I’m now 3dpo and trying to feel positive. My OPK peak times up with when I had EWCM and I’m sure I had some ovulation pain on Thursday. I’ve never realised it before now but I nearly always have a pain for a few hours in between AF’s so guess I nearly always have it but never paid any attention to what is was or why. Even though the timings all line up I still have a fear that I ovulated much later and missed dtd at the right time. I know it’s irrational 😂

Haha just been catching up on all the “boob” chat…speaking of which, my boobs have begun to tingle and hurt today so maybe normal like all the other cycles but just a bit later.

does anyone think they will cave and test before next Thursday/Friday? Xx

@ummidreams ok you've made me feel better now that sore boobs before AF die can mean pregnancy 🤣🤣

My dreams aren't bad tbh I am a light sleeper though! Your sound fun 😂

I tend to get the tingly nips and then the sore boobs set in if pregnant and I'm a front sleeper so I tend to notice it's very uncomfortable. Also If my arm brushes the side it would hurt.
I have been taking progesterone for about 5days but it hasn't really made my boobs sore. Just bloated and constipated.

Also does anyone get vivid dreams? My dream can be crazyyy! teleporting myself from one scene to another, full of all sorts of emotions one minute I'm lost somewhere next I'm on a mad quest 😅 some bizarre stuff!

None of this yet. Well maybe one dream last night but I don't know if I can class it as vivid. I did however wake up to the worst back ache.

@Angie2018 yea it’s so funny isn’t it as sore boobs can mean pregnancy but no sore boobs can also mean pregnancy 😂 or both can also mean AF. Basically every could mean you’re pregnant or could mean AF.

I did think though that if AF comes later today or tomorrow and I ovulate just before we go away then the first part of 2ww will be when we are away so will go quickly as holiday always whizz by

@allgoodthings84 I think any mild pain or twinge or ache is normal at this point as progesterone is building regardless of pregnancy. It peaks at days 6-8 so I'd say if you have sore boobs before that it's due to normal progesterone but if you don't and then get sore boobs it is more likely to be from HcG. But I have read very mixed things so I don't know I probably should let it go 🤣🤣

@Angie2018 ahhhh nah I definitely haven’t got sore boobs then. They are a tiny bit when I squeeze them really hard but so would any part of my body if I squeezed really hard.

@allgoodthings84 to be honest I am not even sure if I have sore boobs or nipples I mean I can grab them pretty hard without pain 🤣 I was laying on my OH earlier watching a film and he had a long hard grope of my left boob and I didn't feel a thing, normally by now I'd be sore. Like walking down the stairs having to hold them sore.... I don't want to speak to soon though as there is always time for them to get sore. I am officially now 7 days to AF if she is due. I've read plenty of things that people got their normal AF pain after ovulation and got their BFP and plenty that don't and got their BFP so I guess I am just going to have to wait as progesterone is going to make my body do the same either way!

@allgoodthings84 I totally get what you mean I am the same... if AF is coming just hurry up and come so I can get on with the next cycle! I hope you don't have to miss next cycle too! All the confusion and waiting is the hardest part...

When my boobs are sore it's a soreness when my arm brushes past them, or if my child sits on my knee and even slightly presses agains them
It kills!

I'm 10 days PO now and yesterday had the sorest cramping pain at the front in my left side, actually made me gasp. Lasted about 30-40 mins and then felt it again this morning when I was in the pool with the children. Not sure if this means anything? We are currently away on a little staycation until tomorrow so it's helping take my mind off obsessive symptom spotting.

@Angie2018 nipples are definitely a progesterone thing so don’t worry it definitely doesn’t mean that AF is definitely on the way.

when sore boobs are mentioned do they mean sore in general or sore when squeezing?

@Angie2018 thank you. I’m now willing the spotting to go away either just stop or AF to come. If she’s going to come anyway I want her here now so we can ttc next cycle. If she comes in 4 days when I’m actually due we won’t be able to 🤦‍♀️. I’ve never been wanting AF to hurry up 😂 but it’s precious timing I need if ttc next cycle is going to happen. Would love to not have to miss a cycle.

Haha don't be silly not at all we are here for you!! I feel fine tbh, no change, can't work out if my nipples are warm and tingly or not, I mean my boobs feel fine but if I really had to pick anything I'd say my nipples are marginally twingy but I doubt it's anything other than normal progesterone rising 🤣🤣

@allgoodthings84 yeah I do agree that's so strange!! Sometimes cycles can just be weird... I have a regular 26 day cycle and this month I ovulated on CD11 which is early for me, means I'm likely to have a 23/24 day cycle if AF comes. I hope she doesn't though 🤣 and for you too! I think I ovulated early due to my chemical

@Angie2018 weird my LP has been 4 days different these last 2 cycles though isn’t it? I know a day or so is normal but thought it should be around the same. I know my EWCM this month was the same CDs as usual so would have thought my AF would be too. It’s so odd it’s just these last 2 cycles that have been different for me as I’m so so regular normally. My partner doesn’t get it either as he can always tell when I’m due on because of the dates 😂 I’m that regular. It’s always 26/27 days. Then last cycle was 33 days as ovulated late and this loads shorter but ovulated normal time.

I really do this it’s AF coming. I don’t know why I think that as I know it could be implantation but in my heart I know it’s AF as I can’t be that lucky.

@vitahelp often I spot a day or so before so this would be normal in terms of spotting just before. I just have never ever been this early before. 26 days is my shortest in the last 3.5 years at least. I can’t go back further as only have my Fitbit data.

usually I spot for a day (sometimes 2 nights and 1 day) then AF arrives with a vengeance heavy and painful for 3 days (cramps only on first day) then light for a day or so then gone. So it’s starting in the normal way if I start getting heavy and crampy tonight then it’s normal. Just the timing isn’t. Better than 5 days of spotting then AF though I guess.

unless I had asymptomatic covid or something and it’s messed with my cycles but again the timing would be very coincidental and I have no way of ever knowing if that’s the case.

I never thought this ttc would be quick but I did think it would be simple ha ha how naive

So annoying your cycle has decided to play silly buggars now 🙈🙈 good for seeing the positive though that you may ovulate before holiday so you get another try!! They say a 10 day LP is ok and so you can only count the first day of period as full flow. So still not a bad LP.

You can still implant though and it may stop. My implantation spotting wasn't that pink it was a reddish colour but watery consistency x

Lunch sounds lovely for you!! Some people do say they get drunk quicker if pregnant so could actually be a sign?!

Maybe just say you are on antibiotics 🤣🤣🤣

You are absolutely right it's more common not to feel it than to feel it! Still symptom spotting here and getting upset at 5dpo because I have none and still scared of having sore boobs and it meaning PMS is coming 😩

@allgoodthings84 We sound very similar. I am the same at work too, I manage a sales department and spend a lot of time looking at patterns and data to plan ahead. I love it! But it’s become a bit of a curse when TTC!
I can understand your frustration, like you say it’s less about potentially being out for this cycle and more the discrepancy and where that leaves you for understanding future cycles. I do still think there is a real possibility it is implantation spotting but don’t want to get your hopes up in case it is just AF.

I’m glad you’re seeing the positives, like you say it could all be happening for a reason and next cycle is the right one for you. I sometimes wonder if TTC itself creates discrepancies due to the stress over it. Keep us updated on the bleeding today and whether it develops into obvious AF. Would your period normally start so slow (spotting for over 24 hours) or would it usually be quite obvious by now?
