Is anyone testing around 11th July

My 2 week wait starts tomorrow. I use the clue app which says my ovulation day is today so we'll DTD today and tomorrow and have been doing it everyday since Friday.

This is our 6 cycle trying for baby number 2 our little boy just turned 1. We had 2 miscarriages before my son was born and had a chemical pregnancy in May just gone.

I'd love some company along the way. Sending baby dust to everyone

Hi everyone I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far.
I'm on day 5 of having covid and still confined to bed with terribly sore ears 😭 I did manage a quick shower this morning however it zapped all energy I had, but I feel fresher for it.

I think I'm around 8/9DPO so trying not to get hung up on testing as of yet, but I am going to order some tests of Amazon today just in case 🤞🏼🤞🏼

If this cycle is unsuccessful I am going to order conceive plus vitamins and the other half will make an appointment to see his GP as my tests have all came back normal thankfully.

Has anyone crumbled to poas yet?xx

sunnyside238 · 02/07/2022 12:40

@Rainbowbaby13 my LB is 15 months! So if I get pregnant this month their birthdays will be very close.. I also had a chemical in early May. Hopefully this is our month

Had a nap and still feel awful

Rainbowbaby13 · 02/07/2022 12:05

@sunnyside238 I definitely drink more coffee now than I used to 😂 my boy turned 1 at the end of May how about you?

sunnyside238 · 02/07/2022 11:23

@Rainbowbaby13 I went off tea and coffee too in last pregnancy! I don't know how I will survive this time round without it

How old is your LO?

Rainbowbaby13 · 02/07/2022 11:17

I'm trying really hard not to symptom spot but yesterday morning I had a cup of tea which made me sick and last time I was pregnant I went off tea and coffee early on

I'm sure its just a coincidence because it's far too early

How is everyone?

I am dying to test as I feel so sick, all last night I felt sick and still feel sick now

Having to have a lay down whilst my toddler naps 😭

AF due on the 6th apparently but I think I might of ovulated a day or so late so could be 7th/8th

Mum2be86 · 02/07/2022 10:37

@Rainbowbaby13 yeah I’ve been trying to work mine out had a static smiley on CB test on the 27th and 28th and positive on another test on the 28th. Fingers crossed.

I hope it works out for you xx

Rainbowbaby13 · 02/07/2022 10:34

@Mum2be86 according to my app I'm 5DPO but I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated. We didn't wait after our early loss just kept going but we had to wait one month after our second loss because I had the d&c. I know a few people that caught really quickly after an early loss so fingers crossed for you

I'll probably start testing around the 6th just with the cheap strip tests

@LaVitesse2022 I can think of worse ways to be woken up 😂

Hi everyone, joining in as my AF is due 12th July so waiting to test then if it doesn't arrive. 33 yo, TTC #1 and this is cycle 3 though first one actually tracking OPK and dtd purposefully to target ovulation (we set the alarm at 6am one day to dtd because that was the only time it worked. DP suggested half-jokingly the evening before but I took it seriously - if we're gonna try it then let's do it properly! 😂)

Mum2be86 · 02/07/2022 07:11

@Rainbowbaby13 how many days post ovulation are you now?
i think I’m around 5/6 days I’m actually unsure, keep having the urge to test but I know it’s to early yet, AF is due in 11 days according to my app but know that absolutely anything can happen as my early miscarriage only happened on the 13th June (well that was the first day of the bleed) I know it was prob to early to try again but we both felt 100% ready.

im so scared this time round though and just don’t know what to expect. Xx

Sawa75 · 02/07/2022 06:36

I think I'm ahead of everyone else. 7 dpo today, though I felt some cramps yesterday but il sure all in my head. Otherwise nothing today although I've been waking up stupid early for the last week. Prob the excitement. I think I will test on Tuesday or Wednesday at 10/11dpo. Wishing everyone the best of luck!

emhope · 01/07/2022 19:11

Well I think I ovulated yesterday at CD13 so I am now in the TWW! 😬

Hoping we have DTD enough this cycle as only managed at 4 days, 2 days and 1 day before ovulation.

Thinking of testing on 10th July but will only be 10 dpo

PAJJ · 01/07/2022 12:07

@sunnyside238 🤞🏻Good sign!!

