@99pctpractice I don't test until the 9th. I would have tested this morning but I don't have any tests 😂 they are coming on Sunday

My AF would be due tomorrow so I'm convinced it's coming

@beckyCarlos my AF would be due now so I'm getting myself into a mess. In the office and had to go to the toilet to have a cry

@Tillybabs I definitely had "loose stools" (so gross, sorry) from the cyclogest. I asked to go on lubion in the morning so I don't have to spend the day at work running to the toilet....still a way to go til your otd so hopefully should be a bit soon for af symptoms?

My otd is 11th I think (or 12th) but I'm itching to test already (it's been the longest 5 days post-transfer ever...) so there's no way I'm going to last that long!!!

@tillybabs aw love, hope you're ok! I've only had a fresh transfer, but I did get period type cramps and felt shocking around the time my period was due (so I caved and tested early and got my positive, but I got myself so worked up I just had to know) although weirdly I didn't have sore boobs, and they're my go to for knowing its on its way (but I've seen so many others say the peogesterone gave them really bad sore boobs) x

Did anyone get diarrhoea and nausea post FET? I was constipated for a couple of days and then yesterday it all came out. Sorry TMI
I'm getting AF type feelings and convinced it hasn't worked. I don't test until the 9th

@99pctpractice omg! Thats amazing!! Have everything crossed for this one being the one, but to have others in the freezer is amazing as well 🥰 hope you've had a relaxing afternoon and have something nice planned for tomorrow x x (laying on the sofa under blanket 100% counts as nice btw, doesnt have to be 'exciting' x)

So they transferred a 4aa and we have 3 (mixed grades) in the freezer! So high drop off at fertilisation but the ones that made it seem to have been fighters. It was really weird not having an inkling of the outcome until about 5 mins until transfer. And I don't know what others experiences have been like and maybe it's because it's different with a fet, but it felt very clinical. So we now have all fingers crossed that this will be our lucky break 🤞🤞🤞

@Tinkerbell098 that really does suck. I hope you can find some answers soon and not be stuck in limbo for much longer.

@99pctpractice that is really bizarre that they haven't given an update. I guess if it was bad news they would say? Fingers crossed for you today.

Even if you don't have a full bladder they will wait. I emptied mine 3 times before they could transfer yesterday 🙈 and even when they did it I was bursting to go.

@beckyCarlos yea I called the clinic and they said it's normal. It was a very small amount and there was no more after that.

Every little twinge now I'm thinking is it implantation. This is going to be a long 2ww

@tillybabs i had some spotting after my transfer and some bright red blood the next day, I didnt call my clinic but I did go for acupuncture and the said its totally normal 😊

@99pctpractice hope youre doing as ok as you can be. Not that theres a hierarchy but pancreatic cancer is so quick and awful. Sending lots of hugs. X x x Just seen your embryo update! Hope you get more info when you get there! That is not a lot of info my clinic do an overnight fertilisation update, nothing on say 3, but they do call day 4 and update you and schedule your transfer for day 5, I cant rememeber if they call on day 5 as well to reconfim you can come and there hasnt been a disaster overnight (they did for me but I only had one so it might be different if you have more than one, and you have the time lapse imaging etc, theyre probs more confident in those embryos! They didnt time lapse mine because it was a loner!)

@tinkerbell098 does that mean its not an ectopic? So much of this process is grey and not black and white, especially when its going 'wrong' and its awful. Second 99s suggestion for acupuncture, if nothing else it might be calming for you x x x

Hi @Tinkerbell098 that really sucks, I'm sorry. Hopefully the bleed starts soon. I had acupuncture after I found out my hcg had stopped rising and bled a couple of days later - difficult to know if it helped or if it was going to happen anyway.

@Tillybabs I hope this is the one for you!! All fingers crossed 🤞 if they had difficulty getting the catheter in then I guess that could cause the bleeding?

