TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

Hey @eleveneleven11 - stay strong! I know some people will get their bfp early but it will feel even better in a few days if you don't have any doubt about it! Keep us posted!

Hmm no I don’t think so, thought I had sore boobs but it didn’t last long, I don’t remember any early symptoms with my first pregnancy though so I’m trying not to over think it.

i don't think i have either really. i've had a lot of cramps and twinges however i have a sensitive tummy anyway so i often get aches and pains. i've been sleeping more and feeling low energy but this could definitely be down to the heat.

the fact that you had no symptoms with your last pregnancy is a comfort i guess as nothing to particularly look out for this time around! x

Hi @eleveneleven11 ! I’m due on 18th Aug as well and also holding off on testing but it’s been hard! I looked at the test box today but closed the drawer and moved on! So tempting! Maybe we can keep each other strong and hold off for another few days?!

@Shleepymummy ahhh AF date buddies. well done for putting the test back today! proud of us! i think we've potentially saved ourselves a miserable saturday there.
yes, let's keep each other strong for the next few days - i need an angel on my shoulder telling me to step awaaaayyyyy from the tests 🤣

hey all :)

i have loved perusing this thread and following a few success stories! massive congratulations to anyone with a BFP and sending baby dust to anyone still in the game.

am i too late to join in? i'm 8/9 dpo with AF due on 18th aug. last cycle i drove myself insane symptom spotting and doing tests so this month i've been keeping super busy and staying strong. i even unwrapped a test this morning ready to go and then stopped myself and put it back in the box!

noticing dragging crampy feelings low down and slight back pain. i'm sleeping like a log and have just woke up from nap which is so unlike me however it's hard to know the cause in this heatwave!

the next 5 days are going to go soooooo slow

AF finally made an appearance this afternoon - I don't mind as at least I'm back on schedule now. I've only been doing thorough tracking for the last 2 months and have some more complete and consistent data to look at.

Let us know how you get on @Maxime34 and good luck to everyone else testing in the next few days - are you testing soon @peonies1988 @Shefliesonherownwings ?

Well! I've tested but there's no photo to share as it's a bfn. I've got some more sensitive tests arriving later (this whatever was lying around the house) so will try them out at some point but not even a shadow to report on this one 🙃 🤷‍♀️

@xttcbabyno1x ooh that's a good shout. I can't get away with that as we are walking there and back as the military camp is just across the road from us haha. My brother in law will be there and I don't want him to know before we tell our parents lol. They were ordering the port a couple weeks ago and I said order me a separate bottle as a joke... so it will be super weird now when I don't have any for the toasts..... xxx

@xttcbabyno1x haha yeah, that is going to be lush. My kitties snuggles up to burn St Christmas is what I'm looking forward to. I'm not a drinker either really haha just have a few alcohol traditions with my mum at Christmas lol. I've got a formal dinner with the Air Cadets I work with tonight lol. There will be port, which I love, and can't have.... they all know I'm partial to port haha and I haven't come up with a good excuse yet!!! What excuse are you using?! Xxx
