Starting a new thread for a bit of hopefulness 🤞

I'm TTC #1 following a MMC in October and another one in June. Both around 10.5-11.5 weeks.

Really hoping this is our month. August conception worked last year, even though it ended a few months later 🥺

I'm CD8 now and tend to ovulate CD15/16 so will be testing or getting my period around 10/11 September.

Who's with me? 💕

@Presently83 so sorry they’re not progressing! My sisters always stayed very pale until she was 2 weeks late!
but she repeated with cheapies every 2-3 days in the end as she was also concerned due to previous losses.

so you aren’t alone hold the faith. And maybe see if you can wait a further 48hrs before the next one?

my GP was epic (I feel a weight off and hope that does wonders for my TTC mind!) I have only booked bloods and some test for husband to get the ball rolling she said in the meantime, relax, don’t use ovulation kits just DTD every 2-3 days 😛
she had been in the same position and I just signed so much relief!

anotherscroller · 10/09/2022 12:09

@Presently83 so sorry for how stressful that must be. Is there anything you can do at the weekend to make you feel better? I suppose all you can do it just wait and keep testing. Crossing everything for you.

Janch13 · 10/09/2022 11:33

Can I join?

Just got a BFP this morning! 2nd cycle of trying, 2nd DC.

Havent told DH as we have a super busy weekend with our DC1 birthday party. Also going on holiday next week so I might wait to tell him then!

Im so happy to be pregnant again and according to my app baby will be due around my birthday next year.

Presently83 · 10/09/2022 11:16

@B93 the first and second were with CB early detection and ok but faint. Third and fourth (yesterday and today) were with FRERs and super faint. I'm now on CD29 so period was due yesterday or day before but have been taking progesterone so it will be a bit delayed. Don't feel very positive about this at all 😭 Really wanted the May baby I lost last year 😔

@Presently83 Have they all been faint lines? Have you tried different brands? It is still a few days early… even some early detection tests say best results after missed period. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼🙏🏻🍀

Jennifer89 · 10/09/2022 09:46

Fingers crossed ladies!

Presently83 · 10/09/2022 09:44

@B93 about 12DPO according to my app. Positive test for four days in a row but so pale. Line today still extremely faint. ☹️

Aww @Cegbee im so sorry to hear that.. sending baby dust to you for this month xx

Cegbee · 09/09/2022 21:06

Hi @Lollywhite, I'm in same boat as you today. Also feeling v disheartened. My last pregnancy though I tested negative at 10DPO and had faint positive at 11DPO. It ended in MC but that was chromosomal reasons so nothing to do with implantation etc good luck!

Lollywhite · 09/09/2022 21:00

Hi everyone

I’m 10 Dpo today and tested this morning to get a BFN - feeling very disheartened.. I know it’s still early but can’t help but obsess over the next few days..

has anyone else went on to get a BFP after initially getting BFN? AF Due on wed so clinging to hope xx

B93 · 09/09/2022 20:35

@Aimee1995 Only time will tell. Hopefully you get your BFP. We seem to be having plenty of positive news on this thread so fingers crossed for you too.

@Presently83 sorry must have missed your last post. How many dpo are you now?

I had bloods done Tuesday. They called today to say I have good progesterone levels which means I ovulated. Just another week of my 2WW to go. It could be diluted like you said or just early still.

🤞🏼🙏🏻🍀

Aimee1995 · 09/09/2022 20:28

@B93 I could I suppose but I had a peak OPK that lasted 2 days 11 days ago so I don't think it could have been much earlier if they were correct. I don't temp though as it stresses me out!

B93 · 09/09/2022 20:25

@MapleSyrup2112 with my daughter it wasn’t watery almost resembled a period. I didn’t actually test until a few weeks after when I could y stop being sick. I had light bleeding another 2-3 times before 12 weeks. I was in Spain with on bleed. Even with the language barrier I was scanned within 40 minutes. They were amazing. Printed me scan pictures and rather than wait to show proof of medical insurance told me not to worry and go back to the villa and rest. Also gave us a direct line to call back to them if we had any concerns.

With my last pregnancy which resulted in early miscarriage I was bleeding
lightly (pink in colour) but enough to wear a pad. This lasted two weeks before the GP became concerned - where I live you have to be referred to EPU by your GP. I had bloods two days apart. My first was low HCG levels so knew what was coming my second showed dropping. I then had a period type bleed and took a couple of weeks to get a negative pregnancy test. However when I had my ectopic I didn’t bleed at all.

