TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@Hannargh I had to , I cried about deleting an email yeah I did a line eyes thread and it seems there is something there , just hoping it's not an indent xxx

@xttcbabyno1x aha the first to crumble! I'm not trying to get hopes up or anything but I feel like I can see a really really faint line - probably an indent or just the light? But I guess we will see if it's just my eyes causing havoc!

Hi @YellsiBabs so interesting you have hay-fever symptoms - some of the ladies on here seem to have the same!

6 or 7DPO today for me - not much to say. Some mild aches and a nice temp dip and a proper rise today but otherwise 🤷‍♀️

@YellsiBabs Hey! Welcome! I'm so glad someone else is having weird hay-fever symptoms! They are driving me insane!

@xttcbabyno1x well done on holding out as long as possible. How many dpo are you again? I'm going to test again tomorrow.

I've had the stretching feeling most of the day today. Not to mention come 2-3pm every day I'm on my knees ready to sleep. Had a 2 hour nap and woke up ready for another 2 hour nap 🤣 xx

Can I join? I am 8 dpo as well and have the weird cold/hay fever symptoms. No other symptoms.

This is our 1st cycle of trying. I have an almost 3 year old and fell quickly with them so fingers crossed. I am a bit daunted about going back to the newborn stage so I won’t be devastated if it doesn’t happen on this cycle although I would love an April baby.

@xttcbabyno1x maybe tomorrow morning the test will pick up more hcg and give you that positive! As you say, can keep testing as it’s still early days. I’m finding the days are dragging and I’m only 3DPO 🤣

@MumofAlf I did just take a test, but it's late in the day and only 8dpo! First cycle tracking but realistically more our 4th without protection xx

I crumbled today and took a test lol, 8dpo but only just took it at 6pm 😂 2 hour hold , will try again tomorrow !

@MumofAlf you can still have 1-2 small cups a day when. Because I train I use a s cup of coffee as my preworkout but the rest of the time I drink decaff tea and coffee xx

Are you ladies avoiding coffee in the tww? Not sure how strict I should be really. With my first I knew I was pregnant really in the tww so I just didn’t have any. Now I’m not sure if I should be cutting it out?!

@xttcbabyno1x I feel fine in myself. Just got the sneezes and itchy nose still, had that metallic taste this morning and now have just come out the gym and have what feels like a stretching feeling down really low... like on my pubic bone going from the inside of one hip straight across to the other. Genuinely it's only the metallic taste that has me wondering. 🤞🏻 for us all ❤️

Will defo keep you all posted. I know that even if I am it's way too early for BFP so I'll just do one cheapie strip a day until AF due and if haven't had BFP then will do another FRER xx

Yeah only 8dpo... I've just done FRER. Totally expecting it to show negative so that will be fine. It's 5-6 days out from AF due so I'll test daily now until it shows... or doesn't... xx

Girls!! I've woken up with a metallic taste this morning! Went to the bathroom mirror to check if maybe I had bitten my cheek while I was sleeping or something, expecting to see blood... but nope no blood.

I'm genuinely not symptom spotting this month but this is so bizarre! I might start testing from today on the run up to AF....

What do you all think? I don't want to get my hopes up Xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 sounds good though 🤞🤞🤞 so hopeful for you!
Still some twinges and flutters going on in the tum, feeling sick, boobs still sore, cm still very present but weirdly my pup has been laying on my tum all day she is a bit of a snuggler but I've never seen or draped around my stomach or choose me over dp its quite sweet even if its not symptom I hope it continues!

@MumofAlf honestly becareful what you wish for 😂😂 though I be annoyed If we were trying and he was skipping days! Though one night he was so tired that I had to wake him up a few times!

@MumofAlf I'm 7dpo today so it's too early to test either way. I'm not feeling the urge to test but after reading about the possibility of this sneezing and sniffling being a sign I kinda want to know haha. I've checked Flo and it says AF due on the 13th but that would put my cycle at 2 days longer than I've ever had. So I'm more likely due 11th or 12th instead xx

@Nypie you lucky thing! I have to practically beg mine 🤣 If this cycle is a no go I’m guna have to sit him down and tell him to buck up if he wants it to happen!
@TheCakeIsALie18 How many DPO are you now? If it helps, I actually preferred waiting till period due day and then doing the test, I duno why! Kinda felt like that I would defo have my answer and was always exciting to see if it was positive. Probs haven’t explained that very well!

@Nypie yep still sneezing and sniffing and rubbing my nose because it's so itchy. It's driving me insane! So bloated today too and had some twinges but still not looking too much into that.

Oooooh what weird symptoms you getting? I was thinking about starting to test too... but don't want the disappointment lol xx
