@theblueflowers I would have found that really tough too. You know it’s irrational to be angry at the women but you can’t help having strong emotions after what you (and all of us) have been through.

@bunnykins123 thank-you, now that my test has dried there are just 2 super faint lines. The ovulation tests are driving me mad!

@calimc83 When I had my MMC, they said they don't test the foetus unless you had 3 losses. My interpretation of that sentence, is they are confirming a pregnancy but no obvious signs of abnormality such as a molar pregnancy perhaps. I feel for you, just when you feel you are moving in, you get a letter from the NHS which makes you revisit it all again.

@Totoro1234 I have pictures, I'll send after this message but it doesn't show the weird colour as mine always went to 2 lines so I don't have any of them. I can show you my CB vs opks progression so you can see.

@Chellooo ohh everything crossed for you. Also just entered the 2WW after my 2nd MMC. That's interesting u had the same letter..I just can't figure out if the foteus was tested though as they told me they wouldn't do this? It's confused me 🙈😫 x

@bunnykins123 I spoke to someone at the helpdesk at CB and she said to believe the test and that I’ve ovulated. She didn’t ask for a photo but I described it. Im still not convinced as the test looked so messed up. Did you say you had some photos of ones you’ve had like that?

I had the same letter but just took it to mean there was nothing sinister nor could they see a reason for the mc...I just took it as sheer shit luck, but it gave me some comfort knowing there was nothing massively wrong.

I've just started Into my tww, got my static smiley on sat and dtd on Sunday so I'm hoping we haven't missed it! First attempt post mmc, so hoping this one all goes well x

Can anyone shed any light on this - just had a letter through from the clinical specialist in the EPU it says 'The tissue passed does show placental tissue confirming pregnancy' 'There was no specific abnormality or cause for the miscarriage shown from this result'.....so have they tested the tissue then?? As I was told they wouldn't...( obvs tried calling them to discuss further but no response as yet) thanks xx

Oh I'm so sorry @theblueflowers that must have been tough. I'm CD2. Hoping for a birthday miracle this month (it's my 40th in July 😩).

Had absolutely awful PMS on Saturday, so I'm already feeling a lot better.

The christening was actually harder than I thought it was going to be. I was stuck between two women at the lunch, due in October and November, so the same time I would have been due. Obviously I had nothing to contribute to the conversation, but also just felt a little peeved that they could talk about literally nothing else.

This sounds awful, but I was also getting irrationally angry at one of them who was just stroking her bump the whole time. Not her fault at all, she had no idea what I had been through, but it brought up many ugly feelings!

@bunnykins123 thanks so much for the reply. That’s interesting about the CB. It’s dried out a bit and there are now 2 very faint lines. Not like my others though. Some pics would be great if you don’t mind 🤣

@Totoro1234 I've used CB for a long time before ttc (mainly as I wanted to understand my cycles) and I've had lots like that with CB. They usually turn to 2 lines eventually. I used to keep all my CB tests to compare each cycle but eventually stopped doing it as literally, there is no comparison between lines (or very little). I also test with LH strips and the lines get progressively stronger until my peak. IMHO don't look at the 2 lines, the static vs flashy faces always match my LH strips even if the actual lines for CB are faint / weird. I think CB is pretty reliable at detecting your peak it just depends on when you actually O after that, which is hard to pin point. I hope that reassures you! @Totoro1234 have you tried the premom app and easy@home sticks from Amazon? They're dirt cheap compared to the clear blue digital (I've never tried the CB ones as was put of by the price and it seems so complicated!) the premom app is so easy and as they're cheap you don't have to guess when you're going to ovulate, you just test as much as you want to catch the peak. Happy to send some images of mine if it helps. X

And it's difficult not to make comparisons with previous TTC journeys....

TTC DD1 It was 16 months/10 cycles in total, but 6 cycles after I got my thyroid issues sorted...

TTC DD2 12 months (and cycles) in total, but only 4 after my CP...

I wish I knew what this one was going to be and even if we are going to have any success before our deadline of the end of the year 🤷‍♀️😢

AF also in the house here….Cycle 5 here I come (how is it cycle 5 already?). Have to admit I’m already completely tired of the whole thing, how little control I have over it….a few weeks of flaky pill taking? Bam, pregnant! 4 months of actually going for it? 2 annovulatory cycles and 2 unsuccessful ones, despite DTD around 3 times in the fertile window those months…sigh….