There is no rhyme or reason to pregnancy. Some people bleed throughout. Ask your GP for repeat bloods to check levels are rising.

@Aimee1995 could you have ovulated earlier than you thought?

Aimee1995 · 09/09/2022 19:12

Hi everyone. I am 8dpo (ish) today and had bright pink spotting at 4dpo (ish). To me that seems super early for implantation but nit sure why else I would have had this?
This morning I woke up to nearly be sick at 5am and am off food, just have no appetite. I think it's all in my head because surely its still too early to have symptoms?

Presently83 · 09/09/2022 16:52

@MapleSyrup2112 oh love I'm so sorry you're feeling like this.

Try not to worry, it could be as simple as implantation bleeding, or general spotting which lots of pregnancies have. Crossing everything for you.

EPU are generally useless and tell you not to come in because a) they don't want people to come in because they're busy and b) because they tend not to able to see anything on a scan for 6 weeks. You could pay to have your bloods tested privately but tbh I did that for the last pregnancy and it was fucking horrendous paying all that money waiting for calls only to be told I just had to wait when numbers started plateauing.

I did another test today (FRER - earlier ones were CB early response) and the line is so faint as to be barely there. It was at 4pm and I have drunk loads today so could be diluted, but still worried I'm having a chemical now. Ugh. Did have some mega light pink spotting two days ago, just once when I wiped, so just not sure what to think. It's all so hard. Hoping hard for all of us xxx

@B93 that’s a good idea, I’m thinking about doing the same

MapleSyrup2112 · 09/09/2022 10:21

@B93 was the blood watery for you? Im getting nowhere with the EPU even after saying about the NICE guidelines. Im so fed up. I even made it sound worse than it is and they still won’t see me! I woke up for a wee at 4am which isn’t like me and then numpty I am decided to do a reassurance test at 8 but then realised it wasn’t FMU. I’ve just had enough. I keep telling them how worried I am and that it would be my 2nd miscarriage in a row and she just says sorry there’s nothing we can do 😭

lottieb92 · 09/09/2022 09:55

5 dpo and have GP for first time tonight as we’re nearing 14 month mark!

no idea what to expect but hoping for a miracle next week of course 🤣 I hate being a hassle and dread bad news…

stay strong everyone in TWW x

B93 · 08/09/2022 21:44

@anotherscroller I am about 6dpo. I am holding out until the 16th September. Which will be about 14dpo. Well I am going to try and resist until then 🤞🏼🙏🏻🍀

@MapleSyrup2112 I had bleeding in early pregnancy with my daughter. I though implantation bleeding was my period - although at the time I didn’t have regular period and a mix of light, heavy and anything in between.

But at the same time I know what you are going through, I have had a few losses too. It’s the unknown. Thinking of you. Keep us posted.

Bluejeanbaby91 · 08/09/2022 20:16

@MapleSyrup2112 so sorry to hear that you've got some bleeding.

When I had my MC I started bleeding and called early pregnancy and they were absolutely useless. They gave me an appointment to come in for a scan 11 days away from when I was calling them, which needless to say was far to long to wait for someone so worried - it was all I was thinking about.

I took a clear blue digi and it said 1-2 weeks, when I was 8 weeks pregnant, and that's when I knew for sure I was miss carrying as the hcg levels had dropped so much.

I really hope all is well as for some people a bleed can be totally normal. Little one might just be getting nice and comfy in there.

Best of luck x

MapleSyrup2112 · 08/09/2022 09:46

I got my BFP on Monday. I’ve had brown spotting when I wipe for a few days. It’s now turned reddish pink and a bit more when I wipe as well as niggling pain. I phoned the Early Pregnancy Unit at my hospital and the midwife said that it’s nothing to be concerned about but I had a miscarriage a year ago tomorrow and it’s scaring me. Has anyone experienced this and had a healthy pregnancy 😭😭😭

anotherscroller · 08/09/2022 08:09

Hiya is anyone else 5DPO? If so are you testing on Sunday (8DPO) or on Tuesday (10DPO) or later?

my CM is a bit weird, getting sticky and creamy on some days

@Presently83 such fab news, tentative congratulations 🎈

Ellbelll · 07/09/2022 21:23

Omg this thread is so lucky!!! Massive congratulations to everyone that has got a BFP!!! ❤️ Here’s to the may babies ! 🥰

B93 · 07/09/2022 18:13
