7DPO symptoms - I’m going crazy, anyone else?

SophT27 · 26/06/2022 19:09

I think I’m going crazy. Last month I had a faint positive which led to a chemical pregnancy. I wasn’t necessarily TTC, but that line made my heart flutter and I felt devastated when AF arrived.

flash forward to now and I’m 7 DPO. Yesterday I had some cramping and some pink spotting. Today I’m still cramping, I also have lower back ache and I have some brown loss on wiping (sorry, I know TMI). This afternoon I felt a little bit nauseous and now I think I’m reading into every, tiny, little thing!

I know it’s too early to test, and also that the chances of this being down to the imminent arrival of AF are high, but I’m finding it hard not to read into things and get my hopes up. Anyone else in a similar boat? would love to chat.

I should probably add that AF is due 4th July my periods are usually on time (give or take a day).

@SophT27 very difficult to keep your mind off it, especially when AF is due and no sign yet. Thank-you, all crossed for you too! I will keep you posted, same goes for you 😊

SophT27 · 04/07/2022 19:43

I’ve got an ache in my lower abdo, I keep thinking it’s period cramps and the start of AF but nothing has happened. It feels slightly different too. I’ve had bouts of nausea and I’ve been quite tired.

I just don’t know. I keep kidding myself that I won’t think about it tomorrow/today, and then I think about it and start symptom spotting. I’ve had a little bit more CM that usual for this time or the month i’d say. Every day that there is still no AF gets my hopes up, but like you said, our bodies are the worst and are probably doing that to keep us on our toes.

i’ll keep everything crossed for you that this is your month. And please keep us updated xx

@SophT27 I totally understand the 'not wanting to verbally put it out there' to your partner. Especially if you think AF is on route (I hope not). The light bleeding is odd isn't it, nearly would think its implantation bleeding. Honestly it's so hard not to think of it and the more you think, the more delayed AF will be if it is going to come (our bodies are good craic arent they haha). I have had cramps on/off since ovulation and at times a sharp stab on right side. Dizziness and waves of nausea (although nearly thinking I'm overthinking it now). I have had white, thick discharge too (sorry TMI). Have you symptoms now?

SophT27 · 04/07/2022 18:17

@Dawnymillz if I was at home, I probably would have tested today 🫣 but because we are away (although in the U.K.) it’s harder to sneak away from my husband.

Not that I don’t want him to know, but just because I don’t want to put the “I could be” idea out there verbally if AF is just going to arrive.

I did test Thursday or Friday and it was negative so I’m pretty sure that AF is just a bit delayed and I’m not pregnant. But my god, it really is all I can think about.

I don’t even know what could and couldn’t be a symptom anymore. I had some bleeding from 6DPO to 10DP0 - nothing like a period. I’m just going out of my mind.

they say PT’s are accurate from 1 day after a missed period, but is that only for a 28 day cycle.

i’m physically losing the will to live over here.

its such a long waiting game isn’t it.

what sort of symptoms have you been having?

OP posts:
Dawnymillz · 04/07/2022 18:02

@SophT27 thank-you 🤗 the wait is awful, terrible to be wishing the days away isn't it.
Aw I have all crossed for you!! When do you think you will test? Flo is pretty accurate for me too actually.
It's a lovely wee community here, nice to have people to talk to. I'm doing ok, nearly have myself convinced I'm not pregnant since my symptoms are different to how I was last time but you still have that small hope. Hoping I wont be too disappointed when AF arrives. How are you doing?

SophT27 · 04/07/2022 17:51

@Dawnymillz welcome and join us. The wait is horrible isn’t it.

AF was due today, nothing as of yet but this is day 25 of a cycle. Mine usually range from 21-24 days but I can usually set my clock by Flo.

I’m still pretty sure that AF is going to arrive, albeit a bit later than I thought, and that my symptom spotting has been just that.

How are you doing? @Fabpinky has been keeping me sane, bless her heart.

Dawnymillz · 04/07/2022 17:33

@Fabpinky thank-you. I think I'm going to wait a couple of days after I'm due, as hard as that will be. Longest week ever 😅 Haha I am the exact same, anything wee thing and I'm straight onto Google. I'm glad of this forum because my partner would deffo think I'm mental!