I'm hopefully on track for transfer today. I find the comms from this clinic very weird: no 3 day update and you only get a call the morning of transfer if it's bad news. So I have no idea what the status or quality or quantity of embryos other than that there must be at least one! Not sure if I have just had very communicative clinics before so have been spoiled, but it feels odd to me to be so uninformed and to have had so little chance to discuss things with the embryologists in advance. I also think the cyclogest has given me the sh**s (sorry, tmi), so I'm hoping that I can hold off from going to the loo long enough to have a full bladder for transfer.......I'm def going to ask to move to lubion because I can't deal with 2 more weeks of this!!

@Tillybabs congrats on being PUPO!! Sorry it wasn’t a smooth transfer day but got there in the end! Hope you can keep yourself busy for the next couple of weeks without driving yourself crazy with symptom spotting.

@99pctpractice so sorry about your friend. That’s really sad. Any update on your eggs?

I had my appointment at EPU on Thursday and of course the scan didn’t show anything. Said my ovaries weee enlarged due to ivf stims and I’ve also developed two cysts, also due to ivf stims. Weirdly my lining has gotten thicker since Sunday’s scan despite me stopping cyclogest. They did bloods and my hCG is staying pretty static at 70 so not falling. The fact that I haven’t bled yet is really puzzling them. They said it’s now a waiting game so they’re doing more bloods on Monday. I really want this over now so I can move on. Hate being stuck no where it’s very emotionally draining!

@Tillybabs catheter insertion can definitely cause a little bleeding through irritation and minor damage (nothing to worry about). Best of luck with this transfer x

Had my transfer this morning. It was not a smooth ride lol

My bladder wasn't full so I had to drink water and then they weren't sure if they could see an embryo sac so asked if we've had unprotected sex which we had as no one said not to and I didn't think of that tbh. It's probably my adenomyosis and not an embryo sac.

So I had to test. It was negative although Im 5dpo so they decided to go ahead but I kept bursting to go wee so had to wait a while longer.

They had trouble getting the catheter in at first and I was bursting to go toilet.

I've noticed a small amount of blood. Is this normal?

Of course I googled and now I'm stressing about whether there was blood on the catheter

@99pctpractice I'm ok and trying not to think about it too much. I've started getting very small cramps and worrying about those but I've been told it's normal when talking oestrogen and progesterone.

I hope you get to transfer 🙏🏽

My pal who had pancreatic cancer died last night 😢 just a couple of months since his diagnosis - he didn't even get to chemo because he deteriorated so rapidly. it was clear that he was declining but it's still achingly sad. 💔 I'm really hoping that we have an embryo to transfer on Saturday because it's all felt like a bit of a succession of bad news lately...

Sorry I haven't been on the thread much recently ladies. I have had a lot going on including working very long hours and an MRI on my brain and spine which thankfully came back all OK 🙌

After my botched IVF round I now have the protocol for the next round through. I'll be starting the Northisterone on 13th Nov, start stimming on 1st Dec and should be doing the egg retrieval around the 14th Dec.

If I have any good Blasts (I only had one last time) then we'll be looking to fresh transfer w/c 19th Dec... Right before Christmas.

If I get to transfer something then I'll be on my best behaviour over Xmas 😇 and test day will be NYE 😵‍💫 but if I get no blasts then I might check out of Xmas 😓

We found out all 12 eggs survived the thaw but we only had a 50% fertilisation rate...after getting fertilisation rates of 90/100% with my own eggs, I'm now not feeling optimistic! If we're lucky we might get one embryo at the end of this....and then there's no guarantee that it'll be viable. Having already discovered that ivf is not the magic ticket to getting a baby, I feel like I should have been prepared that donor still might not result in a baby, but I'm still a bit floored....

@beckyCarlos better in some ways because the pressure is off me personally (phew), but still nerve racking because we have no idea how things will progress.....it felt weird to wave my oh off this morning and not have to do anything myself...the donor has proven fertility, but was 35 so at the older end of donor age at the time of donation, so we can only hope she still had some good eggs!!

Oooh so they didnt tell you that today? Does it feel super different beauase theyre not your eggs or is it still the all consuming "oh my god what is happening"?
