Hey,
Is there anybody else on tww after 1st round of clomid? Haven’t seen much posts here re clomid.
we have been ttc for nearly 5 years, I have mild pcos, but so far no luck except for 2 chemicals last year. My gp gave me clomid prescription. I went for day 21 bloods, she said lh and pg looks good.
im on day 29 now, just tested and got very faint lines on 3 tests, praying this month is lucky, it has been heartbreaking time ttc for so long

Hi,

I know this is an old post but I'm adding this for anyone who found this post after a long time. I have been trying to get pregnant for 13 years before having 2 miscarriages. I approached my GP about letrozole (as I had clomid once 13 years ago) but my GP wants all these tests and the waiting lists are endless and they say they cannot prescribe it.

My GP said I was referred to the fertility clinic last July but it turns out no referral was ever made because they need certain tests they never told me about! In the meantime I tried going private. More tests that cost a bunch of money I don't have. I then consulted a Dr in Germany (I am German and I read a woman's post saying she went to Germany and had it prescribed there and then) to ask the Dr how to get clomid from a German Gyno.

So he sends me this website (at bottom of post) and says it may be better suited! The pharmacy prescribed 3 cycles of Clomid after a short questionnaire. They will only prescribe it though if you recently took it, so just answer all questions honestly apart from where it says have you taken it before and how long ago. Just say recently prescribed 1 cycle and taken last month.

Mine came a few days ago and I'm on my second tablet. 🤞 It works...

Amazing @AnnMii congratulations! ❤️ I'm 7dpo on my 5th round of clomid 🤞🏼🥰

AnnMii · 28/07/2022 20:30

@Brunette1652 thank u so much 🥰
To be honest I had 0 side effects while taking it so I was thinking it’s not working for me, also I was bit mad with dh as we dtd only like 4 times in whole month, so I was sure it was wasted month.
Got such a big surprise when I did my usual test around the time of my period, hubby is over the moon, praying so hard it sticks 😇 hopefully will get scan next week to confirm everything.

Try clomid and hopefully it’s same success for you hun, don’t overthink it. Xxx

@AnnMii isn’t that amazing news! Six weeks along how exciting! I’m going private next month so hoping and have everything crossed that we get started on clomid as soon as we go as I’ve had the scans and bloods and husband has done same so hoping to get the ball rolling asap. How was clomid when you were taking it? Great to see so many first time success stories!

AnnMii · 27/07/2022 17:12

How are u all doing ladies?

Just quick update from me, I’m 6 weeks pregnant, this was my first cycle of clomid after 5 years ttc, I also have pcos and have been struggling for so long it still doesn’t feel reall.

im wishing you all best of luck, and be pushing your gps, private docs etc and you will get there x never loose hope x

@Brunette1652 yeah I did. I used Ava, Mira and OPKs. And they all detected ovulation so I was hopefully from that as I usually see nothing, but it's been so long I don't track properly anymore really.

Brunette1652 · 26/07/2022 12:02

@Longbin that’s amazing! Did you Opk test too this cycle? That’s amazing that you got the ewcm and it worked on your first cycle! Amazing

Longbin · 26/07/2022 11:39

Thanks @Brunette1652! It was my first cycle. No I don't, but I don't think I ovulate naturally as I never have EWCM and I noticed some this month when I took clomid, and had some during IVF too. The doctor thinks I do ovulate, but my progesterone is always borderline and when I've tested it earlier in the cycle it's always a bit elevated.

Brunette1652 · 26/07/2022 11:19

@Longbin congratulations!! Was that your first cycle? Do you have pcos?

Longbin · 26/07/2022 09:53

I have a BFP! 🎉

I have pcos and have a cycle once or twice a year. I was given clomid for my first child and it work first time been ttc again and not being successful So back on the clomid this month I was maybe 90 odd days since my last AF so they didn’t say wait for AF just take it so I had 50mg clomid on 4th July to the 8th July. I started feeling aching symptoms from left ovary on the 9th and 10th July I was using Pearl a home ovulation detection and the results were going up and down daily, as seen in the image below. The blue line is FSH and the pink is LH, So yesterday I had the gynaecology scan and she said I had definitely ovulated on the left side, so I ovulated somewhere within 6 days after finishing clomid I think around the 12th or 13th July, the scan showed an endo lining of 9.63mm too which I believe is good for implantation. now I’m in the two week window and praying we have timed everything correctly, my other half said he put arm bands on his swimmers so they have more chance of meeting the egg 🤣 got to love his sense of humour, that helps with my stressed head over obsessing about ovulation and tww and so on

anyways I hope this story helps and I will let you know the results in two weeks, fingers crossed 🤞 good luck to everyone on here xx

just updating from my first post if it helps anyone who is also on the same journey, I think I am 8dpo today I’ve had slight brownish CM and a few niggles. Two days ago I was sitting up in bed and the movement gave me a sudden sharp pain down there not sure what happened there. Desperate for a BFP. Has anyone else had brownish CM 8dpo?
sending baby dust to everyone x

It does take an emotional toll. I was doing a counselling course around the time I fell pregnant. Having something different but positive in my life that wasn’t related to conception was really helpful for me.

Sending you baby dust and hoping it works for you. X

Longbin · 16/07/2022 13:16

@AnnMii in Greece. It's about 2.50 over the counter for a pack that lasts months!

genericusername789 · 16/07/2022 09:48
