Hello all,

I am 33 and have a 5yo who we conceived naturally after 9m of trying. Have been trying for baby #2 for almost 3years now. After trying a year I was diagnosed with pcos. Since then I have been given clomid (6 unsuccessful rounds) and now on my first cycle of letrazole.

I am feeling really alone in all of this and losing hope. I have a supportive family and husband and friends but would love to chat to others in a similar position for support and understanding. So please comment if you would like this support too 💕

Got the static today 🤞🏽🤞🏽 partner is happy with all the extra bedroom activities 😂 lets hope it pays off

MrsMamaD · 23/08/2022 10:30

Eeeek @Mousey6! I've got EVERYTHING crossed for you! Let's hope it's sticky 🤞🏼xx

Roro1423 · 23/08/2022 09:14

@MrsMamaD i know right, my mother doesnt even trust HPT because she never used them. They had to wait for missed AF to know for sure. she can easily count how far along you are and the due date by just looking at your belly its crazy. Sorry you gonna have to wait that long for beta. As long as the tests are still positive then we good 😉.
@Mousey6 wow thats amazing, a line is a line and i hope its the start of your positive. M so exited for you✨

Mousey6 · 23/08/2022 08:41

I’ve done a frer this morning and have a very faint line! Af due tomorrow so will be retesting again on Thursday. If it was my bfp I’d be due 3 may, but I know that I would be delivering earlier than this, so more like mid April!

Mousey6 · 22/08/2022 22:06

@MrsMamaD still no BFP. I’ve been getting cramps again and worried that it’s af coming. I’ve also still got the bloating and odd waves of nausea and random hot flushes too. I just have a feeling that I’m going to be disappointed this month x

MrsMamaD · 22/08/2022 21:47

@Roro1423 it's so easy to look into absolutely everything and think it's a sign. I almost envy the days of our parents where home pregnancy tests were barely even a thing and you had to wait until you were two weeks late for a doctor's one (well, that's what my mum said anyway!) It supposedly weeded out a lot of CPs and early MCs.
My doctor's office don't do Betas, they said a home pregnancy test is just as sensitive if not more so, than anything of theirs and if you get two lines then you're pregnant 🤦🏼‍♀️. They only offer betas to people already seeking fertility treatment and since I wasn't quite at that point yet, they aren't going to entertain my anxiety. No wonder our local EPAU is so busy! I'm positive it's because they don't want to be "wasting time" with MCs. It's damn near impossible to get an appointment with my surgery at the moment anyway, I had to wait almost a month for an appointment with the nurse last month, so ridiculous!

Roro1423 · 22/08/2022 19:15

@Dimps92 you are not alone and this journey can be draining sometimes. I got my fingers crossed for you to get that static smiley face soon 🤞

@MrsMamaD m glad the nausea has eased a bit. i cant trust my body anymore, i normally don't get crazy pms symptoms, after i got BFN this morning i decided that m not gonna test anymore. Then i started getting these sharp stabbing pain on the right side of my uterus when i was at work and thought oh that's weird maybe there's still hope lol but i know its probably my body getting ready for AF. Have you gone for a beta yet?

MrsMamaD · 22/08/2022 17:05

Hi @Dimps92 welcome! You are in right place, we've all been ttcing for what feels like forever lol! Conceive plus has got all the good stuff in it so fingers crossed for you!

@Roro1423 oh no, sorry you got another BFN, good idea to step away from the tests for a bit, I'm positive they do more harm than good. Do you normally get AF symptoms? I'm normally an absolute rage queen (for my sins) and the lack of it this month is probably my biggest hint 😂 the nausea is still there but thankfully it's mild 🤞🏼

@Mousey6 how are you feeling today?

