July SMEP - anyone joining?

I’m on CD6. Starting SMEP for the first time in 2 days. Anyone else? Let’s encourage and support each other. 😀

i feel absolutely fine, i had no breast tenderness after ov which was different for me but I'm starting to get it now, I did have headaches from about 4-8dpo which I assume was just surge of hormones etc. Oh and I was in such a mood 8dpo, angry & emotional!!

@Baby3herewego I am good thanks. Not entirely sure what DPO I am. Had a surge Saturday night and it was gone by Yesterday so I think I’m about 2DPO. SO nothing to report yet.

Just thought I'd update ladies, I had a vvfl on easy at home yesterday(9dpo) and a little darker today at 10dpo!! Hasn't sunk in yet & haven't told anybody, I'm going to keep testing until af due just to be sure, maybe smep does actually work?!

@Baby3herewego for me one said CD14 the other CD15 took another OPK today and my LH had rocketed to 1.5 thankfully that was after todays impromptu quickie. Tested about an hour ago and it had dropped so hopefully i have a lil bun in my oven. Feeling super bloated and had some sharp shooting pains. #TeamTWW

@Blessedmummytobe my apps all said OV yesterday or today but I haven’t had any real signs of it so who knows. Just going to keep at it for another few days and keep our fingers crossed.

And so the TWW begins. 1/2 DPO according to the apps I use. DTD this morning. I’m resting tomorrow. Knackered! Hoping and praying for BFP’s for all of us x

@Blessedmummytobe I feel you on the exhaustion but prepared to give it another go if this month isn't successful, 6dpo today no signs or symptoms, I'll test at 10dpo I think just because I'm a POAS addict, I'm still tracking LH which remains low so we shall see 🤞

I am day 15 but still no LH rise yet. I have now convinced myself that I am infertile, but am aware I only came off the pill three months ago so may take some time for my cycles to re-regulate.

Fingers crossed the rise will come soon, I don't think I could cope with every other day until my period comes!

@Blessedmummytobe I am also quite exhausted, but also finding it really lovely to get some quality time with my husband.

Hi all. CD1 here, just broke the news to DH that AF has turned up & we will be bonking like rabbits this month 😆 he didn’t look too disappointed! Ovulation predicted for 19th. Im 31, cycle 2 and I’m planning on using the fertilily cup and pre seed this month - not been trying long but need to get preg ASAP for various reasons.
as for EWCM, as pp if you haven’t been thinking dirty thought and it’s very stretchy then that’s probably it! I don’t get much since DD born for some reason so not reliable for me.

@Blessedmummytobe I tend to think if it’s there for a few hours and your not thinking dirty thoughts then it’s probably EWCM 😂

If you think you could OV up till CD17 then I’d say there is still time for a peek to pop up. Just keep DTD and fingers crossed.

Hello Hello!

CD13 for me today. DTD every day since CD5 except CD8 and 10 as I thought they were safe rest days given i expect to ovulate between CD14-17. I’m a bit on edge though as I seem to not be getting a surge. The highest I had was on CD10 at .51. I’m starting to think I have a bad batch of OPKS as the control line isn’t even getting that dark either (pics attached). So now I’m still testing but not really following that.

How can I tell the difference between EWCM and arousal fluid.

Checked today before I DTD and there was quite a bit of clear stretchy EW consistency discharge but not sure if it was CM or I was turned on lol.

Also I keep have weird bouts of nausea. In the morning when I wake up and evenings like now….

Ahhh who said being a woman was easy eh.

BTW how old is everyone? I’m 37.

@Blessedmummytobe how is it going today? My CM had just started getting eggy 😁just going to keep BDing every day for the next 4-6 days! Hubby is loving it.

Me! I'm on CD11 of the 4th cycle trying. I kind of accidentally started doing SMEP because on the first cycle I had a CP and we DTD just twice and not again on ovulation, so I proved to myself that I can get pregnant.

I have a 33-35 day cycle, so I'll be tracking my LH levels and DTD every other day from CD14, ie this coming Saturday. My follicular phase varies between 13 and 16 days, so I could get LH surge anywhere from CD18 to CD 21. Very annoying. Though my luteal phase is consistently 14 days. I use OPKs and I temp.

We'll be doing CD14, CD16, CD18, CD20, CD22. If I ovulate on CD19, then we'll also DTD on CD18 and CD19 back to back, if I ovulate on CD20, then we'll DTD on CD19 and CD20 back to back and so on and so on.

I am very new to this, but is looks like we are in the same position (same day of cycle, still having negative ovulation strips!). It's really nice to have someone who is in the same boat!

I came off the pill 3 months ago and my cycle is still a bit all over the place (26, 27 then 31 days), so finding things difficult to predict as it is my first month trying.

im still waiting for my ‘surge’! And WET/EWCM…

I keep getting nausea in the morning and afternoon too but no sore boobs as usual around mid cycle.

…I shall continue on…

4dpo today, we missed the last bd of smep but hoping all the bd before it was enough! Only thing I've noticed different this cycle is my boobs aren't sore🤔 usually they are from ov until af, no idea why

@Blessedmummytobe CD 11 today and have very copious amounts of wet CM. Tmi but it’s actually dripping ( thought I’d pee’d myself 😂) we’ve BD’d every day so far!

Hi everyone, How’s it going?

Managed every other day so far. No peak yet but going to start to DTD every day now.

My periods are regular so I’m sure my peak will come. Just not sure if I’m drinking too much and giving myself weak results.
