Thanks Ei pain has subsided so not going to worry needlessly. Have been reading this site - it is really interesting for the 2wwers www.twoweekwait.com/web/early-pregnancy-symptoms.php

Evening ! Having said I had no symptoms I can now report a few pains, but they are worryingly to the side, obviously mind is in EP overdrive now . May just be wind I suppose but they were stabbing pains. Anyone had similar ? off to google myself into a tizzy

ScaryHairy · 14/02/2008 16:00

Hello as well to Treats. I don't think we've 'met' before.

ScaryHairy · 14/02/2008 15:58

Swalisman sorry - I had forgotten that you had a BFP before and hope you are ok. Could it be that one of the tests is faulty (preferably the negative one)? Maybe wait a day or two and take another one to be sure?

Glad the doctor was helpful Bucky. I bet that now you are doing something about it you will suddenly get your BFP!

Ei pmsl at "flower". We call my DD's a fanny, which is unfortunate, since my DH's friend from school has named her daughter Fanny. Ha ha! Do me a favour would you? Keep an eye out for me in those dreams of yours? I'm the dark haired lady, about 5'5" with a bit spot on my chin and in your dreams I am pregnant!!

coolkat I could be testing too early; of course I could. But somehow I can't help feeling that if I was pg they would come up positive early (cos I want them too). Yes, I know that is not very scientific, but it is how I want things to work here on planet Scary. Clearly it is time to be a bit more patient...

Hello to Oufton, Hatty, Mibbes and fp. I hope you're all well.

I've snuck off from work because I have an evil cold and because waking up at 4am never makes me feel too good. So me, my running nose, my aching left nipple and my cough are off to sleep. See you later

babblington · 14/02/2008 14:44

Scully - sorry not been online for a while - I've 2 dd's (3.7 and 19 months), two years and 7 days between them. Your gap seems much better!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 14/02/2008 14:36

aawwww shucks...thanks CK what a lovely thing to say my BF had a towel obsession as about 3/4yo so says her mum and one day they were in the supermarket and she was walking along squirming and her mum said to her 'whats the matter J do you need a wee?' and she turned around and said 'no mummy this' 'is f%$king killing my flower' my BF has never lived it down since i was told

Good Morning

Its cold here today, think I had got to used to the sunshine!!

Well still no AF here I thought I had killed the thread but thank god you all came back .

Bucky it sounds like you had a supportive doctor, I hope that this support continues but more importantly I hope you get your BFP soon.

Swaliswan, I am sorry you have had bad news. I hope that you are ok. X

Scary, could be to early? I am not testing until next week now as I am sick of wasting tests, also AF would of arrived by then.

Doghouse, sorry AF arrived, cycle 1 (don't mean that in a horrible way) but could be body getting ready for BFP for you next month! Heres wishing for you.

Hello to treats and Oufton, I do not think we have 'met' pleased to meet you.

Ei you are always so positive and smiley I bet you would be great to know in rl. Like the bus story! Once I forgot to put the flaps down on my towel and it stuck to my bits - Ouch!! - Sorry TMI!

Hello and sorry to anyone that I have missed. No other symptoms been to an adventure park and now I am shattered. Think I am getting old.

FurtivelyPosting · 14/02/2008 13:34

Hi everyone! Thanks for the greetings!

Hattyyellow - I temped this month but I did use OPKs too. They always confuse me though! It didn't help that the OPK results didn't tie in with my temps but I'm happy to go with the O date that the FF software gave me. I'm pleased with how we timed BDing this cycle - it fits well with both temps and OPK results. If I'm back to square one in 10 days time, I think I will just use up the OPKs I have left and not bother buying any more.

Oufton · 14/02/2008 13:32

my stepmum swore by Refreshers sweets for pregnancy heartburn - reckoned they are much tastier than Rennies!

hattyyellow - a rosette lol! Perhaps we can have a virtual one each month for most deserving BDer!

hattyyellow · 14/02/2008 13:26

ps good luck fp - heartburn is a good sign - I only ever had that when pregnant...everything crossed! Did you use opks or temps this month or both? Determined to try harder at all that this month...

hattyyellow · 14/02/2008 13:25

Thanks outfton feel I should have a certificate or something for my 10-dayer, or at least a rosette!

I guess in an ideal world we should all be ditching the careers and getting pregnant much younger when we have the energy to be at it loads and our bodies oh so fertile!

Good luck with your 2ww..sore/lumpy boobs can be a symptom..can also be a PMT symptom but you never can tell!

Oufton · 14/02/2008 13:20

hattyyellow I honestly do not think I could manage every other night for a month - how is it that we're all trying to make babies well after the initial lust period when you're at it 3 times a day! It's all so unfair. But I wish you lots of luck for next month and you should be rightly proud of the 10-day mission.

FP hello and welcome back to the 2ww.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 14/02/2008 13:20

mibbes by pants i mean trousers PMSL at the madness i was in my nursey uniform so i had got my knicknacks out i would prob get carted off and get the sack
hi there FP long time no see good that you are on the 2ww already at least that will mean you can test earlier!! also quite a few BFP ladies recently have been early Overs fingers crossed for you
xx ei xx

FurtivelyPosting · 14/02/2008 13:14

Hello again, ladies! I'm back in the 2WW now and a little earlier than expected! I've only had a very swift read through of the thread (I'd missed about 16 pages worth of posts!) so apologies if I miss things or am not entirely up to date.

GG - so glad to hear that DH finally saw sense. I really hope that this moves things forward for you now.

MTW - congratulations! What fantastic news! I'm really pleased for you.

DG - great to hear about your scan and so pleased to hear that all is going well.

Swaliswan - how're things? Any news? FWIW, I understand that it's impossible to get a false postive HPT result. Maybe the second brand you used was not as sensitive? Hope you're ok.

Sorry to hear about the BFNs. Wishing everyone luck for the next cycle.

I'm 4DPO now. I ovulated really early this cycle (CD11 - earliest ever for me), after EWCM started appearing on CD8 (again, way early for me). I've had loads more EWCM than ever before too (sorry if TMI ). I'm really hoping that these are all good omens but we shall see, I guess. Having some horrible heartburn today but I'm putting that down to last night's pizza. Bleurgh!

hattyyellow · 14/02/2008 13:14

Oufton every other night for a month I wish!

That's the advice given but I have no idea how anyone manages it..with my crazy cycles I have no idea how we're going to cover all bases this month

We were very proud of ourselves for doing every other day for 10 days this month with two toddlers already!

mibbes · 14/02/2008 13:13

PMSL Hatty that is a quality story !!
Ei did you get your pants out on the bus ??? That is far more worrying than the sanitary towel ! Methinks it is a symptom of something... maybe losing you marbles

hattyyellow · 14/02/2008 13:11

MRSei eek! How embarrassing - thank god it was clean!!

I remember that happening to a friend at school - who then walked out of the loo across a whole packed dining room with her skirt tucked into her knickers the next week!

I was so glad I'd gone to the loo before my meeting - I don't think anyone would have been concentrating on my presentation with my toothpastey dribble so obvious!

Oufton · 14/02/2008 13:10

ei that's priceless!
