@Jade57 I'm trying again after 7 years too. I'm trying the SMEP method a bit loosely. That's sperm Meets egg plan. You can get it on Amazon Kindle I think. I use OPKs according to SMEP. Goodluck!

Hi girls, do you mind if I join?

first month TTC using ovulation tracker and 9/10DPO today and got this on a FRER this morning. Do you think the line is too faint, Iā€™ve been reading a lot about CPā€™s and a bit scared of it happening and what to look out for šŸ˜©

I'm wondering if I can jump on this thread with you girls. Hubby and I have decided to start TTC. I have been off my contraceptive pill since around November last year but we Havnt been trying (using pull out method) and avoiding the days when I think I might be ovulating. I'm cycle day 2 today although my period has been quite strange, not heavy and no clots and arrived a few days late aswell. I really thought I was pregnant and we realised how much we want another baby because of this. We have an 18 year old and a 7 year old already. My cycles still aren't very regular, 26 days, 27, 29 and the longest being this month at 33 days. I'm wondering do you girls just use ovulation tests? We're trying not too put too much pressure on ourselves so don't want to start temperature tracking etc. we're planning on DTD everyday when my period ends for around 10 days and I have bought some ovulation tests aswell. Is there anything else you would recommend?

Hi girls! Congrats to all who have had positive news! Iā€™ve been MIA, was away at my best friends wedding in NI. Had flashing smileys starting Saturday, didnā€™t manage to DTD then but did yesterday and today. Then had static smiley this afternoon so feeling good weā€™re doing enough so hopefully something sticks! Sending positive vibes to you all for a positive this cycle x

@Derinsea12 I think thereā€™s a set amount of coffee you can drink in pregnancy. I canā€™t quite remember the figure. As far as I know, a small amount is allowed.

Hoping it keeps getting darker but trying not to get hopes up too much this happened two months ago I was 3 weeks late and the faint positives went back to stark white so I'm dubious whether to trust it. But fingers crossed. Thanks for replying x

Think I may have a positive it came up within the time frame but it is a cheap test hard to pick up on cam so had to change colour. Will test again in a couple days and see šŸ¤ž

@Essexgalttc I've usually say 2 days after. Like if I get my peak today and tomorrow test is fainter, I'll class tomorrow as ovulation and the next day 1DPO. At least when I am testing around AF time I'm looking at lowest number DPO if that makes sense.

Today CD13 and negative OPK, line so faint barely there. AF due 31st.

Hi!

You should ovulate 24-36 hours after peak, so normally 2 days or so until 1dpo after peak

Can anyone else me with OPK question?

Are you 1 DPO the day after peak or the day after the day you got your peak?

For example if I get my peak 16th tomorrow will 17th be 1DPO? Or would it be 18th?

CD20 today, not sure how many DPO or anything due to not tracking this month, will test 24th as this is when I'd be due if I was having a 28 day cycle and then go from there. Not particularly hopeful this month

I will poas on Wednesday again as AF should arrive on Friday. Itā€™s disappointing though.

A quick question -During TTC, Should I consider quitting coffee completely or is it ok having a cup of coffee everyday? As I am not sure if I can function without caffeine šŸ„“

Hope everyone is well. CD13 today and finally home! Hopefully weather will break today and cool down. Will test ovulation soon to see if I get a positive over next few days.

@Tartanhaggis hopefully these are positive things for you.

CD11 today and another (3rd) flashing smiley so will be at least CD13 before I ovulate. Taking it as a good thing and maybe last month was just a blip. I have had ovulation pain the past couple days so egg must be busy ripening. My dilemma of DTD yesterday now doesn't matter lol. Think I'll skip today though and hopefully it's peak tomorrow
