@My2boysaremyworld šŸ¤žšŸ» This is all our months and we see lots of BFP’s soon

@Albieroo We DTD every other day from the day after my period ends. Sperm can live 5 days or up to so you never know one of them could be the lucky one… šŸ˜‚

Albieroo · 08/08/2022 17:00

Sending lots of love today, feeling like there is lots of struggling.

Can I ask a question? My flo app is saying I should start DTD today. However ovulation tests are negative. What do you all follow? Should I just go for it? šŸ˜‰

My2boysaremyworld · 08/08/2022 16:57

Sending a big hug to all you lovely women 🄰

A lot of us have had a bad month so far with these BFN!!

After my AF being a week late I'm suffering with this AF. I'm so heavy and feel so weak!

Here's hoping this new cycle is our cycle this time 😘xx

My2boysaremyworld · 08/08/2022 16:55

@OneMoreLittleFox I know how you feel. Just started a new cycle after my last cycle was 35 days! I also did tests and got annoyed that they was negative but I was so late!!
Try to be kind to yourself xx

OneMoreLittleFox · 08/08/2022 16:40

CD39 and now I am spotting. Had BFN all week so I knew I was not PG but the cramping and spotting still makes me feel angry for some reason. I do feel extra hormonal today. Longest cycle, without a BFP, in years. I suddenly feel so despondent it is unbelievable. I really dislike TTC so much, even more so with AI.

OneMoreLittleFox · 08/08/2022 16:36

@mamazac I see it, but I hate blue dye tests as they often show a pale line for me even when I am not pregnant. But šŸ¤ž for you.

Essexgalttc · 08/08/2022 15:29

@kizzy97 I hope you are doing better. I’ve just come off all social media because I’m struggling with all the pregnancy announcements and I’m feeling a bit down that friends who started trying after us and after our loss are posting their scan photos

kizzy97 · 08/08/2022 15:24

Hi, been a bit MIA, struggling a bit this cycle for some reason, no idea why. Sorry for afs and bfns and congrats to those with bfps or starting of bfps xx

Essexgalttc · 08/08/2022 12:28

@LucyLoopyLu good luck! Lots of baby dust to you
If you do decide to test then use ultra early as the clear blue digital are less sensitive

LucyLoopyLu · 08/08/2022 11:55

Hi all šŸ‘‹

AF due Wednesday, I'm 13dpo according to OPKs. Very nervous now. I want to test but don't want to test and see a BFN.
I've missed FMU today so I just need to decide whether to go for it tomorrow. I only have 2 tests, 1 clear blue ultra early and 1 digital with the weeks.

Essexgalttc · 08/08/2022 09:45

@mamazac I hope that they are the start of your BFP and it’s easier said than done but I do think giving it 2 or 3 days before testing again is best as you can see if the line is darker or not as if it’s the same you know it’s likely an evap but if it’s darker then you know you’re definitely pregnant!

CD 7 for me
I’m going to start using OPK’s this month from CD 10

mamazac · 08/08/2022 07:09

Morning,

Took the other test and looks the same, maybe a teeny tiny bit darker but only 12 hours or so between them so not expecting massive progression

Yesterday is on top.

Will go out this morning to grab a more expensive test and see what that says as I really don't trust these tests

Hoping for BFP August/September
EdinburghGirl1 · 08/08/2022 06:38

@mamazac I see it in that last test as well.

CD4 for me and AF has now pretty much finished. Seem to have very short ones since coming off pill which I'm not complaining about.

@BellaTheDarkOverlord enjoy your camping trip. Weather looks lovely gif this week. Where are you going? If I ovulate CD11 like last month then I'll be hitting fertile window later this week so need get some BD in

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 07/08/2022 22:00

@mamazac I see it too on that test! Goodluck! Hope it gets darker for you xx

CD5 for me. AF still hanging about but slowing down now. Camping from tomorrow so don't expect much DTD this coming week leading up to ovulation.

@mamazac I see it too!!!

LuckyMoonstone · 07/08/2022 17:39

@mamazac I can see it!!

Derinsea12 · 07/08/2022 16:31

@mamazac I can definitely see a faint line on this one!
It is more likely to get darker in the coming days so it's exciting!
Fingers crossed šŸ˜

Can you check how sensitive the Sainsbury's test? It might be less sensitive compared to First response.I would probably get a First response one to see the progression on Monday or Tuesday.

mamazac · 07/08/2022 16:06

tested when I got home with a sainsburys test and got this..