@pangolin84 I know, talk about frustrating, now it’s dried you can see 2 lines but they aren’t very strong. After this cycle I’ve decided I’m giving up on ovulation sticks!!!

@Cheetocat Sorry to hear about your loss. It’s a crappy club to be in but this is a great place for support and offloading.

@Totoro1234 That doesn’t look like a valid result - you can’t even see a control line! You’d think the detector would be able to tell something was up with that. So frustrating.

Looking for your guys thoughts??…did a digital Clear Blue test this morning and was so happy to see a solid smiley face (didn’t have a flashing smiley in the days prior so was pretty suprised). Anyhow, I’ve ejected the stick and it looks like it’s broken/ flooded or something?!? I’ve attached an image. Online some people say don’t look at the stick but this definitely doesn’t seem right. I did a cheapy ovulation stick also which looks less positive but I have had test lines a bit paler I think when ovulating - see image. My temperature was a bit higher yesterday and the day before and has dipped slightly today. Any ideas? Also annoyed because the CB digital test kits are £26 a pop and once you get a positive it doesn’t work anymore!!!! Feel like things are never quite straight forward haha! Going to do another in the morning and see what happens (after I’ve forked out another £26!)

Hello, hope you're all having a good weekend. I had a MMC at the end of April, I had made it to 11w2d, it was very rough on my body. I just had my first AF starting on the 7th of this month and I began doing OPK's the week after. Not expecting a miracle but I'm optimistic. It's very emotional, more so than I expected. I think I am 1DPO today. Kind of clueless about ttc so let's see how it goes.

@Totoro1234 have you tried any of the supplements that are meant to balance your cycles? I have been taking myo-inositol which is meant to balance for some, but you'd need to check if it's suitable for you (it's good for PCOS, but not if you have low ovarian reserve apparently). There's also agnus cactus (I've never used but think a few on here have). Also seed cycling to regulate your cycles, that's a more holistic approach but perhaps something to look into if you're feeling frustrated and don't know where to start 😘. @pangolin84 hi, sorry to hear about your MC and how you’re feeling. It’s the uncertainty and emotional rollercoaster that is all so wearing. I hope ovulation happens soon and you can continue your journey 💕

Just an update from me as I’m starting to feel rotten again, after my random 20 day cycle (cycles all over the place after MC in February- didn’t have very regular cycles before though). I’m now on day 14 of this cycle and no sign of ovulation, I’ve started the digital clear blue tests and no smiley faces. Started temping in the last 3 days (no idea why I didn’t start at the beginning of the cycle!) but there’s a slight increase in temp happening- need longer to see if it’s sustained. There’s a little more CM this cycle than the last few cycles. Def think I didn’t ovulate the last 2 cycles. Just feeling tired, fed up and upset when I see what feels like everyone else pregnant or with babies. Wishing everyone the best!

Hi everyone. I’ve not been on for a while following my surgical management of MMC two weeks ago. Thank you for all your support, it really helped me get through the worst time of my life. Feeling in a much better place mentally although still off work for a few more days (this will take me to 3 weeks off, which I already feel guilty about).
I’ve noticed some EWCM for the past few days, which I’m hoping means I’ll ovulate soon. I want to get a normal cycle out of the way before trying again. I’ve been doing quite a bit of reading and come to the conclusion that I have poor quality eggs because of my age (I’m 37). Not much I can do about that but I’ve started taking coenzyme q10 to help boost egg quality. I’ve also started temping to keep track of ovulation as the confusion around dates after my scan in the last pregnancy caused a lot of uncertainty and false hope. Basically feel like throwing the kitchen sink at this but I do have a bit of an obsessive personality so need to balance it with some other relaxing and stress-relieving activities.
Sorry for the massive brain-dump essay! It’s so helpful to have this community where everyone has been through similar experiences 💔

My AF arrived. It’s also quite heavy compared to what I had before, it’s the first AF since ERPC though. So maybe it’s still settling. On CD2 now.
