I’m now 3dpo and trying to feel positive. My OPK peak times up with when I had EWCM and I’m sure I had some ovulation pain on Thursday. I’ve never realised it before now but I nearly always have a pain for a few hours in between AF’s so guess I nearly always have it but never paid any attention to what is was or why. Even though the timings all line up I still have a fear that I ovulated much later and missed dtd at the right time. I know it’s irrational 😂

Awww @havanamama yayyyy! Sometimes you can’t believe it until you see it written down! That’s amazing! Xxx

havanamama · 30/06/2022 13:09

@Cdoc congratulations !!

@Cdoc ahh amazing, congratulations ❤️ That’s a great line, I hope the EPU reassures you.

I didn’t, this was the first month I didn’t use OPK’s so perhaps I’m a few days behind (so maybe 10 DPO) I don’t know, I will just keep testing. I really hope it gets darker xx

allgoodthings84 · 30/06/2022 12:52

@Angie2018 are you ok?

Congratulations @Cdoc! I knew there would be some positives here

Hello ladies
Sorry for the radio silence, work has been out of control the past few days.
@havanamama those lines look so good! Fingers crossed for your digital 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@OCM19 I can definitely see lines on the FRER and the cheapie 🤞🏼🤞🏼Were you tracking ovulation with sticks? There are definitely lines there though!

@vitahelp sorry you’ve got covid ☹️How are you feeling? Hope it doesn’t hit you too badly but the timing is so frustrating.

@CinderellaFant sorry you’re feeling so bad 😔we are definitely all here for you, it’s so annoying when our bodies don’t respond when we are so desperate and care so much 😔sending you a big hug ♥️

I was 13dpo yesterday and my FRER was pretty positive! I think I might have ovulated on the Wednesday night rather than Thursday looking back at my sticks, which would have actually made me 14dpo yesterday. I still can’t quite believe it given no period since mmc and I’m absolutely terrified something will go wrong, so I’m not getting my hopes up. But am going to try and speak to the EPU as they said they would prescribe progesterone given my bleeding last time 🤞🏼

havanamama · 30/06/2022 12:22

Just realised I’ve written July 07 not June 😂

havanamama · 30/06/2022 12:21

@OCM19 congratulations!! 🤗 I see a faint line!

we were not proper trying yet, so I’m not sure how many DPO! I think likely 13DPO!

I have started to add dates to tests so I can see if the line gets darker. And it has! Used eyebrow pencil 😄

I will do the digital tomorrow (which would have 65% accuracy) and then on Monday(95% accuracy) if tomorrow digital says not pregnant. Tuesday will be missed period.🤞

OCM19 · 30/06/2022 09:39

@allgoodthings84 thank you, I think I may have ovulated a bit later but going to pick up some clear blue digitals to take start of next week. Xx

allgoodthings84 · 30/06/2022 07:34

@OCM19 those are definitely all positive. Tentative congratulations 😊. I don’t think cramping is abnormal. I had cramping at around 8 weeks with my daughter and nothing was wrong. I know it’s going to be worrying for you all the way through but try not to worry too much

OCM19 · 30/06/2022 06:17

@vitahelp oh no, I had it a few months back and it knocked my ovulation off. I hope you’re ok.

i’ve done another test this morning - 1 FRER and one cheapie (bottom two on pic), I can see something but still got very bad cramps. Xx

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 22:39

@vitahelp ohhhh no 😞 I hope you’re feeling better asap. Definitely don’t test if you’re not feeling it. More days you give it less chance of a false negative

vitahelp · 29/06/2022 22:09

Found out I’ve got covid..not the positive test I wanted this week. It explains away pretty much every symptom I spotted this week. I’ve not tested today, not sure if I will now before weekend after yesterdays bfn.

