@H1994 thank you lovely x

My partner is 29 ☺️ !! Have you thought about how you'd tell people yet? I think that's one of the things I am most excited for xx

Ahh I see, I'm sorry to hear that, that sounds a bit tough!... but glad you're now in a position like this!! I'm 28, never been pregnant before, my partner is 30 so we are ready 😍

xttcbabyno1x · 24/07/2022 21:42

@H1994 I do too! But I had a miscarriage when I was 18, fell pregnant from a split condom, took the morning after pill but it failed, so ever since the miscarriage I have been waiting for my partner to feel ready!

I'm 25 now and actually in a good position to raise a child so I'm glad we waited. How about you? Xx

@xttcbabyno1x hopefully? And I feel exactly the same but felt a bit selfish to say I hope it's quick, because I know for so many, it's really not!... but yes, baby dust sprinkled your way! How old are you if you don't mind me asking??

xttcbabyno1x · 24/07/2022 21:35

@H1994 to be fair if your cycles are shorter it would make total sense :) I'm hoping I have ovulated because it means I'm near the end of the TWW and I haven't had chance to symptom spot yet 🙈 I am really hoping it won't take too long xx

H1994 · 24/07/2022 21:31

@xttcbabyno1x apparently so?!... but who knows, every ovulation calculator I've used comes up with a different result so haha! We've DTD yesterday and today, I'm not sure I can manage tomorrow too haha but we will see... literally no idea how it's gunna go?!

And ahh okay... well we'll try not to symptom spot too much?! Hahaha

xttcbabyno1x · 24/07/2022 21:21

@H1994 ohh ovulation day CD 9 amazing !! The TWW isn't fun 😫 I'm CD 14 now and presuming I ovulated when I think I did (unless I get a peak in the next few days) then I'd be 6dpo today xx

@xttcbabyno1x 100%... it's probs very normal. So I'm CD9 (is that how you say it on here? Cycle day 9 and apparently ovulation day)... so now starts the TWW and we keep our fingers crossed 👀🙈🤗

xttcbabyno1x · 24/07/2022 21:13

@H1994 I think how we feel is totally normal ☺️ what cycle day are you now?? I can't remember if you said

@HoneyDragon thank you! I was very confused xx

Absolutely is. That’s why I have DD

H1994 · 24/07/2022 21:01

@xttcbabyno1x ahhh yay! That's so good! And yes... definitely, I'm so excited yet a little nervous! and haha that's a good excuse to start I think! 😂🙈

TheodoreMortlock · 24/07/2022 20:58

Yes it's possible. Happened to me the first cycle that I was TTC, I was joking that my ovaries must have got stage fright. Back to normal (although still quite early, around day 8-9) after that though.

pimlicoanna · 24/07/2022 20:55

Of course it's possible

xttcbabyno1x · 24/07/2022 20:54

@msb86 thank you! We actually DTD day 7th day of my cycle, I've been OPK checking since CD 8 so it could be I had a peak on day 6/7 so fingers crossed!

@H1994 yes it's my first cycle too!! i will drop you a message 😃 I'm excited, nervous all the above! We weren't going to start trying until September but ran out of condoms so said let's start now!! X

msb86 · 24/07/2022 20:51

Definitely! My cycles are usually around 25 days and I ovulate really early, usually around day 6 of my cycle.

H1994 · 24/07/2022 20:45

@xttcbabyno1x ahh bless you, it must be so hard to not stress though? Yeah this is my first cycle TTC #1!! So literally never done this before... is this your first cycle too? I think its gotta be fun still, but at the same time it's gotta be at the right time 😂 such a push and pull scenario!! If its your first month, maybe pm me and we can keep each other updated 😂

xttcbabyno1x · 24/07/2022 20:41

@H1994 I love that I wish I'd started like that but my cycles vary between 22-28 days and it's quite a big window, but my boyfriend told me to just put the ovulation tests away and let's just have fun for a bit which I will try and do next cycle because I've stressed myself out this cycle! Is this your first month TTC?

@H1994 honestly drives me mad sometimes, like I'm sat testing OPK but realistically I could've already ovulated so it's just annoying hahaha xx

It is annoying! I'm not testing for ovulation yet... I just go with predictions on Flo and what my discharge is like (soz if that's TMI)! I said I'd give it 3 cycles of trying and if nothing then I'll start testing for ovulation 🙃😅

@H1994 thank you so much!! I vary between 22-28 days really, never any longer which is why im thinking it could've been a short cycle this month and that I've already ovulated x

Possibly! It's so hard to catch isn't it 🙃... x

Hi! Not sure if this helps but I have 22/25 day cycles and sometimes ovulate like 3/4 days after my period!? So I know it can be soon after!

xttcbabyno1x · 24/07/2022 19:52

@HairyKitty ahh thank you! I occasionally get a 22 or 23 day cycle so hoping that's what has happened this month!😊 I'll carry on testing with OPK to be sure x

NeedASolution · 24/07/2022 19:51

I think technically you can even ovulate during your period if you have short cycles. Unusual but possible.

HairyKitty · 24/07/2022 19:04

Yes and if it happens regularly it has a name, maybe long luteal phase? Luteal phase defect?