Hoping for BFP August/September
mamazac · 07/08/2022 14:15

@Tropicana1 @Missgemini

Thanks for your replies! It's definitely got pink to it in real life but I'm not putting much hope into it as it just doesn't feel right tbh. Will try and get some more tests on my way home but unlikely to be a FRER. We'll see! X

Derinsea12 · 07/08/2022 12:32

@Purple29 @Purple29 Aww bless him, he must be adorable šŸ˜

It is indeed disheartening sometimes. It is also frustrating that we don't have that much control over our bodies so it is doing its thing and we can only wait, make observations and maybe draw some conclusions(not necessarily right ones).

Sadly, time to time we experience some difficult stuff that makes us question our bodies and their support for us. But that is a part of the human experience I suppose and that feeling would be there time to time, but knowing it is an incredible living machine, working non-stop, supporting us in every minute, every experience we are having, we can always repair the relationship we have with it. That was my learning from my experience last year anyway. Sharing it with hope it might offer some compassion & hope when feeling let down or disappointed by our bodies in the process of TTC.

Missgemini · 07/08/2022 11:14

@Purple29 such a rough ride you’ve had. I’m so sorry to hear about the ectopic. The unknowns of TTC can be so heartbreaking. Wishing you a BFP soon!

@Derinsea12 that’s such an interesting theory. There could be some truth to it. The horrible tummy cramps I had last cycle did disappear at around the 10dpo mark. Should be interesting to see what happens this cycle. 5dpo currently.

Purple29 · 07/08/2022 11:12

@Derinsea12 hes 2 and a half now. We started trying in sept for #2. Not that long but long enough!! So disheartening sometimes.

Derinsea12 · 07/08/2022 10:34

@Purple29 Oh sorry to hear that. It sounds really tough. Sending love and hugs xx
How old is your son now? 😊

Derinsea12 · 07/08/2022 10:22

@Missgemini Yes absolutely, it is almost impossible not to be aware of all the symptoms. I also had some stabbing/sharp pain on the lower abdomen during the first cycle and convinced myself that I am pregnant. However now looking back, the reason probably was bloating/gas caused by hormonal changes.

I agree, 5DPO might still be a little bit early for reading into the symptoms I think, so yes, I would at least wait until Wed/Thursday to do so 😊As I kept reading everywhere that all the pregnancy symptoms are the same as our menstrual cycle. Timing also overlaps, so it's almost impossible to differentiate unless there is a little white strip in your hand lol.

If I had to take one theory that I can test this month is I would see If the symptoms are actually still there after 10DPO. Because in my experience I noticed all the cramps, bloating, mood swings, fatigue, nausea had disappeared on 10-11DPO then on the 14DPO I got my period spotting. I wondered why that is and looked it up and found this: " In a menstrual cycle when pregnancy doesn't occur, the corpus luteum stops working, which causes progesterone levels to drop sharply. Usually around four days before a period begins, the level of progesterone is back down to the level it was at for the first phase of the cycle."

I know it might not work for some people, it would probably work better if cycle start date is pretty solid. I will see and share my updates if that works this time as well.

@NatGee Thank you, hopefully that's the right month for us! Until last month, I didn't know it will require that much effort & time tbh, I always used protection etc and scared that if not, I would get pregnant straight away lol. I had been so naive about it. After hearing and reading everyone's story(maybe finally paying enough attention) now I know šŸ˜…

@Purple29 Sorry to hear that you are feeling let down by your body. I am familiar with that feeling(from experiencing a health issue last year) and it is a difficult one. How long have you been trying?

Tropicana1 · 07/08/2022 10:16

@mamazac I can't see anything I don't think in the 5min one, maybe a very very faint grey line in the 10 min one? But if that's after the time limit then it's not a valid reading. Hopefully more visible in real life, fingers crossed!

@Purple29 sorry af arrived and you're feeling so disheartened, it's rubbish isn't it. Must be extra hard with your approaching due date from your ectopic, sending hugs! X

BFN cheapie 9dpo today.
Don't know why I do this to myself, didn't get a positive until 11dpo with my daughter but still I early test 🤣
