@mummatara i drank two litres of water a day to try help mine. And a few long walks. Not sure if it helped but I felt it did to ease bloating and just feel a bit healthier again.

Shit though isn’t it? You’re usually so happy to see the two lines and now it’s a bad reminder.

mummatara · 06/07/2022 09:31

@bunnykins123 forgot to say the EPU said they will scan me next week if it's still positive

mummatara · 06/07/2022 09:31

@bunnykins123 I'm on it flushing out the system let's hope for good negative news next week 🤞🏼

bunnykins123 · 06/07/2022 08:38

Oh @mummatara I feel for you. I've been there, it's hard. Try the exercise and green tea - see if that works, loads of water too to flush out the system. Having a miscarriage is hard enough without having lingering HCG to deal with too. Have you spoken to your GP to have a scan for retained products?

Welcome to @HoneyPea @ChipAndDip I'm sorry you've found yourself here 💕

@Margo34 I've had 3 losses too. I'm in the process of having tests done. Have you had any tests done to see if you have any clotting / immune issues?

@LuckyMoonstone yes mine were, heavier and longer. They have sorted themselves out now.

mummatara · 06/07/2022 08:26

5 weeks today and still positive 🙄 though the frer is a lot fainter than before I'm I'm hoping that's a good sign 🤞🏼 if still positive next week the EPU will scan me

I can't believe it's been 5 weeks feels like it only just happened. Feeling a little sad today I should have a cute summer bump but instead I've got no bump and spent a small fortune on pregnancy tests that are still positive.

@HoneyPea @ChipAndDip welcome and sorry for your loss ❤️

HoneyPea · 06/07/2022 07:33

Thank you for you kind words.
@Margo34 That's exactly how I feel. Don't feel ready (don't think I ever will) but also don't feel not ready! I'm just very nervous as both DS and Angel DD were conceived in the second month of going with the flow and seeing what will happen.
Currently CD14 but have only tried once or twice this fertile window.

Margo34 · 05/07/2022 22:30

@HoneyPea sorry for your loss and welcome.

I don't think you ever really know if you're ready to TTC again after a MC, in the same kind of way of that cliche "there is never a good time to do xyz".

I've had 3 MC (all first trimester) and for me, I felt ready to not 'not' try again, if that makes sense? I felt ready for qué Sera, I think I mean, and when I recognised that I wasn't so sad about it as often.

You have to be so emotionally tough to be a woman!

Good luck in your journey 💐

MrsGrealish · 05/07/2022 21:15

@HoneyPea I'm so sorry for your loss. My friend had a late miscarriage and every time she talks about him I'm amazed at her strength.

I'm terrified to ttc again and my miscarriages were first trimester. 8 weeks and 6 weeks. Still recovering from the second so probably not the best person to ask Xx

Just wanted to say hi and welcome xx

calimc83 · 05/07/2022 21:02

@HoneyPea oh gosh welcome, I'm so so sorry lovely xxx

calimc83 · 05/07/2022 21:01

@MrsGrealish nothings ever TMI here 🤪 x

mooneagle · 05/07/2022 21:00

@HoneyPea sorry for your loss. I’m too miscarriages down and also terrified but I think I’m more terrified of not having another! It’s a constant rollercoaster of emotions. I think women are so physically and mentally resilient to keep doing this..or mad!!

HoneyPea · 05/07/2022 20:21

Hi, wondering if I could join. TTC #2 after giving birth to our poorly baby girl at 18weeks in Feb. it's her due date in a few days and we have just decided that^ we think^ we are ready to try again! Terrified is the word that comes to mind, how did you all find deciding to try again?

ChipAndDip · 05/07/2022 20:08

Oh that’s so frustrating @MrsGrealish! I had a small bit of tissue left as well but luckily got a negative exactly one month after my medical management, shortly followed by my period so assume it’s all gone now.

Thanks for the welcome @calimc83!