Fabpinky · 04/07/2022 17:26

@Dawnymillz join us! I’m really sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Are you going to test early, or will you wait until you’re late?

it just drives me mad how anything that happens I think, Is that a symptom? And you can search mumsnet/Google and find someone who says it is. Last night I noticed my hair was greasy, i usual wash it once a week but it www greasy after 3 days, so of course I was straight on Google 😂😂

Dawnymillz · 04/07/2022 17:09

@Fabpinky @SophT27 Hi girls, I'm also in the dreaded waiting game. I also feel like I'm going insane and reading your messages honestly makes me feel so much better. Nice to feel normal haha. My partner and I have been TTC again after a miscarriage in May. I waited for one normal period after. My periods are pretty regular also, usually every 28 days. I'm also using Flo and AF should be here 10th July. I'm having similar symptoms, bloating, cramps, dizziness and some nausea at times. My symptoms were different before, e.g. very tired and sore/heavy boobs so I'm thinking I'm not pregnant this time although still hoping! Hope you girls are doing ok 🤞🏻

Fabpinky · 04/07/2022 16:16

@SophT27 Yeah I’m going to wait until Saturday and if nothing then test. also partly because I think I’m being insane and don’t want to feel stupid if I get a negative. I haven’t felt sick today.

if you think the disappointment of getting a negative might put a dampener on your holiday, I’d probably not test if I were you.

SophT27 · 04/07/2022 15:52

@Fabpinky I only tracked via Flo, and I know that can be a little bit inaccurate but DTD at the right time according to that. I don’t have a 28 day cycle generally so I don’t know whether to wait until after day 28 or test sooner. I haven’t mentioned anything to my hubby yet, especially after the chemical last month.

I would usually just nip off and test but because we are on holiday, there is no time apart 🤣🫣

I might wait and see what happens overnight/tomorrow and maybe bring it up tomorrow. I don’t know what to do for the best at all.

are you still going to wait to test?

Fabpinky · 04/07/2022 15:14

Oops, @ myself instead of you, @SophT27

Fabpinky · 04/07/2022 13:10

@Fabpinky nope nothing. When are you going to test if AF doesn’t come? Did you track your ovulation this month and dtd at the right time etc or did you just wing it?

SophT27 · 04/07/2022 13:07

@Fabpinky not yet. But I still have a ache in my pelvis, similar to period cramps. How about you?

OP posts:
Fabpinky · 04/07/2022 10:11

@SophT27 any sign of af?

SophT27 · 03/07/2022 20:53

@Fabpinky me too! As close as I can get it. I’m glad I’m not alone 😘

OP posts:
Fabpinky · 03/07/2022 20:43

@SophT27 I might give it a bit longer seeing as I have had 2, 34 day cycles this year so I’m not going to count anything as late until I get past 34 days. Getting negative tests is so disheartening.

if you’ve lost the plot then so have I. I’m constantly running to the toilet and examining the tissue. Right up to my face nearly touching my nose 😂😂😂

SophT27 · 03/07/2022 20:31

@Fabpinky maybe give it another 24 hours and test again. if Flo is saying AF is due tomorrow for you, maybe test Tuesday if it hasn’t arrived?

i’m trying so hard not to think about it, but it’s very difficult 🤣 for the past 2 days, everytime I’ve been to the toilet I’ve expected AF to have arrived and I’m analysing every single piece of toilet paper looking for the start of my period. I’m think I’ve actually lost the plot a little bit.

OP posts:
Fabpinky · 03/07/2022 20:22

@SophT27 I’m on day 29 right now. I haven’t tested since Tuesday or Wednesday I can’t remember, but it was negative. It wasn’t a FRER either

SophT27 · 03/07/2022 20:13

@Fabpinky Oh bless you, my cycle ranges, but Flo is usually pretty accurate for me and I don’t think it’s ever been wrong. I’ll put a pad on for bed as that’s usually when I come on.

another 5 days seems like such a long time you poor thing. Have you done another test since? My last test was Friday and was negative, but wasn’t a first response test.

what day of your cycle are you on now? Xx

OP posts:
Fabpinky · 03/07/2022 19:05

@SophT27 also just thinking about it, if my longest cycle has been 34 days, I won’t technically be late for my period for another 5 days 😩 5 more days of over thinking for me 🙃

Fabpinky · 03/07/2022 18:02

@SophT27 Hi! Still no change here. My Flo app said my period was due today and then yesterday it changed it to tomorrow so no idea. Just waiting. I’ve had a few twinges on both sides and lots of CM, like an unusual amount. Not sure if it means anything! Still feel nauseous.

Hope you’re having a nice holiday and not thinking about it too much!

SophT27 · 03/07/2022 17:31

Hi @Fabpinky any updates? AF is due tomorrow and my stomach is a bit achy, it doesn’t feel quite like cramps but the timing seems right.

How are you doing?

OP posts:
SophT27 · 01/07/2022 19:29

@Fabpinky I did at first, but now I’m not so sure as it went on for around 4-5 days. I think I was just getting my hopes up.

My stomach has felt funny all week, but I just get the feeling that AF is now on her way. You know when you just know. It’s horrible having to wait it out, but I’ve resigned myself to the fact that it’s not to be this month I think.

OP posts:
Fabpinky · 01/07/2022 19:00

@SophT27 do you think it could have been an implant bleed?