@Rainbowbaby13 enjoy your wine!!! I am very much going to be doing the same after being good all week. 🍷

Rainbowbaby13 · 01/07/2022 09:01

@ArrrMeHearties my midwife told me to start taking vitamin D after our first appointment my last pregnancy and once my son was born I forgot to take it for a while but I started again because it seems to give me a bit of a boost anyway

@sunnyside238 🤞🏼🤞🏼 that's a good sign

I'd love it if we could get lots of BFP all together 🤞🏼 here's to dreading baby dust

sunnyside238 · 01/07/2022 03:16

Just been woken up by our toddler and have back pain/lower back cramps like I'm coming on already but 5 days until af is due

ArrrMeHearties · 01/07/2022 00:11

@Rainbowbaby13 I have to take 5mg of folic acid every day until 12 weeks of next pregnancy due to ds's heart anomaly that was found last pregnancy. My consultant prescribed it when we got the post mortem results and ive been taking it since January. I might see about vitamin d too I could do with a boost. It might also help my fibromyalgia too

Rainbowbaby13 · 30/06/2022 22:48

@mamazac welcome good to have you here

I'm feeling good not sure where exactly I am in DPO because I had symptoms of ovulation a couple of days after my app said but apparently I'm day 18 in my cycle but we're covered even if it was a bit late

I'm trying to cut down on my drinking I'm a bit of a wine fiend so I've been good all week but I will be enjoying a couple of glasses tomorrow with mum

@Sawa75 don’t be hard on yourself! I am sure that drinking won’t immediately affect things straight away. You’d deserve a night off! I’ve felt guilty most months after having a drink. Often with the BFN I’ll think “well sod it, I’m having a drink” and then beat myself up over it!

@GingerbreadTM Thinking positive! I don’t think it will have messed it up, especially with mild symptoms. You must be going mad with not much to do and googling 🤯

@Rainbowbaby13 I just take Pregnacare, but I read about Ubiquinol on another post so doing some googling now!

To everyone else, wish you ALL the best and I hope you aren’t driven too far up the wall
with all this. I’m a little further behind some, flashing smiley again today. In the positive mind set part of the cycle because we are DTD so in the hopeful stage of actually doing something to make it happen. Dreading the 2 week wait… always feel so hopeless!

Sawa75 · 30/06/2022 19:48

Sorry to hear you have covid @GingerbreadTM . I woke up with a negative feeling as I went to a concert and was binge drinking with a hangover next day on cd12 (not like me at all these days, we took a rare evening off parenting a 14 month old to go to a concert). I didn't ovulate until cd21. But just feeling now that it might have affected the egg quality so no chance this month. Anyway on 5dpo so not near test day yet no symptoms at all.

mamazac · 30/06/2022 19:21

Hi everyone!

Wanting to join in if possible. This is cycle 3 TTC number 2, but it took 11 cycles to get number 1! I'm 2/3dpo and will be testing around the 10th!

Good luck ladies, can't wait to see your tests!

Sparkles247 · 30/06/2022 19:08

Hi Ladies sorry I've not messaged back I've not posted here before and struggling to keep up! Sorry to hear you have Covid @GingerbreadTM I hope you have a speedy recovery xx
I'm now on CD24, 8DPO and feeling stressed and emotional! I'm 39 (and a half!) I have a soon to be 14y DS from my previous relationship who was conceived first go so really worried we've left it too late now, been TTC since last May with no BFPS at all. Regular cycle and blood test in December all was fine. DP has now been waiting 6 weeks to get a referral appointment through after waiting 3 weeks to see his GP! Really hoping this is the month. I've also been using clear blue ovulation tests since feb and ovulating on time every month. Thinking of you all xx

CoopeyMum · 30/06/2022 18:23

Evening girls, I've a sence of feeling that we're all a similar age, I'm 37 next week. I always remember saying to myself that if I got to 35 and I didn't have any children I'd do something active about it (obviously thinking that I'd likely be single in this case & I'd just have a child alone). Obviously, situation is different as I have DP & it's so much more difficult than I EVER anticipated.

I'm trying not to symptom spot, but had light cramps since Monday (OV day according to fit bit calendar).

As for vitamins etc I take:
pregnicare (just coming up to finishing my first box)
Combined Vitamin D & Calcium (prescribed by gp)
And Ovulation support by conceive plus (I have PCOS & I swear that these tablets are the one thing that's brought my AF under control and regular).

Hope everyone is happy and healthy today xx

2019Mama · 30/06/2022 12:52

@Rainbowbaby13 I used to take pregnacare conception vitamins with previous pregnancy, haven't started them yet this time as just not had a chance to pick some up

Rainbowbaby13 · 30/06/2022 10:33

Is anyone taking anything other than folic acid? I usually take vitamin D anyway so just cried on

OP posts:
2019Mama · 30/06/2022 10:18

Feeling OK, I know it's too early to be symptom spotting but I can't help thinking hmm could it be a pregnancy symptom with every ache/twinge

Hope you're all ok
