Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

Much love xoxox

@xttcbabyno1x congratulations! Must be so nice seeing it so clearly and knowing! Amazing news! xx
@TheCakeIsALie18 when are you going to take your FRER? Got everything crossed for you

xttcbabyno1x · 08/08/2022 20:17

@Maxime34 hahahah! I've been bloated too but no other symptoms apart from some shooting pains in my boobs on Saturday!! Fingers crossed for you xx

Maxime34 · 08/08/2022 20:16

@xttcbabyno1x feeling super bloated but I had zero symptoms pre taking a test with my DD so im convinced it's my holiday diet taking its toll!

xttcbabyno1x · 08/08/2022 19:54

@Maxime34 thank you so so much ❤️ ooh testing Sunday! Any symptoms or anything ? Xx

Maxime34 · 08/08/2022 19:54

@dpr89 I'm also 7dpo and going to test on Sunday... This week is going to drag!

Congratulations @xttcbabyno1x so happy for you!

Good luck to everyone testing! Xx

dpr89 · 08/08/2022 19:16

Hi all,
I just found this thread and I'm also on 2ww (7dpo) with AF due next Sunday.

I've been TTC#1 since end of January, with an ectopic pregnancy which ended up in surgery and tube removed, less than 2 months ago.

Weirdly, I've also been having a runny nose for the last couple days 😅 and today got a bit o lower back pain.
I should know better now but did a cheap pregnancy test and as expected was negative! 😅

The wait is just insane!
Baby dust to all

xttcbabyno1x · 08/08/2022 18:40

@TheCakeIsALie18 that's the worst feeling isn't it !! Did you track ovulation this month? Xx z

TheCakeIsALie18 · 08/08/2022 18:40

@xttcbabyno1x thanks. I thought AF might have been coming early but no sign of blood and I only usually cramp day 1 and 2 of AF... I'm still stuck with that feeling of I don't want to get my hopes up and I'm nervous etc... xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 don't worry about cramping I've had cramps back end of last week I thought AF was coming, you could be implanting!! I've told him haha, we were told two weeks ago his sperm morphology was low (2%) we paid for a test to be done! So I said to him "I think they might have gotten your results wrong" lol xxx

TheCakeIsALie18 · 08/08/2022 18:30

@xttcbabyno1x yeah we were ❤️❤️ I'll keep you posted. I've recently started getting cramping again this evening. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I can't wait to see your first scan ❤️ when are you going to tell OH?? If you haven't already xx

Hi all, may I jump on? We have just started TTC but not really tracked this month. I’m pretty sure ovulation was 31st due to EWCM and the Flo app so 8DPO today. Did a test this morning, despite promising myself I’d wait until the weekend 😆and unsurprisingly BFN which I should have expected as I think it’s too early to tell for me.

Really wish I could hold off and wait until the weekend but I’m sure I’ll be doing another one tomorrow!

YellsiBabs · 08/08/2022 15:00

@NalaNana thank you. I will do that. Not planning on testing before missed period (due 13th/14th). In the meantime will keep positive as I’m not really in pain and the spotting is in line with what Google is describing as the norm for implantation bleeding. Fingers crossed! Thanks for your advice, I appreciate it x

NalaNana · 08/08/2022 14:56

@YellsiBabs I'm sure everything is fine but if you get your positive I'd call the GP to let them know the symptoms. Often they won't scan until 6 weeks because they can't see a lot until then, so you'll probably be offered that scan and told to keep and eye on pain levels etc.

Pain on one side of your abdomen and shoulder tip pain is an emergency situation as it indicates a rupture. You wouldn't expect something like that until you were further on though.

Mine was discovered at 7 and a half weeks and luckily was able to be treated without surgery. I had no idea of the symptoms and whilst I'd heard of ectopic, I didn't know much about it.

I'd try not to worry about all that but just keep an eye out ❤️ x

YellsiBabs · 08/08/2022 14:33

@NalaNana No I have not tested yet. Thanks for the heads up as I wasn’t aware of that. With your experience, what would you suggest I do if I do get a positive test, and obviously due to the spotting and cramping suspect that could be ectopic?

TheCakeIsALie18 · 08/08/2022 14:33

@NalaNana @YellsiBabs aye I was thinking that about the one sided cramping. Better to be safe than sorry. I'm sure everything is fine ❤️❤️ xxx
