Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

Much love xoxox

@TheCakeIsALie18 😂😂 aww! Haha, just think about how you'll be sat with a decaf tea or coffee with a bump and Christmas movies 🍿 🎄 I'm not a big drinker apart from I did have a festival booked for two weeks today, I'm going to go in the day and then leave as obviously can't drink now! Going to a friends birthday party tonight too, tonight is a J20 with a side of water and a good excuse 😂😂 xxx

xttcbabyno1x · 13/08/2022 08:11

TheCakeIsALie18 · 13/08/2022 08:10

@Shefliesonherownwings aww well if you are out, then I'm sorry! I hope AF turns up soon for you so you can start again! When is it due? Xx

@xttcbabyno1x oh god yes. I mean roll on autumn just to get out of this heat now!! I'm looking forward to Christmas... except for the no mulled wine or sherry part.... traditions gone out the window this year lol xxx

Morning ladies. I'm finally late by all apps this morning. Currently refusing to wee until I've decided whether to test or not today or to hold out for another couple of days just in case AF is late. I don't think I win either way in this stand-off 😅
It sounds a bit mad but I've never taken a pregnancy test before so I'm a little nervous to do it now.

xttcbabyno1x · 13/08/2022 08:03

@TheCakeIsALie18 🤞🏼 😂 roll on Christmas I say! Xxx

Shefliesonherownwings · 13/08/2022 08:03

Morning, I’m 13DPO today and did a test but a definitely BFN. I know from past experience I would have had a positive result by now if pregnant so I’m certain I’m out for this month. I’m not too sad, this was our first month not using protection and I wasn’t properly tracking so we would have been incredibly lucky to have got a BFP.

Im going to order some clear blue ovulation sticks for next month as I’ve used those successfully in the past. Here’s to more BDing!

TheCakeIsALie18 · 13/08/2022 08:02

@xttcbabyno1x haha yeah. Some years April is glorious weather... other years not so much lol. Well let's hope for us both next year it will be mediocre 🤣 xx

xttcbabyno1x · 13/08/2022 07:54

@TheCakeIsALie18 exactly and at least not massive in this heat 🙈🙈 when I was born, It showed (April) so it's a funny month for weather xxx

TheCakeIsALie18 · 13/08/2022 07:37

@xttcbabyno1x haha that's fair enough.

Yeah an online calculator says 20th. But the flo calendar takes it up to 41 weeks and the 26th. At least it will be before it gets too stupidly hot next year!!! Xxx

@TheCakeIsALie18 it's okay I think under any other circumstance I'd be raging but because it's this, I'm incredibly grateful even being up at 3 😂 oh really!! It's given me 17th xx

TheCakeIsALie18 · 13/08/2022 07:28

@xttcbabyno1x oooh nooo! Sorry hear about the insomnia! The heat can't be helping! It's given my due date as April 26th. What's yours? Xx

TheCakeIsALie18 · 13/08/2022 07:26

@Hannargh oooh I forgot to say yesterday that if you did have cramping then it could have been implantation, especially as you don't usually feel anything. Bur you'd need to give it 3-4 days after cramping before testing as it takes that long for hCG levels to rise enough for really early detection xxx

xttcbabyno1x · 13/08/2022 07:25

@TheCakeIsALie18 oh that's brilliant news so pleased 💕☺️ how exciting! What did it put your due date as? I'm really good thanks just very tired as the insomnia is keeping me up! 🙈

Me tooo! Baby dust to everyone✨ ✨✨🍀🍀🍀 xxx

TheCakeIsALie18 · 13/08/2022 07:23

Can't wait to see some more test in here this weekend 🥰🤞🏻🤞🏻 xxx

@TheCakeIsALie18 morning lovely how are you feeling today?

