TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@eleveneleven11 🥺🥺🥺 thank you. That woke the tear buds up this morning. That's really kind. 5 weeks today and no spotting so far. Thankfully! I'm going to be checking every time I wipe I think...paranoid... this is the support group I need right now, other people that have gone through something similar or are going through the same journey now ❤️❤️❤️ How are you?

@xttcbabyno1x how are you doing today?! I decided to hold off on doing my final FRER today and only did a cheapie. Cheapie is looking good though. Darker than yesterday 👌🏻 FRER I will use on Saturday and hopefully will get my dye stealer then.

@Shleepymummy I hope you're feeling a little better today? Xxx

@TheCakeIsALie18 bless you, i totally get that. the whole journey is such a rollercoaster! the symptoms are on your side though and your body is doing what it is designed to do - logically, there is no good reason why everything won't progress exactly how it should this time around. be kind to yourself and do whatever you can to stay relaxed over the next few days to get this milestone behind you. one day at a time :) we're all here with continuous words of encouragement! xxxx

@eleveneleven11 thanks. Yeah lines are looking fab. I'm going to hold on to my last FRER until the end of the week to see if I get a dye stealer then. I'm starting to feel a little nervous because I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and I start spotting at 5 weeks with my CP.... passed it 5 days after that. So I'm really apprehensive. Every little twinge I'm now panicking. But I'm holding on to the fact that insomnia, heartburn, and a little nausea are still with me 🤞🏻❤️ I just want to get to 6 weeks

@xttcbabyno1x yeah, fingers crossed! He seems fine at the moment. I'm fit and healthy and never gets colds or anything so hopefully my immune system holds up and we will be fine haha. Xxx

@eleveneleven11 I hope AF arrives bang on time for you both if you're adamant it's not your month. Get on to the next cycle! I'm still (not so) secretly keeping my fingers crossed for you both that it will be this month! Xxx

@Shleepymummy hello! feeling a bit flat today, still no test. my work is super stressful at the moment - spinning too many plates!

so sorry to hear you have a sickness bug. absolutely not what you need! there's literally nothing worse :( everything crossed for you that it is just a 24-hour thing and nothing more major. get well soon lovely.

I'm waiting for AF too. before we know it it'll be a fresh new cycle and time to be tracking again. 💕

I have been up since 2am with a sickness bug, so that’s not ideal. Feeling drained and bleurgh. Decided to just wait for AF on Thursday and then do more tracking next month and try to catch it!

@xttcbabyno1x thank you. That's good to know. OH has offered to sleep in the spare room for a couple of nights to put my mind at ease but I'm thinking that if he is positive then we work in the same room anyway and sit together for meals and what not. If he has picked it up, it's likely I've already got it from him. So just got to keep fingers crossed that it won't cause an early MC 😪🤞🏻 xxx

@TheCakeIsALie18 I don't think so but I'm such a worrier that's the one that's going around in my head! Oh bless you, if it's any help I know two of my friends have had covid in pregnancy and baby has been fine xx

@NalaNana sorry to hear about your ectopic! Thank you for replying as you've really just put my mind at ease quite a lot, took a sigh of relief, so thank you so much I really appreciate you taking the time to reply xx

@xttcbabyno1x I'm not a doctor but with my ectopic the lines weren't progressing like yours. Usually HCG will double (or more) in 48 hours with a viable pregnancy, with ectopic HCG increases at a much slower rate x

@xttcbabyno1x awww no I'm sure you are fine. You haven't had any of the symptoms of ectopic have you? ❤️❤️

My current worry is my OH was in the office yesterday and today one of the women has tested positive for Covid.... I really hope he won't have caught it. He wasn't around her so keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm going to try and book my 7 week scan for the 3rd September so I reckon my MW appointment will be the following week some time xxx

It's finally starting to feel real now. I should get a call from the local MW today to arrange the first appointment. Once that's done, I'm going to book an early scan for the 7 and a bit weeks mark. So nervous!

Yep, snacks now live in my bag and car apparently. Don't think it will be long until o start keeping something in my bedside drawer to try and curb the nighttime nausea lol xxx

@TheCakeIsALie18 oh my gosh it's a nightmare isn't it 😂 I was up at 3 this morning and it's making the days drag!!

I'm the same with the nausea when I'm hungry, I've had to start taking snacks with me anywhere as it really hurts otherwise 😂

I'm going to do the same!! I'm 6 weeks on Monday so I will be taking my last test then too! Wow your line is looking brilliant!!!! So happy for you ❤️

I'm okay thank you just find myself desperately wanting to get to 12 weeks!!

@xttcbabyno1x morning lovely. I'm alright, I guess. Insomnia is a dick lol. Every night the last week I haven't managed to get to sleep until about 4am... and last night heartburn and nausea lasted until 3am so that was fun... it seems to be whenever I get even the slightest bit hungry. So I'm on snacks constantly. Which isn't an ideal way to fuel my body for the exercise I do lol.

Here's my line today though. Not quite a dye stealer but nearly. I've got one FRER left and then I'm on cheapies until they run out next week. Will take my final digital at 6 weeks (next wednesday) and pray I get 3+. Then no more testing...

How are you doing lovely? Xxx

@Shleepymummy ooooh ritz crackers. That's a shout... I have a soft spot for the large cheddars haha.

Something else that is a bit weird right now... OH is sitting next to me and all I can smell is feet 😅 not a bad foot smell, just like a "been wearing socks all day" smell. I smelt his feet and it is his feet I can smell sooo strange 🤣🤣🤣🤣 xxx

Yes I'm ok. Actually I'm kind of relieved because yesterday and today I was feeling pain on my left side and I was freaking out it was another ectopic (had right tube removed a couple of months ago)!
It's not this cycle for me but also it's not an ectopic.

@TheCakeIsALie18 oh no the morning sickness/nausea is just the worst! At least you managed to eat though. I just always had ritz crackers near by and would shove one in whenever nausea hit, it really helped! Glad you’re doing ok though!
@dpr89 so sorry to hear this. Never nice when you think something is happening. Sending hugs

@Shleepymummy that makes sense. I think I sort of felt like that last month but one day before AF was due I gave in and took a test because I wouldn't be disappointed by a negative because I knew AF was likely to come. It just got rid of the craving to test lol.

I still have everything crossed for you though 🤞🏻❤️

I'm alright thanks. Feeling super sick this afternoon. A combo I think of morning sickness, the heat, and lack of sleep. Hubby was just cooking dinner and I went in to get food, walked into the kitchen and walked straight back out because the smell was vile. Food tasted good, just the smell of cooking lol. Xxx
