Hi all, hoping I can join? I've had two chemicals this year then had a miscarriage at 6+3 on 30 June :( and haven't actually had a period since. We hadn't been intending to TTC for a while as I've been referred for tests - but then we ended up DTD a bit anyway, and I decided to do some LH tests & temp just to see and turns out I probably ovulated about 2/3 days after we DTD so defo in with a chance. Currently 6dpo.

I feel so nervous... I would love for it to be a BFP in the next few days but also so nervous about another loss, and also would mean we couldn't do the tests. However, this time around I have progesterone to take from a bfp and I have also been researching some herbs to take too, and vitamin e which does a similar thing to aspirin (can't take aspirin as it doesn't agree with me!) so feeling more prepared.

Been having a few very mild crampy feelings since yesterday, and some twinges in my right side.... gahhh the wait kills doesn't it 😅😅

@emhope I soften it slightly by saying ‘we should DTD’ rather than ‘we need to DTD’ even though it means the same thing but it makes it sound less urgent😂 but there have been a couple of times in the past where I haven’t said anything until afterwards

Can I just ask how does everyone else approach convos with OH’s around DTD in fertile time? Do you tell them straight out that need to do it on certain days lol or do you just try and initiate it at the right time without saying anything?

My OH knows I do the ovulation tests (but prob not the extend of how much I test and obsess over it 😆) but I haven’t really ever said to him when I am fertile or said ‘we need to DTD today’. Generally we have still been DTD at the right times every couple of days around fertile time but this month thought I want to try and DTD on every fertile day lol but not sure how to approach this with him without taking away the ‘moment’ if that makes sense 😬

@emhope it'll come 😊 I started with EWCM on CD13 but only just got a flashing smiley today on CD18. As soon as I saw the EWCM we've been DTD every other day. I've heard you're not suppose to analyse the CB sticks too much when you eject them. But mine were really light lines and have only started to look darker this morning.

@MrsCristiano hopefully you can make up for it tonight. If you've only just started with fertile CM don't panic, you've got time 🙏🏼

So no flashing smiley this morning 😒but a little confused as yesterday and today I have had EWCM so was expecting at least a flashing face!!
Also my easy@home tests have gone from 0.1 yesterday to 0.4 today. When I eject the clear blue tests the one from yesterday has a darker line than the one today which is so light 🤷🏻‍♀️ Shouldn’t it have been darker if the easy@home is darker? Anyone had this?

@Astar21 I know kicking myself. DH wanted to DTD this morning said he'd ring to work that he would be half hr late but this is my second day back after covid and I couldn't be late 😩

@LuckyMoonstone it is just taking longer EWCM is promising and that's all I'm basing my cycle on 🤞🤞

@bunnykins123 rubbish test this morning, barely there! So annoying. And BBT definitely doesn’t show ov. So it looks like I’m still waiting and in for another long cycle 😔 trying not to feel too depressed about it, I really wanted this week to be better than last week, but I feel a bit crap. I still have ewcm this morning so I guess my body hasn’t totally given up yet.

After 5 days of low, I finally got a flashing face this morning 😆🙌🏼 was starting to think it wasn't going to happen!

@emhope hope you get a flashing today. Mine have followed a different pattern every month.

@bunnykins123 I wouldn’t be surprised if my peak had been Saturday or Sunday night but I didn’t test either. Will see what temps do tomorrow. But I have had a shit tonne of ewcm this evening so I’m gonna do one more test before bed in a bit

@bunnykins123 there's no radiation don't worry xx it's like a big magnet device. You'll just have to take out all your piercings 😅 I was asked a lot of questions about AF at miscarriage ultrasounds which makes me kinda wonder if they saw anything..

Might be jumping the gun here but my OPK has gone from 0.27 this morning to 0.54 this afternoon so I’m hopeful for peak tomorrow 🤞
Feeling knackered but going to attempt to seduce DH yet again tonight…

@LuckyMoonstone what's your temps doing? Are they looking like O could have happened? It's possible you missed your peak, I go from 0-100 in the space of a evening then back down again the following evening.

Hi everyone, trying to catch up on this thread but too much to read 😆 I don’t seem to get notifications when someone posts and then when I check there have been loads of posts! does anyone else get notified?

@bunnykins123 i would take the MRI scan, always good to take any tests so at least things can be ruled out. I actually had an MRI a few days ago (head scan for my ears) and was fine.

I’m finally now on CD10 and feels exciting to hopefully be only a few days from ovulation. Time seemed to drag so much during the last 2WW and AF! Blank circle on clearblue this morning but hoping for a flashing smiley tomorrow on CD11 like last month.

@bunnykins123 I get ovulation pain in that I get a stitch on one side and mild uterine cramps. Nothing too painful and it doesn't last anymore than 2 hours. Honestly I would take the mri too. I've had one, not in that area and it's absolutely fine just more detailed than a CT or ultrasound scan xx

@bunnykins123 no I also don't have any pains around ovulation. I get a few twinges sometimes but I barely know when it's actually happening. I'd say go for the tests they're offering 💕

@bunnykins123 I don't get anything around O I only know it's happened because I temp. I would def take all the tests they want to offer you 💕

Well my OPK is rubbish this morning, 0.14. I usually get my peak on an evening, and I haven’t done any evening tests this weekend. So I could have missed it… but even so I usually get a bit of a stronger line before and after the peak, so I’m not sure. All I can do now is see what my BBT does, if I have missed my peak then it should carry on going up (it’s up a bit this morning)

@bunnykins123 no I don’t have bad pain like that, just some mild cramps. I’d take the scan if I were you, I would rather know what was going on. You’ll be fine.

Gals, can I ask a question? I'm going through tests as the moment to try and figure out if my body is just totally crap or if there is more to me miscarrying so much.

One of the questions I had was if I get painful ovulation. I do. It hurts so bad on the day - it's like a band around my pelvis and can be really painful to walk/cough when I'm in the thick of it. Pelvis can feel tender too. The consultant wants to do a MRI to see if it's endometriosis. I don't have any other signs of endo, periods are uneventful and not painful.

I'm a bit nervous about having a MRI as it feels pretty invasive (I know it's not but it feels like a fairly big thing given it's not giving me too many issues and I've always had this, even pre DD) and wondering if I should cancel to have ultrasounds done first.

My question is: do any of you have painful O like this? I know I'm really lucky to be offered this but equally don't want to have a pretty major scan if this is fairly normal.

I don't know. Helpppps please.

@LuckyMoonstone that's fair enough, they are defo not for everyone. If it wasn't for the fact that I like definitively knowing I'm about to peak, I would probably sack them off as they are so expensive. How's your opks looking today?

@pangolin84 I get EWCM for days before I get flashies! It's really confusing. I've had seriously good EWCM for 8 days in the past 🤦‍♀️

@DrinkingAllTheGin sorry about AF but at least it's out of the way for DH coming home. I'm sure you miss him loads. It's the limbo between a bfn and AF arriving drives me insane xx
