TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@Shefliesonherownwings yep, nothing :( yesterdays must’ve been indents? I know my body and I’d be testing positive by now if it had happened. Feeling v disheartened. X

Hi all, very exciting @TheCakeIsALie18 and @xttcbabyno1x , sticky vibes for you both. I haven’t tested today as I’ve run out and my FRERs haven’t arrived yet. Will test tomorrow when I should be 13 DPO. How’s everyone else getting on? @peonies1988 have you tested today?

@TheCakeIsALie18 thank you! Noo don't read into it lovely I would say that you implanted a few days later than me that's all!! If you look online loads of people have similar tests as yours at that stage, I must've just implanted earlier xx

Definitely book yourself in for a scan so you can put your mind at rest!💕 xx

@xttcbabyno1x awww yay!!! Congrats!!! Those lines look fab. I must have another 3 days or so before my line matches the control line. I'm so worried that it just won't progress 😢 your test lines have got darker in 3 days than mine did in 3 days... I hope I'm not reading into that too much!!!

I can't blame you for booking early scans. Are you going private? I want to book early scans too. I just can't shake the feeling it's another CP xx

Oh amazing!! Soooo happy for you!! Had it sunk in yet ?

Don't worry the cheapies still struggle with me !!

The test line is now the same as the control line and I got 2-3 on clear blue today. I've panicked and bought a 6 week early scan and a 9 week one! I worry so much lol xx

@xttcbabyno1x Heyyy! Yep AF due day and nothing. Temp still up CM still creamy and a darker line than yesterday on FRER. Cheapies still not showing on camera very well but they are looking good in person!

How are you? Have you tested again? Xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 i got a cold about a week after ovulation, was googling 🙈 and its definitely a symptom for some. Was about 4 days after that I got the faintest line ever.
Does anyone check cervix position? Its new to me so can't really compare to what is normal for me but I'm sure mine has gone higher. Argghhh I can't help but symptom spot.. keep pinching my nipples to see if there tender 🙈🤣 crazy lady in the house 🙋‍♀️

@Shleepymummy some women get more creamy discharge. So for me I dry up after O and I only get lots of EWCM rest of the month not a lot. This month after I dried up the CM came back which was unusual

@Clairel77 OMG no wayyyyyy!!!! A cold?!?! I started sneezing and has itchy eyes and nose about 9 days ago and now it's worse 🤣 I thought I was going crazy when I was googling hay-fever as a pregnancy symptom lol.

@xttcbabyno1x aww that's ok. Yeah I'm fine this evening chomping at the bit to test aging tomorrow. It should be AF due day tomorrow (flo says 13th) so I'm just hoping that line sticks around!!!!! Xx

@Shleepymummy everyone is different but I got more milky discharge when pregnant, one of my first signs, that and a cold. Good luck

Bit gross but is there anything to look out for cervical discharge wise in the tww if you are pregnant?

Hi @Shefliesonherownwings we are on the exact same schedule, I’m 11 dpo today and due on Monday. I stupidly tested yday and the day before and got stark whites, I only did it because in my last pregnancy I tested positive really early so must’ve ovulated sooner than thought. I’ve done two Frers today and I’ve got some really squinters that have given me hope. I wouldn’t have thought anything of them but there’s definitely something after my huge bfns earlier in the week. Let us know when you’ve tested. Xxx

@Clairel77 Hey welcome to our little corner of the planet! I'm sorry to hear about your MC. I hope you're doing alright. Are you trying straight away or are you letting a period slip in between?

We tried immediately after my CP but didn't catch but AF came on the exact day expected which was crazy. My body adapted quicker than I did lol xx

Hi everyone. Thought I'd gatecrash. Currently cycle day 21 of usual 26 but first cycle after a MC so could be all over the place. No symptoms I had with previous pregnancies just a lingering migraine.

@Shleepymummy lol no of course I don't have to take them. But they're in the cupboard looking lonely 🤣 I will only take them if normal tests are looking good in a week or so haha. Xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 do you have to take a digital one? I know it’s nice to get the weeks but if it gives you anxiety and worries you? Could just do the regular ones every few days maybe? You’ve got this 👍🏻
@YellsiBabs ahh sorry to hear this. Can feel disappointing but as you say, just cycle 1, lots of luck for cycle 2!
@Hannargh you’ve got great will power to have not tested yet! Fingers crossed Aunt Flo stays away and you get your positive.

Im only 6/7 dpo and bored of waiting already! Just want to know. But pretty sure I’m out this month. Have had no symptoms yet, so think I’m going to just wait for Aunt Flo to arrive rather than seeing a negative test

@xttcbabyno1x so with the CP I didn't take any other tests, only digital as that's all I could get hold of local to me when I missed my period. Because we weren't actively trying and I didn't know about lines getting darker etc... I didn't test more than that first one until the spotting started. I was very naive and just thought "well this is it job done" so yeah... testing like crazy now. I will brave a digital next weekend if things keep going well I think ❤️

@YellsiBabs aww I'm so sorry to hear AF arrived. At least you can start fresh again this cycle ❤️

@Hannargh eeek fingers crossed AF stays away! Let us know how the testing goes. I'm excited to see some more BFPs ❤️ xxx

Hi everyone! Still going ... currently on 10/11 DPO now. One app says AF due today/tomorrow, another says Saturday, which would put me at my normal 32 cycle (but I've been later than that before).

Heading home this evening and some cheapie tests arriving tomorrow so may test tomorrow or Saturday just to get an idea of what's going on, unless AF beats me to it. These last few days for me feel like the weirdest time as I'm just waiting to see what happens next and trying not to read into where my cervix is 😅

Loving seeing your progression @xttcbabyno1x and @TheCakeIsALie18 - and also hearing about what comes next 😊

Sorry AF arrived @YellsiBabs - hopefully next time!

Hi ladies!

My AF arrived this morning, disappointing :(

Seems a bit different to normal as well. 2 days early and has started with brown blood instead of red, and comes after 3 days of light spotting.

Anyway, I’m sad as I loved the idea of an April baby but it’s only cycle 1 so hopefully next time or soon at the least.

Wishing you lot all the luck for lots of BFPs and healthy pregnancies 💖

@TheCakeIsALie18 oh I am so so sorry 🥺 I think I'm going to buy a couple more digitals to keep an eye on this now, was the colour getting darker in other tests? Got everything crossed for you this time round! Have you booked an early scan? Xx

@xttcbabyno1x no I only had digitals available when I missed my period with the CP. CB digital gave me a 1-2 week reading and then I started spotting a couple days later. I took another one after 5 days of spotting and it still said 1-2 weeks I passed a clot 3 days after that and then bled for a further 3 days. Took one final one after bleeding stopped and it showed negative. So yeah... nervous to try digital again haha. It is handy to see if your Hcg is going up though as your weeks wouldn't increase if it isn't xx

Hi all @xttcbabyno1x those tests look great, good line development. When I was pregnant with DS I tested for weeks and weeks after they BFP lol.

I decided not to test today, I’ve ordered some FRERs which should arrive tomorrow. I’ll be 12DPO so depending what time they arrive I’ll either test tomorrow or Saturday. AF should be due Monday.
