I’m now 3dpo and trying to feel positive. My OPK peak times up with when I had EWCM and I’m sure I had some ovulation pain on Thursday. I’ve never realised it before now but I nearly always have a pain for a few hours in between AF’s so guess I nearly always have it but never paid any attention to what is was or why. Even though the timings all line up I still have a fear that I ovulated much later and missed dtd at the right time. I know it’s irrational 😂

I caved and test early. Why do I punish myself like this I don't know. No patience at all. Of course it's to early! I was in the toilet trying my best to talk myself out of it but i still tested. I don't even know if I have any symptoms to go on. Think it's all in my head tbh 😔

Thank you x

@OCM19 thank you & likewise for you too!! X

OCM19 · 25/06/2022 15:27

@Angie2018 ahh I’m really trying not to get my hopes up, but it’s hard! Sorry for your chemical, hopefully this month will be positive news for you.

@Tubbytele ohh how exciting, good luck in your application 🤞 xx

Tubbytele · 25/06/2022 15:16

@OCM19 unfortunately that position had gone and isn't available, but there's been another position available this week so I've gone for that. DS will be 21 months in 2 days so still a young one :)

Angie2018 · 25/06/2022 15:14

@OCM19 ah yes I just would love a March baby! And an Aries if poss, me and my brother are Aries and I just love Aries people!!

How nice if you could have two March babies!

To be honest the CM you are mentioning defo sounds promising & also the no sore boobs!! That was my earliest change last cycle when I did fall pregnant, I normally have sore boobs every month sometime after ovulation and last month I had none. So it's also a sign and I've read many people get this. Mine ended in a chemical but it's unlikely to be related to the no sore boobs x

OCM19 · 25/06/2022 14:51

@Angie2018 My DS is a Mach baby - I have to say, I love it. That's why also hopeful for a BFP this cycle as that would be 2 March babies with a 4 year age gap.

@allgoodthings84 I hope you’re ok, it's so hard not to worry. This thread is a safe space so please vent if you need to and we will all be here to support you in your anxieties and concerns.

@Tubbytele Did you go for your promotion once your DS was a bit older?

So I'm 7DPO (estimated) today and have really thick, white creamy CM. I don't think I've had that at all at this stage of my cycle for the past 6 months. Of course I googled but who knows! My boobs are also still not sore, which is unusual for me...but probably doesn't mean anything!

Tubbytele · 25/06/2022 14:42

I'm so excited for some bfp news on here next week!

Tubbytele · 25/06/2022 14:40

Hi @WannabeeMummy321 , we have similar cycle lengths and ovulation CD :) my cycles have been a bit crazy due to BF DS but last three months they've been around 36 days with ovulation peak days on CD 23.

Tubbytele · 25/06/2022 14:34

@OCM19 Good luck with the interview! One thing I regret with my DS was not going for a promotion because I wasn't sure how I'd cope with the workload and being a mum. But now looking back I know I would have been able to do it. So I totally agree with you to not let your life be on hold :)

@allgoodthings84 also remember weird cycles are also normal!! Just don't rule yourself out... I could have done the same, tormented myself last month because my cycles aren't normal, spotting that early shouldn't happen etc etc, never knew it was a chemical and then be so stressed this month worrying my body is abnormal. Just don't panic because spotting can mean pregnancy or just AF trying to show x

allgoodthings84 · 25/06/2022 12:21

@Angie2018 not been checked out as it was only last cycle it’s ever happened that much before AF. It’s usually just a day or so. Last cycle was my first month using OPK so not sure how many dpo I usually am when spot but it would be DPO 13 ish I imagine as it’s usually right before AF. Maybe I did have a chemical last month without realising but AF was normal when it came and came the right amount of days after ovulation (5 days later than usual). So basically last cycle I started to spot when I normally would have been having AF but I ovulated late so AF came late

so basically any spotting now will make me think I’m out like last cycle 😂

@allgoodthings84 I used to spot about 4/5 days before AF and got checked out and I had a cervical erosion. Had it treated with silver nitrate and not had it since. Have you had a check for that? Doesn't affect fertility at all, just cells get irritated. I've read so many girls on here get that with erosions. It isn't abnormal as such to have spotting before AF though it isn't uncommon. And don't rule yourself out if you do get it. Implantation can last for 3 days but some women have it for up to 7. Was it your first time of spotting at 9dpo? Because 9dpo is the most likely day for implantation x

allgoodthings84 · 25/06/2022 12:00

@Angie2018 the spotting lasted 5 days so don’t think implantation as that’s usually only up to 2 days?

I don’t feel anything at the moment. I don’t normally get cramps until just before AF though so doesn’t mean anything really. I don’t think I’m really someone who gets symptoms for things generally and I can’t remember the last time I was actually poorly as in more than a sniffle. If I’ve even had covid it’s been asymptotic during a time when testing wasn’t a thing. I do get horrific period pains on first day of AF and the spotting sometimes day before but that’s it’s usually.

I’ve never thought about it or been concerned about the spotting right before AF until now when I’m ttc especially after last cycle. I just worry that if I start spotting every day until AF that means I’m definitely out

@allgoodthings84 morning lovely! Don't panic too much, as the spotting is normal for a cycle, is there any chance that could have been implantation at all? Because that's a symptom. I had it last month at 9/10dpo and it was a chemical in the end but was not AF related. Don't panic if the spotting starts. Do you feel like AF could be on her way? X

allgoodthings84 · 25/06/2022 11:50

Morning ladies. How are you all feeling today?

9dpo for me today and I’m nervous as last month I started spotting on and off very lightly (only when wiping nothing in knickers) at 9dpo - 5 days before AF came. I often spot before but only a day or so it’s never been that long until last cycle so I’m really hoping it was all to do with my late ovulation etc so just a messed up cycle. The next few days are going to be worrying I’m going to be checking every time I wipe praying for no tint of colour

@vitahelp mine too! I'm constantly deleting my history just incase someone sees how mental I am 🤣🤣🤣

vitahelp · 25/06/2022 10:40

@Angie2018 My Google search history is an embarrassment! Sometimes I’ll search something so ridiculous I’m laughing at myself while typing it, but still can’t resist reading the results!!

Angie2018 · 25/06/2022 10:34

@vitahelp 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 seriously I love that I am not the only mad woman that Google's EVERY SINGLE THING!!! I've been Googling "what's happening at 4dpo" this morning.... roll on next week!!

vitahelp · 25/06/2022 10:31

@Angie2018 I’ll try and keep hopeful! To be fair when I got pregnant with DD I had a bad cold in the 2WW but I’m sure DH had it too so I sort of ignored it. But maybe there is some link to a lowered immune system around implantation.. goes to Google it 😂
