@Nikster8012 hi, thank you for the reply. I believe that that Chinese acupuncture helped me. I had 2 x MMC within a year. I then started having acupuncture to help with the trauma to my body and regulate my cycles and within 6 months I was pregnant and had my little boy. I was 39 when he was born. I've started having acupuncture again. Good luck to you aswell x

Hiya I can add to this. I am 44. Ivf failed. Now I am using Chinese medicence and acupuncture. I have been using it just one month and due to ovulate any day. I cant afford another IVF aggrrrr but Chinese medicene I heard such wonderful things.
I will let you know if we manage it !!! Never give up hope !!! I kind of want to give up as my heart breaks every month but I am too stubborn to ever quit.
Anyway, my friend just had a baby naturaully and she is 44. My other mate had one at 46.

Hi @Rainbows121 , I've just had a very disappointing IVF cycle aged 44.10 so I really hope someone can give good news about natural conception over 45. Only had IVF as I'm single so need to find a man pretty quickly ha. I have read a few posters mention (in the usual "how old is too old to have a baby posts on aibu) that they conceived at 44ish so it's definitely possible.

I'm 44 , TTC number 2. Had my daughter at 40 (2 weeks after my 40th to be exact 😊).
Have been trying for number 2 for 18 months now....nothing 😖

Only took 6 months to conceive DD...

Losing a bit of hope and thinking it's not going to happen...

Now I am 44 and trying the Chinese herb and acupuncture.
Great your homones are good. I think my amh is 3.8 kinda normal I think. Sorry I don't know what the test is for.

Hello y'all ... has anyone had any luck ??
I am 44 and ttc for almost 2 years. We managed a baby at age 40 but since then no more luck. I even paid for a round of ivf but no success.
I take all the vitamins gave up smoking and drinking etc. Hhmmm thing is, it's actually on my mind 24/7 and I wish it would just stop ruling my life.
I am due on in a day or so. Had cramps 5dpo but then I am getting that a lot lately.
I always cramp after I ovulate too. I think AF will arrive soon and thinking about just ditching this dream and having counselling to try to deal with it. Sounds extreme I know.
But, my OH is 12 years younger and doesn't have kids which is why we want to extend our family. (I have 3 already), and OH is my utter soul mate. Crazy life stuff !
I guess the universe has a plan !
Anyone any tips or advice?

Hi all, so I broke an despite still being 2 days away l tested and its a bfp, am now almost wishing I hadn't as at least if period arrives in next few days week, I wouldn't have known, am now feeling a misery guts as should be happy!!

Period arrived this morning to my relief and even if the long cycle was the start of perimenopause, as long as I am still getting periods, I am in with a small chance :) Hope everyone's having a good day and managing to stay cool!

Thank you, yes it’s very frustrating! I have been getting mild period style cramps for the past couple of weeks, but no period! Also my resting heart rate is higher than usual which I’ve got every time I’ve been pregnant, but negative pregnancy tests cannot lie. Could be the start of perimenopause I guess.

Our DS is 5 now, I did stress a bit the first couple of years we have been trying for #2 about the ever widening potential age gap, but now I can see the benefits of a larger one (if we ever get there!).

Hi :) Could I join you guys as a fellow 44 year old. We've been TTC #2 for 4 years now, I had two miscarriages one in in 2018 & one in 2019. Since then not even a hint of a line. I've had recent blood tests and apparently not nearing the menopause yet. I am currently 10 days late for my period (which is usually pretty regular), but negative pregnancy tests so i have no idea what is going on this month 🤷🏻‍♀️ For the first time in ages I am wishing my period would appear!

@appleaday12 I’m sorry 😢 it’s rubbish isn’t it!
There has to be one good egg left I tell myself!
We usually do every other day starting about day 10 right up to day 18 but I usually ovulate quite regularly. Get plenty of EWCM too which is another god indicator.
Maybe TMI but I have a tilted uterus so on the peak days my OH finishes Doggy Style because apparently that’s a better position if you have a tilted uterus.
It worked when I had my DD that was so not going to change it!
The only thing I’m not doing is acupuncture which I did before. It really helped lengthen my luteal phase but I just can’t afford it this time unfortunately!

Pretty sure I’m out this month too but I’ll test in a couple of days anyway.

@Hoping77 ☹️ AF showed up this morning....I'm out for this month.

Trying to stay positive but had a cry in the shower this morning.

This next cycle I'm going to try and every other day approach and going up to Day 15 to cover all bases.

Going to start testing with OPKs from Day 8...

My cycles are 24 , pretty regular.

Im on day 19 so will probably test in a few days.
In all my pregnancies I’ve always got a bfp as early as 7dpo.
Already have some mild cramping that feels ominously like AF is on her way 😩

So an update...I'm on Day 26....usually cycles are 24!
No sign of AF yet.
Ive had some of the usual PMS symptoms but this time had a headache more than usual and felt so tired yesterday but this could all be AF about to knock!
I'm going to see how tonight goes before I test.
AF will probably turn up in the morning .....
Not getting my hopes up....

@Hoping77 I'm using the Clearblue OPK which have given me some static faces!! Usually day 11. I have a 24 day cycle, regular.
I did try temping but just with a chemist thermometer..,,not accurate I'd say.
I take Blackmores conceive vitamin combo.
DH takes vitamins as well - Menvit.

@appleaday12 thank you. Not at the moment no I’m using the dual indicator ovulation indicators from clear blue.
I used to use an AVA watch which was good for temping through the night, that was pretty accurate but it’s expensive.
the strap broke though so not used since.

What tracking are you using?

Morning all, hope all well, ive been using opk and an app, and they are tying in together, 8 days left till next period due and having to lock all test kits away to not test early.

Hi there, I’m 45 (just turned 2 days ago) and TTC my 2nd.
struggled with my 1st after 6 MC but went on a trial for progesterone after BFP and had my DD who will be 3 in November.
Not holding much hope at all but still trying!
ovulate regularly day 12-14 but luteal phase is shorter now and period comes around day 26.

Still take conception vitamins but stopped Ubiquinol due to cost. Wonder if I should start again?

I got a couple of BFP’s in the 1st year after having my DD (which ended in Period starting few days after) but nothing since.

thinking I will def need progesterone again if I get lucky but I’m not on the trial anymore and GP just won’t do anything now due to my age 😞 x
