Anyone else due to test around 30th June/1st July?

I’m now 3dpo and trying to feel positive. My OPK peak times up with when I had EWCM and I’m sure I had some ovulation pain on Thursday. I’ve never realised it before now but I nearly always have a pain for a few hours in between AF’s so guess I nearly always have it but never paid any attention to what is was or why. Even though the timings all line up I still have a fear that I ovulated much later and missed dtd at the right time. I know it’s irrational 😂

@allgoodthings84 oh god your poor mum to have to go through that! But I agree, it's very easy to get so down and depressed about it not working out, when actually I would rather my body reject anything that isn't healthy now, rather than going through a miscarriage later or worse a stillbirth. It's horrific for people to go through that and I really admire women who have had the strength to carry on after!

I really hope it's our month this month!!

I agree, we have great sec albeit much less if we weren't trying for a baby, but I agree if we had to go at it every other day all month I think it would become hardwork.

We have a good week to ten days over my fertile period and then get a break so that it's exciting again!

Holiday sounds fab! We don't go away until 29th July, I actually have two periods due in July, so I have two chances of getting a BFP so I am just trying to consider myself lucky.

You never know if it doesn't work this month you may have a one night of drunken fun and find yourself pregnant when you get home as you haven't tried 🙈🤣

@Angie2018 that’s the way I would look at it too. That it wasn’t the right egg and the right one will come along. My mum had a stillbirth before me which must have been horrendous for her but she says if that hadn’t happened she wouldn’t have had me as she got pregnant with me 2 months later

i think it’s the same with us. If I don’t OPK I would be more stressed worrying we timed it wrong and my partner would feel more pressure to keep performing constantly all month just in case and we would both be stressed and fed up with sex 😂 we love sex so don’t want that to happen

fingers crossed for implantation for us all soon and sticky babies 🥰

@allgoodthings84 ah thank you, trying to see the positive. I'm hoping I'm not being too hopeful for this cycle if that even makes sense?! I am trying to view it as my body has just released an egg that wasn't great quality and so surely a decent egg will be released this month right!! 🙈🙈 & by doing SMEP there will be loads of sperm there waiting for the good egg that is released 🙈🙈 probably a load of rubbish and just me trying to make the best of things!!

I actually strangely feel more relaxed this month tracking BBT & using opks and doing SMEP. My OH is on board with it all and I feel that it's almost taken the pressure off worrying about having enough sex at the right time 🤣

I really hope for you that you are already pregnant by the time you go away and you won't need to try again in July or august!

@OCM19 yea think I need to do a few more months as I’ve only done 2 cycles with OPK and last month my cycle was crazy. I ovulated really late and then AF came really late. It threw me as I’m never more than 1 day “late”. I think I was stressing as I was worried that I don’t ovulate anymore being 37 and that ironically pushed my ovulation back 😂 this cycle I ovulated (according to opk) on CD12 or CD13 as not sure if AF started 4th or 5th as was overnight at some point. My cycles are 26/27 days (a day either side occasionally) and never away from that apart from last cycle which was 33 days! I wasn’t ttc that month just trying to get the gist of my timings and my body bloody played me 😂. This is my first cycle actually ttc.

no idea why I was worried whether I ovulate as I have a child but she’s 7 and I’m now 37 so I worried even though I’m very regular and have been since she was born. I didn’t track anything before my daughter I didn’t realise I was pregnant until nearly 7 weeks 🤦‍♀️

@allgoodthings84 I agree about OPK’s to know your cycle. I only ditched them as I ovulate around CD15-CD17 so I know roughly when my fertile window is. I may use an OPK on Tuesday just to check it’s still not high to indicate a late ovulation.

what will you all be doing to try and make the TWW not drag?!

Next cycle we won’t be ttc as going on holiday with other family and sharing a room with my 7 year old which will likely coincide with my peak and ovulation. It’s typical but oh well what can you do we need this holiday. At least I won’t have AF while away!

@Angie2018 I’m so sorry about your chemical. Fingers crossed will happen this month. I might give SMEP a go in August if my partner is up to it but it will be very hard for us so unlikely.

@OCM19 i think we will need to use opk as struggle to dtd all throughout the month so timing is crucial. I just hope the strips are accurate 😂 if it hasn’t work in 3 cycles I will ditch them and just dtd as much as we can

@Cdoc would hate to think we dtd at the wrong time but that’s why I use opk as we are so busy we would struggle every other day throughout the whole cycle (not to mention knackered and feeling like sex is forced all the time)

I won’t be testing before AF is due which should be 30th June/1st July. I might wait until Saturday 2nd to test if AF not arrived. I really don’t want to test early and get negatives as I know I will then spend days wanting to test every day in case too early and still get the rubbish feeling when AF arrives. I would rather just wait and not have the ups and downs. I’m a natural worrier so trying to keep chilled as possible

If AF hasn’t arrived by 2nd July i definitely will test as have a works bbq party that night and there will be drinking involved so need to know for then if I need to make excuses up or not 😂

I need to try and think more positively but I’m scared of letting myself believe I could be and then AF arriving. I always do the self preservation thing which makes it look like to others like I don’t care but I really really do

I feel completely normal at the moment just tired but I’m always tired so nothing new. I feel really sick earlier in waves but think it was just because I was hungry as hadn’t eaten ha ha

Hi all, I will be testing on 1 July 🤞 I am on cycle 6 and this is the first cycle I haven’t used OPK’s as I was becoming so obsessed. I feel a lot more relaxed this cycle but it’s still at the back of my mind a lot. I’m CD16 so think I possibly ovulated yesterday or today. We’ve DTD every other night during fertile window.

just got to get through the TWW now! How’s everyone else feeling? It’s lovely to have some others in the same position 🥰

I am day 2 of my fertile window currently, doing SMEP this cycle. Started day 6, now day 9. Got flashing smileys on my clear blue digital opk since this morning. Testing twice a day. Lots of EWCM started yesterday... due to BD tomo, and I think il get my leak Tuesday so tues, wed, thurs & sat!

Feeling hopeful this month after a chemical last cycle!

@allgoodthings84 me! I am also 3dpo. I had the cramping too (still a bit now to be honest) but I have mild endo too so that’s nothing unusual. Doing my best not to symptom spot otherwise as I know the reality is implantation isn’t even close to happening yet 🤣
How are you feeling? It’s not irrational at all… there’s always a fear!! Will you hold to to 30th to test?