I'm apparently 5w2 on my app but the NHS website has me at 4weeks?! How are they a week off? EDD is between 22 - 26 April 😬

Xx

Dimps92 · 22/08/2022 16:21

Month 8 of ttc here we come! Currently having my flashing smileys with the clearblue digital tests and started taking conceive plus ovulation support to help with my ovulation so hopefully this months the month! Got more bloods the beginning of next week to test my progesterone as last months were a fail! Surprisingly AF came 3 days earlier than we predicted so bloods didnt catch the hormone levels!!!
It can be so deflating in the tww!!
Good luck all 🍀

Roro1423 · 22/08/2022 10:20

Hi ladies 🤗
I've been offline for minute now and i hope everyone is doing well. 11dpo today ans BFN and no symptoms, at this point m just waiting for AF to show so that i can move to cycle #3 of letrozole 🙄. I think i will ask my doctor to monitor me this time.
@Mousey6 your symptoms sounds promising FX for you 🙏

@MrsMamaD hope you doing well and the symptoms are not driving you crazy.

@Sparkledust1990 I've decided i will not test anymore until missed AF, ive seen enough BFN for this cycle lol. FX for the surge to start picking up🙏

@zaza687 thats interesting i will also look into it thank you.

Sparkledust1990 · 21/08/2022 21:07

@zaza687 thank you for letting me know. I will definitely look into that. Did it hurt? How is your pcos now?

@Mousey6 oh I've heard bleeding gums can be a symptom 🤞.

OP posts:
Mousey6 · 21/08/2022 13:37

@Sparkledust1990 I’m 9dpo. I hate Tww. Tested today but obviously negative. I’ll see if I can hold on til Wednesday before I test again. Still feeling bloated but the cramps are not as much as they were. My gums were bleeding this morning when I cleaned my teeth, which never happens to me normally!

zaza687 · 21/08/2022 10:49

Yes I did for a good few months my period was so irregular could be upto 90s or even over 100 my first session I had my periods came on cd26 i also had to drink a special tea twice a day I didn't get pregnant though as me and my partner split up it's worth researching if you are interested in it. In traditional Chinese medicine in PCOS they are 4 areas rather than just one that's when they can pin point your problem and work from that hope this helps

Sparkledust1990 · 21/08/2022 09:11

Hi @zaza687, have you had this done for pcos? I've heard of it before but never spoken to anyone who's had it before.

Acupuncture is amazing

Sparkledust1990 · 21/08/2022 09:05

Hello 🤗

@Mousey6 of course- will message you. Getting there! The 2ww is the hardest. Do you think you will test or wait?

@MrsMamaD yep, evil symptoms! I try everytime to ignore the symptoms and everytime I think it could be and it never is! If the line progression is stressful definitely leave it. Nausea is a really good sign of high levels of hormones for pregnancy 🤞.

How are you @Roro1423 have you stayed off the tests or doing more?

I'm currently testing for ovulation (cd10) but concerned I've not had any physical signs yet. I don't normally get peak until the 15th/16th but I usually have some signs by now 😬.

MrsMamaD · 20/08/2022 13:30

Afternoon ladies 👋🏼

Isn't it so annoying how af and pregnancy symptoms are pretty much exactly the flipping same?!

I did a couple of tests to try and see progression lines but I've only got IC left, they've been there but not really strong so I'm am stepping away from the tests before I drive myself insane lol!
I am feeling pretty nauseous and really tired so, as long as they stick around I can feel a bit safe.

Didn't feel nauseous at all with my first so this is a new one for me!

How is everyone feeling today? I'm so glad it's cooled down a bit but it sure as hell is muggy, I keep getting fooled into thinking I can wear more clothing 🤣

Mousey6 · 20/08/2022 10:49

Hope everyone is ok! I’m still feeling bloated and crampy and just feeling a bit rubbish! 8dpo so a bit early still for testing.

I’d like to join the WhatsApp group too please 😊

Sparkledust1990 · 20/08/2022 09:27

Morning ladies 👋

@MrsMamaD are you doing line progression or leaving it? How are you feeling?

