Am I pregnant again? (I have a 12 week old!)

I had a niggle the other day so did a Frer in the afternoon ...nothing.... Until I opened it up (I know that makes it invalid) and then I could clearly see a line on the reverse side (the matt side, not the shiny side)
So I assumed it's an indent.

Then I did another Frer the next day (yesterday) and same thing, nothing until I opened it and then I could see an ident line.

This afternoon I did a Clearblue and same again...an indent. Or is it?

I know all 3 tests are now invalid but I'm still curious (yes, I'll keep testing!)

I'm breastfeeding and haven't had a period yet.

The 'niggle' has been vivid dreams, metallic taste and crying over the silliest things.

Mainly wondering if it's possible to get 3 consecutive indents from 2 different brands...any thoughts?

Grimoven, just yuck.

Sorry OP, fingers crossed for you.

Update...
I've stuck to FRERs the last 2 mornings in a row and nada...so I'm counting myself out (for now)

There is a coloured line there, so you are pregnant. Congratulations! It's probably very early days. I'd wait another week and then try again with first morning urine.

I really hope you get this good news OP. I love hearing that you are (sorry to say it) an older mum but have had such a good pregnancy, birth and newborn stage. I'm 10 years younger than you and single, would love to be a mum and am getting worried. To hear of a 41 year old having an easy time of it makes me smile and gives me hope. All the best!

Definitely being an older mum is my preference...I also have an 11 year old so I can compare the two quite easily.

Physically I might not be where I was at 30 but mentally/emotionally and importantly financially I am in a much better position and it's allowing me to enjoy this second baby so much more than the first time round.

You still have heaps of time on your side x

There is no way on Warth I'd have some greasy tail near my nunny so soon after giving birth.

WTF

I think I might have got that wrong above sorry - shouldn't post during night wakings.

In terms of sensitivity I think it is

Most sensitive and should show positive first - First Response Early Result
Next most sensitive and should show positive next - Clearblue
Least sensitive and should show positive last - First Response Rapid Result

So if the Clearblue says yes but the Rapid Result says no it might just be a matter of time !!

This is good info to know for next time I need to restock my pregnancy test stash haha

Two close together was busy but fun: two lots of nappies/two to lift and carry around as my son was exactly 12 months old when my daughter was born (she was five weeks early) and he didn’t walk until 14-15 months!

I’m quite a fit old bird 😆

Love reading this...it's exactly what I hope to accomplish. I think it will continue to keep me young!

Absolutely diddly squat on a FRER this morning so I'm going to stop testing now and carry on with tracking my ovulation instead (got to pee on something right?)

Dying to know! I fell pregnant at 41 when my baby son was 16 weeks old 😄

Goals!
How did you find it having 2 so close together?

I had a dream pregnancy and home birth with miss 12 weeks so I'm feeling confident I can go another round sometime soon.
She is also a very easy baby (so far)

I'll update tomorrow when I've done yet another morning test.
I'm out of clearblue and only have Frer left.

Surely IF I was pregnant the Frer would show up tomorrow as it's been 3 days of blue lines on CB ... I'm trying to be realistic and not get my hopes up!

Buy a pack of 100 tests from amazon

I have everything crossed for you
They look positive to me xx

startfresh · 17/07/2022 04:54

I personally found CB more reliable than FR which took ages to show me a positive.

Although I wouldn't trust any broken open and be wary of any positives after the time stated. I don't think doing either of these things can cause CB to be rubbish as they're being misused against the instructions.

Although a line showing up within the time limit on a CB, I have never had an issue with.

ohblahdeeohblahdahlifegoeson · 17/07/2022 03:53

Summary...the clear blue early result tests are rubbish!
3 blue lines in a row but nothing on frer

TheKipperAndTheCorpse · 17/07/2022 03:12

Are you definitely using First Response Early Result and not Rapid Result?

I think the Clearblue is less sensitive than Rapid Result but more sensitive than Early Result. Definitely see a line to me.

I quickly double checked but they are the rapid ones...I wouldn't have thought to double check on that though so thanks for the heads up

I see a line on the cab and the frer!

I wish that was the case but alas there's not...I've peered at it from every angle in every light lol