@CinderellaFant I’m so sorry, that sounds so difficult. I can imagine it is hard getting closer to your original due date. As others have said we are all here for you, keep sharing with us here xxx

OCM19 · 29/06/2022 20:30

@CinderellaFant I’m sorry that you’re feeling like this and that you feel let down by your body. Please know that we are all here for you, everyone’s TTC journeys are difficult in their own way, and we will be your support network through the good and bad times. Sending you a big hug 😘 xx

calipoppy · 29/06/2022 19:08

@CinderellaFant I'm so sorry you're having a tough day ☹️ I felt awful this morning but starting to get through it now. It's just frustrating how much time we have to wait between cycles and I think a loss only intensifies the need for a baby (I really do think it's like a physical need!)

Sorry you had an argument with your DH, I've been there too! They just don't understand what it's like for us and it can feel quite lonely to know they aren't feeling the same. Keep going, we'll all get there ❤️‍🩹

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 18:55

@CinderellaFant I’m so sorry. It must be so hard even more do it being at a later stage 😞. I really hope next cycle will be yours and you get your baby

OP posts:
CinderellaFant · 29/06/2022 18:49

@allgoodthings84 we had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in January and have been trying since the following month. Baby would have been here in 6 weeks if things hadn't gone wrong. As it gets closer to my due date I'm finding myself getting more and more desperate and hating my body more and more for letting me down.

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 18:45

@CinderellaFant I’m so sorry you’re feeling so rubbish. This was my first proper month ttc but I’m gutted (ok now though as has a few days warning) so I know how bad it’s going to get the longer it takes for me. I think I’m going to have to just try and not get my hopes up and take it as it comes but I know that’s not going to be easy. How long have you been trying?

OP posts:
CinderellaFant · 29/06/2022 18:24

Hi Ladies just checking in on how those who have got a BFN are feeling. Not going to lie- I'm gutted. I'm so disappointed that this is another month it's not happened, I'm feeling let down with my body and annoyed at myself for getting my hopes up yet again. Ended up having a massive argument with DH yesterday, purely because I'm struggling so much with ttc and I take it all out on him. Trying to have a baby should not be this hard.

OCM19 · 29/06/2022 13:52

@allgoodthings84 @vitahelp @calipoppy hope you’re all doing ok, it’s such a tough time but try and take each day as it comes.

@havanamama that’s a great line, how many DPO are you now? My af is due Saturday so will rest until then 🤞🤞 xx

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 13:01

@vitahelp I’m ok about it as have been expecting it since Saturday so had time to get my head round it so quicker AF arrived the better

you just never know but I know what you mean, the hope is the harshest thing in this situation and thinking positively is the right thing to do but hits harder when it’s not the right month.

one by one we will all get our bfp just wish there was a crystal ball to tell us that it will definitely happen

OP posts:
vitahelp · 29/06/2022 12:24

@allgoodthings84 @calipoppy I'm sorry to hear you both have AF, I'll probably be joining you soon.

@havanamama Amazing, it sounds like you have a safe positive now. As others have said, it will just be a standard statement made by the receptionist, but I know what you mean as it makes it feel less confirmed.

I'm still quite down about BFN yesterday and coming to terms with it not being my month. Annoyingly though I have a genuine achy pain (definitely not in my imagination this time) in my left side/lower back/radiating to pelvis. It is probably from doing an abs workout last night involving a lot of obliques but annoyingly it is giving me a bit of hope that I don't really want right now..

havanamama · 29/06/2022 12:06

Yeah I will try to be patient, don’t really have a choice 🤷‍♀️😄

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 11:59

@calipoppy ahhh I’m sorry you’re AF has arrived too

@havanamama it’s likely just policy but still takes the shine off

OP posts:
havanamama · 29/06/2022 11:54

I also called my GP, as I don’t have a thyroid, and take meds for that, I wanted to check if it is still ok to continue on the same dose.

the receptionist told me to ring back if I “still test positive after missed period” 😒 I know she was probably just realistic, but it put a bit of worry in my day. Ugh this process is such a rollercoaster
