Starting a new thread for a bit of hopefulness 🤞

I'm TTC #1 following a MMC in October and another one in June. Both around 10.5-11.5 weeks.

Really hoping this is our month. August conception worked last year, even though it ended a few months later 🥺

I'm CD8 now and tend to ovulate CD15/16 so will be testing or getting my period around 10/11 September.

Who's with me? 💕

🤞 September BFP 🌈
B93 · 06/09/2022 17:06

@girlshelpxx 😢 hoping you get your BFP soon.

@MapleSyrup2112 looks positive to me too. Have you tried a different test?

@lottieb92 my DD is 6. We decided to give it a year. We have tried a few times since DD but a few losses. Hoping that this is the month after early miscarriage in May/June. I am 4dpo 🤞🏼🙏🏻🍀

lottieb92 · 06/09/2022 16:58

@MapleSyrup2112 fingers crossed you get what you wanted today 🥰

hi everyone, it’s my 13th cycle (weep) it kills me how long it has taken this much time. First born is 7 next week! As young parents initially we had been waiting until certain milestones, job progression, house moves until we tried again, but now it’s taking a lot longer than we ever expected. But optimistic that we’ve managed it once 🤍
I’ve actually got a GP appointment booked to discuss next steps but really hope we make a miracle this month anyway!

I am only 2DPO and can sense it’s going to be a loooong wait. This is a return to mums net and it feels nice to be back!

MapleSyrup2112 · 05/09/2022 21:18

Yes straight away but just so nervous with it being a sainsburys
going to retest in morning though see what we get

Aimee1995 · 05/09/2022 21:15

@MapleSyrup2112 looks positive to me, did it come up within the time?

MapleSyrup2112 · 05/09/2022 20:57

Can anyone confirm this please? I’m sick of looking at it ahahah. It’s a sainsburys and I know they’re not very reliable!!

girlshelpxx · 05/09/2022 20:54

I did retest, and i got another faint line but lighter than yesterday's test :( i also started heavily bleeding, i’m so confused :( i’m suspicious of a chemical pregnancy :( hopefully next time 💖🤞

B93 · 05/09/2022 19:39

Did you retest this morning @girlshelpxx?

Ellbelll · 04/09/2022 16:00

@girlshelpxx i can see it! Fingers crossed for tomorrow!! Make sure you let us know 🤞🏻🥰 x

Shefliesonherownwings · 04/09/2022 15:33

@girlshelpxx I can definitely see a line in one of the pictures, I could see it even without clicking on the pic which I think is a good sign. See how it looks tomorrow, best of luck.

B93 · 04/09/2022 12:06

@girlshelpxx that sounds like a messy job 🙈I can honestly say I have not done that… yet 😂

Keep us posted 🤞🏼🙏🏻🍀

girlshelpxx · 04/09/2022 11:54

It's a FRER test i just pulled it apart because i thought i was going crazy 🤣 i will re-test tomorrow morning!

B93 · 04/09/2022 11:42

I have decided there is no rhyme or reason to my body. I occasionally get nauseous when I am due my period but not every time. Sometimes I spot a few days before sometimes not. I have been fairly regular for the last year and a half but I have been months without one too.

@girlshelpxx I have never seen those tests before. I can definitely see a faint line. Have you tried a different test? Or wait a few days and it should get darker as your HCG rises. Hoping this is you BFP 🤞🏼🙏🏻🍀

ChloeN · 04/09/2022 11:27

@Presently83 yes surely the progesterone supplements would give you the symptoms much worse than usual!
How did you know you had low progesterone? I do spot some months 1 day before my period is due and I’d read somewhere that could be a sign!

girlshelpxx · 04/09/2022 09:44

Hiyaa, opinions on this test i took last night? i’m not too sure about colour but the line definitely came up within a minute but it is very faint! period is due in 2 days. do you see it? x

@Presently83 I used to get sore boobs but that's stopped in recent times. Not sure why. I'm not on any meds and haven't been on contraceptives for over 12 years so wouldn't be that. I wonder if it is to do with age? I'm 38 now.

Presently83 · 04/09/2022 09:39

@ChloeN so weird isn't it?! I'm annoyed my body isn't as predictable as it used to be. Makes me worried I'm not producing enough progesterone, but then I'm taking the progesterone supplements which surely would produce symptoms too?! So hard not to lose your mind in the TWW after loss, isn't it?

ChloeN · 04/09/2022 08:18

@Presently83 i had a mmc end of July and have just finished my first period, I didn’t get sore boobs either! I was so confused why as I normally always do, must be something to do with changing hormones?

Cegbee · 04/09/2022 07:51

@B93 I have had really bad ovulation pains since my MMC in march, to the point I initially thought I was coming on after my D&C but I was actually ovulating, I get awful cramps and feel really bloated for a day.

@Presently83 I can't think why that would be - weird! Always unnerving when things change with your cycle and you can't work out why x

Presently83 · 04/09/2022 06:42

I'm 7/8DPO and don't feel any different at all.

One weird thing has happened since the D&C for the MMC in June: I no longer get sore boobs before my period. It's annoying because they appeared like clockwork few days before and if I WAS pregnant they didn't hurt, which was my first clue. But they no longer get sore at all. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm also taking progesterone just in case i am pregnant and they're not giving me any of the usual side effects either. Im so confused.

Congratulations 🎊 1@gretathebetter !

I'm a week into my TWW. Been having light cramps and a bit of back ache but nothing unusual if I were to be getting up to my period. After talking with my partner recently, if we don't succeed this time, we are going to stop trying but not preventing. We will work on getting his health up then try again in the new year. Can't say I'm not slightly upset as we have been together 13 years come Novmeber and it feels I've been waiting majority of them for this moment x

B93 · 03/09/2022 14:29

I believe I ovulated between 31st Aug and 2nd Sept. Had strong positive ovulation tests on the 31st Aug and 1st Sept. Slightly fainter today but had lower back ache last night. Never really noticed ovulation symptoms before. But did Google it and came up as a symptom.

Does anyone else get any symptoms of ovulation? My temperature was slightly higher this morning 36.9. But I haven’t been religiously checking this.

So I guess I am joining the 2WW club. I am not going to test until at least
the 16th September… I am due to go out that night as well so if I don’t get a BFP then at least I can have a gin. If I do I will happily assign myself as the designated driver 🙈

🤞🏼🙏🏻🍀

Ellbelll · 02/09/2022 19:44

Hey guys! I’m 4dpo. I hate this wait, I feel like I’m constantly thinking about it. So very overwhelming.. I can’t help but feel like I’m going to be devastated and get a bfn :/ wish I wouldn’t obsess so much!

Cegbee · 01/09/2022 21:12

I'm just starting 2WW- 2DPO today. Really going to try not to test early this month because so fed up with seeing BFNs. Last month I felt really nauseas during TWW which made me test early- so hard! Really hope we see some more BFPs on this thread soon but definitely not expecting it myself.
