TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@TheCakeIsALie18 whaaa chips not a craving??? Im out then 😂😂😂 ohhh were testing the same time!
I agree with @MumofAlf especially if you implanted late it could take some time to show!

Im testing tomorrow though I'm not hopeful but it is the first cycle and I'm prepared so hopefully it wont be too upsetting! What about you?

@TheCakeIsALie18 fingers crossed for tomorrow! Even if it’s negative that doesn’t mean it’s not happening, might just need another day or so to get that hormone showing. With my first, I tested on the first day of my missed period and the line was so so faint, wasn’t sure if I was just making it up. Even second day it was so faint I thought maybe chemical pregnancy. But it got darker and darker as days went on and baby grew as normal. So don’t count yourself out until AF arrives.
@Nypie when are you testing, it is the weekend?

@Nypie it's cycle 2 since CP and cycle 3 total. FRER due to arrive this evening so will take one of those tomorrow morning AF due in 2-3 days, flo says 13th but that would put my cycle 2 days longer than usual lol. So I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for my BFP this month. Cramping seems to have stopped too after 2-3 days. Let's hope it was implantation.

Ahhh chips.... sorry not a craving because who doesn't love a massive bowl of chips 🤣🤣 haha jokes. I hope it is a sign for you xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 sorry your still testing negative and your body is giving you all the signs that must be fustrating hopefully its still too early! Remind me what cycle it is for you?

I still think we must have a few more BFPs to go and hope we can carry on this group and check up on eachother

I'm feeling okay I almost cried during group supervision talk about bloody embarrassing but I get a bit weepy before period anyway. Its so annoying how period symptoms and pregnany symptoms are the same! Also been craving chips...is that even a craving 😂😂😂 putting them on now

So another cheapie test done this morning. Still BFN. Had more cramping last night still no blood though so its definitely not AF. AF due 13th at the latest, more likely due 11th/12th. I don't get cramps for AF until it has already started normally. So I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. FRER due to arrive today so will use one of those tonight. If still BFN ill stick to cheapie until Thursday or unless AF shows up. I really hope it doesn't 😭

Still sneezing and itchy nose, bloated and now constipated too... which is unusual for me shall we say.

Keep those fingers crossed for me I'd love a spring baby ❤️

@Hannargh thanks. I know that most women aren't fussed about the TMI stuff because of the general shit we have to deal with haha. Good to know that the reappearance of the CM has happened to other people too. Xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 never TMI! I also check CM/cervix position to try and get an idea of what's going on. I also get quite creamy CM straight after ov and then it dries up. Would normally expect it to have dried up by now (due Fri/Sat) but we will see...

@peonies1988 @Shefliesonherownwings hi! I'll also be testing on Sunday/Monday if AF doesn't make an appearance before then 😊

@peonies1988 ive been feeling really bloated the past few days which was a sign when I was pregnant with DS. No other symptoms aside from peeing a lot. The bloating could be due to a very bad weekend with food lol as it was DH’s birthday. I did test yesterday but definite BFN, I suspected it would be too early. I didn’t get a BFP with DS until a couple of days before AF was due. Not tested today, I’m trying to hold off until the weekend. My willpower is pretty week though haha.

@Shefliesonherownwings I really feel as though I've had symptoms though, constantly needing to wee and my sense of smell has been really strong, they're normally the first two symptoms for me, but maybe I'm imagining it. How are you doing on the symptom spotting front? xx

Morning @Shefliesonherownwings well I tested this morning on a FRER and it was a definite BFN. I know it's early days but they say they can detect 6 days before your AF and when I tested 6 days prior with my last pregnancy (ended in MC) it was a BFP, so I know it's early but feeling a bit unhopeful now :( Have you tested yet and how are you? xx

Im day 12 tomorrow according to FF and AF will probably be due on day 14 still waiting until Wednesday to test as I feel very out...but no PMS which makes a lovely change!

Ok I'm going to ask you all a TMI question... you don't have to answer it but I am curious if any of you are willing to.

I check my CM 3 times daily. Finger in method as I don't often get much externally, in fact I never get that much internally except during EWCM time... ok anyway, so after O I usually have small amounts of creamy CM until about 4dpo and then nothing until AF. All was exactly as expected for the last few days until just now. Final check of the day and it's creamy again... not loads but it's there and I've still got that stretchy cramp feeling.

Soooo my question to you is, how in tune are you all with your CM and if you've been pg before did you notice a random change in CM? I don't expect to see a lot of pg CM if I do get my BFP this month because I never have a lot anyway... I would just like to hear if anyone else has experience....?

@dpr89 Im away with not tests with me otherwise I would definitely be tempted! It's quite nice not having them though as a bfn is such a horrible way to start the day 😥 keep us posted on your testing and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

@xttcbabyno1x my last post has only just sent and now I'm playing catch up haha. Yeah, I track ovulation haha. I ovulated CD17 this month.

@dpr89 welcome! I'm sorry to hear about your ectopic. I hope you're all healed up now.

@MumofAlf I'm going to do a cheapie in the morning and then I will take an FRER when they arrive haha. Depending on results I will test again the following day with cheapie/FRER

@xttcbabyno1x thanks. I thought AF might have been coming early but no sign of blood and I only usually cramp day 1 and 2 of AF... I'm still stuck with that feeling of I don't want to get my hopes up and I'm nervous etc... xx