Just agreed with my partner that I’m going to test on Saturday if AF hasn’t shown by then, so we’ll know for sure either way. We don’t have any plans that day so I’ll have time to process whatever the result is x

MrsGrealish · 05/07/2022 19:38

@ChipAndDip as much as I'm scared it's also partly medical 🙈 There's a tiny bit of tissue left the doctor was hoping would come away or be re absorbed by my next period. It was heavy so I thought all good but did a pregnancy test after and it was still a faint positive. So I should be ringing epu but have been putting it off. So I think I'll do another in a few days and then will have to go if positive 😢I feel your pain @Margo34

@calimc83 literally came home from work, went to toilet and saw the spotting (just slight brown CM atm) Automatically felt the need to share so sorry for tmi 🙈🙈

Big thank you from me for listening to my drama😘

calimc83 · 05/07/2022 18:56

@mooneagle I'm sorry it's shit if u are stuck at work as well. Could u start looking again? X

calimc83 · 05/07/2022 18:55

@ChipAndDip welcome 🤗 sorry u find yourself here but it's a lovely board. @MrsGrealish how u getting on?? Oh spotting after ovulation - is it a lot or just a tiny bit? Hope u are ok x

calimc83 · 05/07/2022 18:53

Hey ladies, can't keep up today. Actually had to go into the office today so had to tear myself away from Mumsnet 😆. Sorry about the bfn @TheBirdintheCavebut you're still early? I've never had an early positive. @ballet-shoes welcome 🤗lovely. I'm ever so sorry for your loss. I think my AF turned up 5 weeks after? @Indianna2006 currently 12DPO but don't think I'm gonna test 😬 xx

ChipAndDip · 05/07/2022 18:51

Thank you @MrsGrealish 💜 TTC again feels like nothing has changed but at the same time everything has. Really commend you for taking the time you need to try again. It’s such a horrible thing to go through and I’m sorry you’re feeling scared as well.

Lovely to see so much support on this thread xx

MrsGrealish · 05/07/2022 18:31

Spotting after peak yesterday? This is new 😳

@ChipAndDip so scared. Also scared to ttc I understand you holding off but so much luck if you decide to test Xx

ChipAndDip · 05/07/2022 18:11

Hi ladies, I hope you’re all as well as can be. I recognise some of your names from the miscarriage boards 💐

I’m on first cycle of TTC since medical management of MMC at the end of April. Currently 14dpo and I’ve had a few symptoms over the past week which makes me think I’m in with a good chance. I’m trying to hold off testing for as long as possible. Not really sure why, just a bit nervous I guess. I’m 50/50 constantly thinking about testing but also too scared to! Does anyone feel the same?! 🙈

Indianna2006 · 05/07/2022 17:35

@LuckyMoonstone sorry for the faint tests and then AF arriving. It’s hits you so hard doesn’t it.

@TheBirdintheCave sorry for your new cycle too. How many cycles had you tried since the loss not many? I would say imo. Even though when you conceived your DS he had low motility etc these things change. 15 months isn’t totally abnormal tbh. It’s only slightly behind what they consider normal. And falling within 3 months this time. Totally think you are in for as much chance as anyone else. Just keep going. I’m certain it will happen for you. I know these timeframes can be hard. But giving birth at 37 or 38. Will that really matter if a few more months means a baby or no baby. You won’t care will you.

says me right!! Who also does these timelines. But I know in my head it’s stupid. We can’t plan it. We can’t choose it. We have to let it choose us. As hard as it is.

is anyone else due to test soon in there tww?

i am CD10 today. And due to ovulate in about 3 days. So tick tock lol.

xx

Margo34 · 05/07/2022 13:11

@LuckyMoonstone yes, after March MC!

@ballet-shoes welcome to the club we all wish we weren't a part of!

I'm still testing positive after my more recent MC, actually 4 weeks ago now. Proper lines, not a squinter. Still peeing loads and nips are so sore (but I do have an acrobatic BF toddler so I blame the toddler for that). I called my GP and they booked me in for a scan tomorrow at EPU to check there's nothing left.

Is it going to mess with my emotions all over again? I feel like I'm slowly getting back to a better headspace and this is going to send me out of whack again.

LuckyMoonstone · 05/07/2022 11:28

@MrsGrealish all of mine for the last 6 months have been like it unfortunately :( its horrible

MrsGrealish · 05/07/2022 10:38

@LuckyMoonstone yes!! And longer 🙄 hopefully a one off 😕
