Oh dear GG I have not said anything yet fr fear I might say something I regret. Luckily bucky has said pretty much what I would have.
I thikn big discussions are ahead and I don't envy you them, they are poo. By that I mean men, to talk to, they are poo
I was going to say perhaps he is frightemed that the problem is his and just won't face up to finding out either way, but I think it runs much deeper than that. Perhaps the agreement you made, to move away is what it frightening him. Horrible as it sounds, the longer there is no LO the longer he can live his life as it is.
My DH was rotten when DD came along. He wouldn't do night feeds or really anything in teh night without great big complaints taht he had to work. It was all V upsetting for me. Esp as I was BF and all he would say was to just feed her, but I had blocked duct, cracked nips and then mastitis. Feeding her was not always an option!!
I digress. The point is that he was frightened of the change. His brother had frightened the life out of him with stories of never getting any sleep for months on end, DH had new job so he figured if he just said no, I have to work, he wouldn't have to do it. Turned out our DD was a little marvel and not the scary creature DH had feared and that BIL and SIL were crazy people who only slept every other day to let the other sleep (one stayed awake ALL night to make sure the baby was ok, er durr!!)
The point, I am awful at advice aren't I is that his fear of fatherhood made him a horror to live with and once we got to the root of the problem I was able to calm him and get beyond it.
So, once you have got to the root f your DH's problem, I am sure you will be albelt o mve on.
Its been 13 months for you guys now though, isn't it? That is a long time to go through this. 7 months is bad enough for me
And defo AF arrival is never a good time for at least 2-3 days.
My black eye is worse!! I feel so paranoid that people can see it but are saying nothing and thinking the worst of my DH!!
Although I met my neighbour and she said she hadn't noticed. Nothing to do with the new hat I bought or my fringe practically coverng I suppose
And, no BD for us last night with a wry DH had fallen asleep by the time I got upstairs how do they do it? Fall alseep as soon as their heads hit the pillow? I can't, really wish I could though.
Made a date for this afternoon though
sorry for the mega post!!
