Is anyone testing around 11th July

Hey all, 👋I've been following this group for a week now. Congrats on the positives coming through!

I'm due AF on the 11th and driving myself crazy wondering if its pms or early signs. Told myself I wouldn't test early but of course I've tested twice and they've both been BFNs.

Can someone help with managing emotions around testing?
I had a BFN this morning and that’s 11 DPO. Is the game up? Or can I still be optimistic? AF due on Monday.

I thought I’d lost it yesteday - my cheap test was barely visible and I’m not due AF till next Wednesday. However did this test last night and is it common for a false positive clear blue digital? I doesn’t seem real. I haven’t really any symptoms 🤯 I even bought a pack of tampons as convinced I was going to come on AF early. First month TTC so didn’t expect it.

These are my tests from this morning, clear blue showed a very faint line straight away, not sure if darker than yesterday. Hint of a squinter on the cheapie!

AF due here today, no sign of her yet and I have no tests 😰 I forgot to proceed to check out on Amazon 🙈🤣
So if she doesn't show her face by the time I leave work then I will stop off to purchase some on my way home.
I have no symptoms for pregnancy or AF which is very strange, I'm thinking covid will have delayed it 😔

I tested this morning using a clear blue and got a BFN again 😢 10dpo today I think. Might try the FRER I've got tomorrow and see what that says.... not feeling too hopeful at this point in time 🥺😢

My test looks similar to yours (or maybe my brain is tricking me) 😂. I still have 6 days before I am meant to test when my period is due...this is ‘baby’ no 2 for me - but 5 th pregnancy - I usually don’t get symptoms until 5 weeks. No symptoms really other than period type cramps and slightly sore boobs which is normal for me tho before my period.

Hi there I’m due on my period 12th July - only second month ‘trying’. I got really impatient and tried a cheap own brand Morrisons test this afternoon. I may have totally lost it..but I’m sure I can see a faint cross? Or am I cracking up🙄😂 it’s been a long day at work 😂

Oh and I also did a test today, a bfn, although I’m only 9 or 10 dpo now so I know realistically it’s just still too early.
I’ve not had any more symptoms, feeling very normal actually, not even had any more cramps and no spotting yet so I’m taking that as a good sign because AF never comes without spotting first.

I usually would use those but I couldn't get any in my local shop! I have another one of these to use so I'll go again in the morning and if still unsure I'll go on a hunt for an FRER!

@mamazac i think I see the beginning of something, have you tried a FRER. I think pink dye tests are better than blue for early detection. Fx for you xx

@Rainbowbaby13 thank you ❤️ if I get a bfp on Monday I will not be taking any codeine from then, tbh though I feel like I'm out this month as my cramps are really bad. I'm hoping if / when we do fall pregnant I wouldn't need it anyway as I only use it for the extreme period pains I've been getting since the mc.

Its bizarre as prior to that I never had bad periods 😔

FYI ladies, I've posted this question as it's own thread but just wondered if anyone here had any thoughts as I'm worrying about what I should do, sorry for the long post.

Even though the GP has just assured me it's fine I'm still worrying so I was just wondering if anyone had any similar stories...

I had a mc 2 years ago and since then have suffered incredibly painful periods (numerous tests, exams with no concrete diagnosis). I have been managing the pain during my period and the run up to it with 30mg codeine, sometimes x6 times a day (on the rare occasion I take the max of x8).

Haven't taken any since early June as we are finally given the all clear to start trying again.

I am currently 9dpo and getting bad cramping (sadly normal for me now).

I called my GP to explain and to ask if it would be safe to have another codeine prescription, particularly as if this isn't a positive pregnancy then I know my period will hit with a vengeance and it makes work/normal life etc. really difficult.

She has said that I don't need to wait to test and that I am safe to take codeine now even if I do test positive on Tuesday when AF is due, she said its actually safe in moderation until the third trimester, although I'd hope if I was pregnant the period pains would stop being an issue...

I'm so torn because I am in pain but I feel so so guilty even thinking of taking it in case I may be pregnant, and I desperately wouldn't want to do anything that may harm our chances.