@Roro1423 8dpo is very early anyway- some implant later too so you're still not out. How are you feeling?

Perfect- I'll private message my number ☺️

Roro1423 · 19/08/2022 11:48

Well 8dpo today and BFN as expected, i will try again 10dpo.
@MrsMamaD you just described my situation, m keeping an eye on the symptoms to see if they progress but nothing so far hopefully i end up like you with a positive😊. How are you doing today, has the symptoms kicked in yet?

@Sparkledust1990 Thank you🤗, hope you doing well today. m also happy with joining the WhatsApp group.

MrsMamaD · 18/08/2022 19:35

@Roro1423 no, don't think that! I literally felt like I had a UTI coming because I just had real urgency, felt like I needed to go as soon as I'd gone, y'know? I put it down to the heatwave and possibly just getting a bit too sweaty but no it's definitely one of my symptoms because no pain ever came and I still feel just as urgent lol - I need to pee ALLLLLLL THE TIMMEEE!! 🤣

I'm happy to join a WhatsApp group if you ever made one 😊

Sparkledust1990 · 18/08/2022 15:42

@MrsMamaD oh I'm sorry to hear about your mmc 💐. I'm crossing my fingers for a sticky bean for you 🤞. You deserve some excitement after all you've been through. Yes totally agree, I'm so glad I reached out and found all of you 🤗. I've been feeling much more hopeful and it has encouraged me to keep pushing on.

@Roro1423 Sorry to hear you are feeling rough 😣. That doesn't mean you are out though. Yes I have that battle with myself every month too. Neither seem to help 🤷‍♀️! Either way we are here for you- do what feels right 💕.

Is anyone interested in joining a Wattsapp group? Just thinking it would be easier to see replies and get to know each other even more. No pressure, I know some people might prefer to keep things anonamous too ☺️.

Ladies i dont feel hopeful anymore this cycle. Woke up today with symptoms of yeast infection or possibly UTI😢, not sure whats happening because my partner is out of town due to work and we haven't BD in a week (sorry tmi). M only 7dpo today. Still going to test tomorrow morning just to feed my POAS addiction but i doubt m still in this cycle.

@Sparkledust1990 good luck testing, we need that peak, try testing twice a day from CD10 so that you dont miss it. I got a static smiley on a CB with FMU CD12 but the cheapie was still light. Then peak on a cheapie showed up later around 4 in the afternoon. 🤞

@Mousey6 hope that upset tummy comes with a positive soon🙏

@MrsMamaD i planned to start testing tomorrow because i will be 8dpo still early though but m just disappointed and thinking maybe i should just wait till missed AF 🙄.

MrsMamaD · 18/08/2022 13:17

Ah ladies I'm just as excited in anticipation for you lot! If you don't get crampy this early on then that's usually a good sign!!

I have been getting horrific cramps mid cycle for about a week and a half, for the past 8 months or so and this month they only lasted a couple of days haha so it was the opposite for me 😂
@Mousey6 lets hope the icky feeling is a good sign and not a bug.

@Sparkledust1990 thank you ❤️ I'm excited but trying really hard not to get ahead of myself - tell me you've experienced multiple mcs without telling me eh!? 🙄 They take all the joy out of things that should be fun.

@Roro1423 do you think you are going to test right away or are you going to be strong and give it a day or two?

Loving our little support bubble ladies, seriously those without pcos just really don't understand do they xx

Sparkledust1990 · 18/08/2022 11:01

Wow @MrsMamaD that is the clearest you can get 🙌 huge congratulations 🎉 you must be so excited 🤗

@Mousey6 yes once a baby is wanted that is all we can think about and with pcos we never know how it's effecting us. How many days past ovulation are you? Sorry if you've said already!

@Roro1423 tomorrow is test day for you! Eek how are you feeling about it? Yes finished my tablets so just checking for ovulation for the next week. Why is it such a long process!? 😂.
