Good luck for all the testing this weekend everyone.

07MTW - don't stress about chemical pg's, you got a lovely BFP and this one will be a sticky one

Shock update - I got a call from DH this morning to say that he had been to the hospital this morning for the sperm test . He didn't tell me he was going, i think because he didn't want any "I told you so" or whatever comments. I am going to let this blow over now, he has made the effort to go, even though eh worked a 13 hour day yesterday, so I think he is apologising by actions not words for our argument at the weekend. Feel really light and happy today .

He said it was very funny and there was a queue of very sheepish blokes all standing waiting for the clinic to open at 9am. There were two little rooms and he was third so had to wait for it to become free. He hadn't expected to get free hard core prn (videos and magazines) on the NHS and had taken the precaution of buying his own stash on the way from our local newsagent. Apparently, I shouldn't mind him buying lots of prn because it is for the "greater good". I don't!

willmouse

Sorry abt your BFN, did u use a CB digital? I'm still feelin low, and wondering weather to broach TTC no 3!

mibbes · 07/02/2008 10:02

MTW Unfortunately can't bd again tonight as we are not trying we are just seeing what happens so can't keep demanding sex without dp clicking that am obsessing !
willmouse have you been testing with first wee of the day ? Maybe best to wait until tomorrow and test first thing if still no AF. I had a long wait for AF last cycle - it is soo frustrating, but let's hope yours is delayed for a full 9 months
HCB JollyBear 14dpo today, are you testing ? Are your temps still high ? Hvae everything crossed for you !

MrsPuddleduck · 07/02/2008 09:51

Hi

mibbles I put my details in on Fertility Friend this cycle and it said I was still fertile for the day after the fertile CM went away. You will definitely be in with a shot! Good luck.

I am now on CD38 with no sign of AF. My boobs are sore today so I presume AF may arrive. I am still debating when to do another test (I have had 2 BFNs on CD33 nad CD36)

Basically I am just sat here in limbo.

07mumstheword · 07/02/2008 08:21

Mibbes How strange. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. At least you BD'd last night perhaps again tonight just incase?

mibbes · 07/02/2008 08:15

Morning Ladies - MrsEi and Bucky, ooohh nearly the weekend now so the wait will be over , any symptoms apart from bad backs ? or are you hoping to do a MTW and get BFP after none !
Well after my dip in temp it is back to a normal pre-ov temp today... was fully expecting the rise today. Also decided to do an opk this morning and +ve ! Am very confused as was convinced EWCM had dried up last night (although bd'd anyway)... no idea what is going on now, anyway will just have to wait for the rise... Sometimes knowing what is going on is more confusing than not !

07mumstheword · 07/02/2008 08:04

Scully I mean't to say I read you post with as usual Don't wear DH out over the next few days

07mumstheword · 07/02/2008 08:02

Mrsei I don't really know when my due date is because my periods are a bit irregular anything from 25-30 days. I'm CD25 today but last month was CD30.

Bucky I normally test really early sometimes I've even done it at 9 dpo (actually I did this month too it was BFN but on 11 dpo it was positive). I know you OV a bit later than me cycle buddy so how many dpo are you/will you in in 3 days?

I have to say though knowing early just makes you worry early.

scully · 07/02/2008 00:17

Gosh, so a few people testing this weekend, how exciting DH is back today, after being away since Monday, he timed it well too as today is cd11, so he's going to be kept busy over the next week. Did an opk on Tues and it said I wasn't ovulating, am going to do another one today because I don't think it's too far away. Had another friend tell me she is pregnant yesterday, via email though so made it easier. So that is 4 people I know due in Feb/Mar (what should have been when I was due) and another 3 friends due between July and October. I'm so happy for all of them, just feel a bit for me, but we are so lucky to have 2 dd's already, try not to dwell on it all too much.
How are the bad backs, any improvement? GG, I don't have scoliosis, that is curvature of the spine, I have a tiny bit missing that seems to make a big different
32deg here today, hot hot hot Mind you yesterday afternoon it poured rain, we had 100mm in an hour so finally the dams are filling up Our watertank is being plumbed in today (so I'll use tank water for the washing machine), and will now be able to water the garden, wash the car etc, all those things you can't do with mains water. But of course it will stop raining now that we have a fully functioning tank
Hello to everyone

Bucky2008 · 06/02/2008 22:04

Duh, laptop said that twice not me!

I really want to test, waiting for 3 more days is going to be sooo difficult!

Bucky2008 · 06/02/2008 22:01

MrsEi Actually meant 'bad back buddies' , bit of a freudian slip perhaps bad bad buddies would probably be appropriate for me however.

Try not to worry O7, its easy to say but so far so good. How early did you test with your CPs?

MrsEI I must confess that I have been on the due oct thread. It's nice to hear others symptoms or rather lack of them at this early stage. I'd love you to come over holding Bucky's hand too.

MrsEi25 · 06/02/2008 20:31

Mrsei I do hope you get your BFP this weekend too. The very best of luck to you.

07mumstheword · 06/02/2008 20:28

Mrsei Thanks It's like the my glass is half full or half empty senario I will heed (sp?) your wise words.

MrsEi25 · 06/02/2008 20:25

MTW dont look at the negative side of things look at the fact that 50% of pregs are sticky non chem pregsiyswim it is perfectly normal to have stretchy pains in early preg so relax and dont stress until you need to as chances are you wont need to

07mumstheword · 06/02/2008 20:21

Oh no just been to catch up in the waiting room to see a msg saying 50% of PG are chemical PG's. I don't want to hear that right now so I'm going into hiding!

07mumstheword · 06/02/2008 20:18

Bucky I'm glad your back it better and good luck for testing at the weekend.

I'm CD24 and normally have a 26-28 day (ish) cycle. I know why I test early (CP blah blah blah) but I wish I hadn't now. I've had some cramps/stretchy sensations low down (which could be perfectly normal) but I'm worried. I'm not even "officially" late yet and here I am worrying about this pregnancy!

coolkat · 06/02/2008 20:10

Bucky - bad back being better could mean egg implanted ! Keep fingers crossed.

A hamburger is not being a pig, having sour sweets, chocolate cream bar, toffee sweet and bag of crisps is being a pig
Why do I always pig out when DH not here.

MrsEi25 · 06/02/2008 20:07

oooh bucky we could have a test-a-thon PMSL at the bad bad buddies (its all about the songs for me this week as i sung "bad to the bone b-b-b-b-b-baaad!!"in my head obv.)

CKi will do my best not to disappoint but i dont think it is a symptom for me (thats my story and im sticking to it) but who knows...i did however have a bad back all the way through my preg with DD right from the BFP i was achey but i did have a persistant UTI aswell so it might have been that

Bucky2008 · 06/02/2008 20:03

Oooh MrsEi we could be testing buddies as well as bad bad buddies! although I need to invest in some good stuff as only have my ebay cheapies. I will be 12 dpo on Sunday and AF is due on Saturday/Sunday. So I figure if she doesnt arrive on Saturday I will test on Sunday. I don't really have any symptoms, I had a weird craving for a MacDonalds hamburger on the way home, but I think that is because I am a pig. Ooh and my bad back is almost better hurrah.

Not really hopeful again this month but I am trying to be a positive. Hopefully the reflexology has worked!!

OOh this is all about me (no change there then!!).

07MTW glad you are feeling ok. When would AF have been due, so we know when you are officially late?