Anyone testing today?? ✨✨✨ xxx

TheCakeIsALie18 · 12/08/2022 17:06

@Shefliesonherownwings I use FMU whenever that might be. I drink 3L+ every day so I go a couple times a night so have the same thing. Don't need to go when I get up. So FMU is whenever I happen to need to pee 🤣

@Hannargh yeah everyone is different. I'm just super lucky I don't suffer with anything except that and AF is like clockwork and is only ever 3 days long too. Very lucky girlie right here. It is helpful being able to feel ovulation though haha Xx

OP posts:
Hannargh · 12/08/2022 16:51

Thanks @TheCakeIsALie18 - I find it so interesting how everyone feels things so differently. I don't think I've ever had noticeable ovulation cramping and very rarely get any proper AF cramps so anything outside of that feels very unusual. Time will tell!

Shefliesonherownwings · 12/08/2022 16:44

Does everyone test with FMU, is that proven to be the best time? I usually have to go to the loo in the night, sometimes twice so by morning I don’t normally need to go straight away so by the time I POAS it’s normally mid morning. FRERs have arrived so will defo test tomorrow.

TheCakeIsALie18 · 12/08/2022 15:51

@xttcbabyno1x yeah £80 per test, but worth it ❤️

@peonies1988 so I had "very noticeable" cramping for 3 days and got the faintest line 2 days later. So are you having cramps still? Because it could be a couple days still before a BFP. Fingers crossed for you

@Hannargh sooo obviously everyone's body is different. I don't get any PMS at all but what I do get is very definite cramps during AF. I also get cramps for 1 hour every month during ovulation (I can pinpoint the exact hour of the I ovulate) and I had 3 days where I had quite uncomfortable cramping at 7,8,9DPO which turned out to be implantation cramping. Because I don't suffer with other symptoms generally it made it quite obvious when I did have them. So if you felt them you may be lucky ❤️❤️ xx

OP posts:
Hannargh · 12/08/2022 14:13

What are peoples' thoughts on cramping? As far as I can remember, I've never had cramping outside of some gentle cramping during AF. I know we hit the right time for ovulation last month and this month (as far as you can through OPKs and bbt) and I had really bad cramps between 7-9DPO that were genuinely uncomfortable. This month I had light cramping 8DPO and just some gentle twinging since. I don't have much else to work from but as someone who wouldn't normally have any cramps do you think that could be implantation trying to happen?
If no go this month I'm thinking I might test at 10DPO in future on a cheapie just to get an idea of whether anything has actually implanted but then doesn't stick so I've got a fuller picture of what's going on.

Still haven't tested yet. I made a conscious decision to not POAS this morning. AF due tomorrow 🤞 xx

peonies1988 · 12/08/2022 13:59

Thank you so much @TheCakeIsALie18 i just use the Flo app and DTD every other day during ovulation window so not 100% but I think 12. Yes I’ve had cramping, increased sense of smell, nausea, increased need to wee - must’ve been all in my head! Xxx

xttcbabyno1x · 12/08/2022 13:53

@TheCakeIsALie18 yeah I'm the same to be honest!! Haha! I won't get it on NHS either I've booked one for 6 weeks and one for 9 weeks .. cost a fortune 😬 but for piece of mind so worth it xx

TheCakeIsALie18 · 12/08/2022 13:25

@xttcbabyno1x I know, I'm trying not to read into anything lol but you know what our brains are like haha. I will book in for a scan at 7 and 9 or 10 weeks most likely. Will have to do it privately though as I won't be able to get it through the doctors.

@Shefliesonherownwings ooh I look forward to seeing results tomorrow!

@peonies1988 you may have implanted late. How many DPO are you and have you had any cramping recently? I've got my fingers crossed for you xxx

OP posts:
peonies1988 · 12/08/2022 11:38

hey @xttcbabyno1x i suppose there’s a slightly possibility, I’m not due AF for another 3 days but I’ve always got my answer early with frer before. We’ll see, I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Baby dust to all of you ♥️💖✨

xttcbabyno1x · 12/08/2022 11:36

@Shefliesonherownwings thank you fingers crossed for tomorrow let us know ✨✨🍀🍀🍀 xx

@peonies1988 hi lovely ☺️ any chance you could've implanted late or even ovulated later than you thought ? Lots of dust ✨✨💕💕
