregnancy migraine rather than anything else 🤞🤞🤞

@beckyCarlos congrats!! That's amazing! I failed 3 times and I'm pretty sure I got more than one minor fault even when I passed 🤣🤣🤣

Tinkerbell098 · 30/09/2022 13:41

@thislittlebird thanks TWW is the worst! Aww hope the migraine eases soon and AF stays away. Have you not heard back from the clinic at all about next steps?

@beckyCarlos woo! That's amazing! Well done you !!!

thislittlebird · 30/09/2022 12:42

@Tinkerbell098 there doesn’t seem much rhyme or reason to the symptoms in my experience. My boobs are unchanged, this was the only cycle they weren’t sore. I only rarely get sore boobs naturally.

@beckyCarlos unfortunately not, I’m in the grips of a horrendous migraine at present. Exactly 2 weeks after my ovulation one. I was convince I ovulated later than that test implied so maybe I did. Either way, it’s not reassuring me to be getting migraines. No spotting today, didn’t do a test because I’ve been in bed since I got home from work last night.

Congrats on the driving test past! I think I passed first with 2 minors, but that was after a lot of lessons because I’m a questionable driver lol.

@tinkerbell098 I didnt have any soreness on Meriofert and Buserelin the first round (did have progesterone that round), but I had meriofert and later Fyramadel and Ovaleap this round (and no progesterone at all, didnt make it that far 🤣) and my boobs have been sore for what feels like eternity!

In other news...I passed my driving test today! First time. 1 minor. Over the moon!

Tinkerbell098 · 30/09/2022 11:38

@beckyCarlos thanks :) I now wonder if the sore boobs was a side effect of Ovitrelle and not Cyclogest as the trigger seems to have started to fade away now (I've tested this morning). The worry never ends! This is the worst!

@thislittlebird how are you today?

beckyCarlos · 30/09/2022 09:05

@tinkerbell098 lol I was wondering if it was a different pronunciation of girls! I have no advice, juat a big hug, and I'll mention again that I without fail get sore boobs pre period, but I didnt ok cyclogest, it seems the drugs to work, but in bery mysterious ways! Everything crossed for you

@thislittlebird congratulations on the jobs!! Hope youre doing ok this morning, and the headache held off x x x

Tinkerbell098 · 30/09/2022 08:05

Girls not giles 🤦‍♀️**

Tinkerbell098 · 30/09/2022 08:05

Giles I’m panicking. I had really sore boobs since day one of taking cyclogest. Suddenly this morning, the soreness has gone and they are back to normal. This usually happens on a normal cycle a few days before AF arrives. Just worrying thinking it’s failed to implant and now the body is preparing to shed the lining.

thislittlebird · 29/09/2022 23:14

@Tinkerbell098 yeah I think it’s fine, I was just panicking earlier

@99pctpractice I thought it probably was but my brain went into overdrive. keep your limbs crossed, my migraine seems to be here so I’m worried this won’t last with my light tests and now this. I guess if it is, at least we know I can achieve implantation.

OP posts:
99pctpractice · 29/09/2022 18:28

@thislittlebird woo woo!!!! I'm so excited for you!! So many limbs crossed that this is it!!
Yes, an internal role move is definitely continuous employment. And you don't have to tell them for ages - and could realistically say you didn't know until after you took the role because loads of people wouldn't know by now!

@Tinkerbell098 congrats on a great transfer!! Lucky embaby to get a good brekkie!!!

Tinkerbell098 · 29/09/2022 12:22

@thislittlebird congratulations on the jobs. That’s great news! Amazing week for you, definitely due a celebration. I would think so, it’ll surely be continuous employment.

thislittlebird · 29/09/2022 11:46

Taking internal roles when knowingly pregnant is continuous employment, right? That’s ok? Suddenly occurred to me after the call about the job

thislittlebird · 29/09/2022 11:43

I now have two job offers and I’m losing my mind lol. Jobs and positive tests are like buses, it seems!

I’m excited for the Thai and I think your test line advice is probably sound @beckyCarlos

OP posts:
Tinkerbell098 · 29/09/2022 10:53

@thislittlebird i could do with some Thai now. Enjoy your lunch ❤️

beckyCarlos · 29/09/2022 10:31

@thislittlebird I had to put a stop to testing because it was driving me insane comparing lines and worrying about them. I think thai at least once a week sounds incredibly sensible, and delicious!

thislittlebird · 29/09/2022 10:12

Thanks - I’m not exactly thrilled, more tentative I suppose. The light lines and general ivf anxiety will keep me very un-excited lol.

@Tinkerbell098 I’ve emailed them, not heard back yet but I asked if they do tests

@beckyCarlos mine haven’t replied 😂. They are not bothered. It really is all very strange. On the plus side im going for thai food at lunch, maybe I can entice the embryo to hang around again.

@thislittlebird my clinic were decidedely nonplussed when I called 🤣 I was so excited and they basically couldnt have cared less. The nurse said 'ok, so what are you calling for?' And I said '...well...it says to call? So I am' 🙈 she then said 'ok, so do you want to book a viability scan?' And I'm like '..I guess so???'. Honestly. I wanted a fanfare lol. Keep taking thst progesterone! X

magnoliasinbloom · 29/09/2022 07:52

Congrats @thislittlebird - I'm thrilled for you :) Wishing you all the luck xxx

Tinkerbell098 · 29/09/2022 07:31

@thislittlebird for me, they said they’ll arrange a blood test the week after and then book a scan a couple of weeks later. Might be the same for you?

thislittlebird · 29/09/2022 07:21

@Tinkerbell098 i have some arriving today! I’ve read a few threads where it’s sometimes just light lines and it’s turned out ok, seen a few people say FET embryos can be late/slow implanters so hopefully it’s just my 4BB being lazy. I’ve notified the clinic, I have no idea what they do now. It’s taken 3 years to get a line and now I’m unclear what happens.

OP posts:
Tinkerbell098 · 29/09/2022 07:11

@thislittlebird definitely get some FRERs. The digital is pretty accurate I’ve heard and if that’s picking it up, it should be real. Don’t worry too much about the line intensity. As Becky said a line is a line!

thislittlebird · 29/09/2022 06:07

Thanks @Beyondshit, hope you’re ok, I know you’re having a tough time.

So this morning my Clear Blue test is not very dark at all, so that’s a bit concerning that it’s barely darker than last night. I hope I’m not having a chemical. The digital says 1-2 weeks pregnant, which is apparently an accurate reading for what doctors would call 4 weeks with CB.

@ththislittlebird oh em gee. Popped back to see you got on (can't really deal with me right now). Amazing! Wishing you all of the luck xx
