Could someone on here make use of a free unopened box of 20 clear blue advanced digital ovulation tests rrp Β£39.99? They’re BBE Oct 2023. I have no further use for them - having a cupboard clearout in the hope of moving house very shortly and seems a shame to bin them. Willing to post for free to first person to message me their address. I resorted to ivf in the end and got very lucky - 22w currently 🀞

If it hasn't already been taken I would love to.. how very very kind of you! Congratulations πŸ‘ 🎊 πŸ’

I used to have 28-32 day cycles before DS.

I struggled with a short cycle and short LP after getting my periods back after having DS and nursing for a long time.

I've finally got a 28 day cycle (it had been 21) so I'm happy with that.

The worst thing about long cycles is the extra long wait!

WDWY · 19/06/2022 21:49

@ExPatHereForAChat My partner does a great impression of me wiggling from a lying down position to tilting my pelvis upwards with my legs against the wall after DTD. I insist on staying put for at least 20 minutes due to paranoia too. The things we do! I'm CD14 today and the Clearblue Digital isn't showing that I'm in peak fertility yet (but I do have a 32 day cycle)... I feel a bit anxious but still trying to DTD every other day. Does anyone else have longer cycles?

ExPatHereForAChat · 19/06/2022 20:17

@vitahelp I totally hear you about the DTD getting in the way of things. Haha!

Last night I just wanted to catch up on some TV but DH wanted an early night so I had to go up too as it was day 1 of my fertile window. Then I had to stay lying down for ages afterwards because I get paranoid if I don't. Boring AF!

vitahelp · 19/06/2022 19:10

@Indianna2006 Thanks for the second opinion, we’ll do it tonight just to be sure. Starting to feel like a chore now and will get in the way of love island haha!!

MrsGrealish · 19/06/2022 17:46

@Indianna2006 it's so close..just not fully negative yet. That last wee bit of hormone is stubborn! Darent do an FRER yet will wait a week xx

Good luck this cycle lovely 😘

Indianna2006 · 19/06/2022 17:40

@vitahelp it does look like you’ve maybe already ovulated due to temp rise. But you can’t alwyas be sure until three days of raise temps so I would dtd incase to cover bases.

@Charl881 sorry about AF coming. Luteal phrase does usually stay consistent but can change by odd days.
funnily enough I think shorter luteal phases sometimes mean lower progesterone that cycle. So hormones but skew whiff likely. That or the egg that ovuskted wasn’t great quality and so it doesn’t create a high quality corpus cyst which is what release the progesterone and keeps your lining in place. So if it’s lower quality. Breaks down early.
So most likely just not the right cycle anyway if that’s of any help. Or that’s how I try look at it. Want a healthy egg and therefore healthy baby. 🀞🏼😘

@MountainMummy95 deffo could be way too early I think. Still very much in with every chance yet.

@MrsGrealish it’s helps when the tests nearly are negative I think. Feels like you can then actually try move on and get back to normal.

BiscuitLover3678 · 19/06/2022 15:40

Sorry @Charl881

weve been so busy and tired, just bad timing for both of us! Hopefully tonight we can get to it.

@Charl881 sorry about AF hun πŸ˜•

Mummyme87 · 19/06/2022 12:27

@Charl881 yes the chemicals may mess with things. I would so love a March baby, always wanted a spring babe. Cycle 9 now though so not getting hopes up

Charl881 · 19/06/2022 12:21

@Mummyme87 no it was 9 days whereas usually it is 12 days! But I guess two chemicals in a row has thrown it off a bit. I’m not too fussed as I think it will be good to have a couple of normal cycles now to see what’s going on, and I’m due blood tests at the doctors as well to see if there is anything underlying causing them.

Ironically still on for a March baby if we do try this cycle (did say we were taking a break but not unsure) as next DD would be 26th March πŸ˜‚

Mummyme87 · 19/06/2022 11:58

Ah sorry AF came @Charl881 was your luteal phase the same length? It’s supposed to be. Mine is always 12days

8dpo is very early for testing @MountainMummy95 with my DS2 I tested a possible something 10dpo and a clear positive 11dpo, my period would have been due at 13dpo

I'm CD6 now so will start doing OPK tomorrow. Not sure if I’ll bother temping as I wake so frequently at night. I usually ovulate CD11-15, typically CD13. Did my LH and FSH bloods yesterday so will see what they are like on Tuesday when I’m back at work. I’ve started these Wild Nutrition vitamins also and so has my OH. I’m debating buying omega 3 and CoQ10 or whatever it’s called as it doesn’t seem to be in it and I know it’s good

MountainMummy95 · 19/06/2022 10:44

Oh @ThePodParent... exciting 🀞🀞🀞

MountainMummy95 · 19/06/2022 10:43

Thanks guys... this makes me feel bit better! I guess I should just hold off now until closer to the end of the week.

ThePodParent · 19/06/2022 10:24

@MountainMummy95 I tested completely negative at 12dpo with my daughter and then very much positive the next day (both fmu), so bfn at 8dpo definitely doesn’t mean you’re out ☺️ 🀞🏼

CD15 today and got some EWCM this morning so should be on the run up to ovulating now! Normally ovulate cd20 these days (post bub), but hoping it might be a bit earlier as it would be nice to go back to shorter cycles again.

vitahelp · 19/06/2022 10:02

@MountainMummy95 When I got pregnant with DD I first tested at 11dpo and the line was extremely faint - if I had tested at 8dpo if would have been blank. So you’re definitely very early and not out yet.

MountainMummy95 · 19/06/2022 09:48

@Charl881 Aw I'm sorry!! Its so frustrating when you dont know exactly what your body is doing!

I tested this morning using fmu with an IC... so much for holding out πŸ™„ It was blank. Totally and completely. I'm only 8dpo... could it just be too early? Or am I out??

vitahelp · 19/06/2022 09:33

Any charters out there who can help? I’m wondering if it’s worth DTD today or is it likely I’ve ovulated based on the dip yesterday (unreliable reading due to being woken early by DD) and the rise today?

I was hoping for a sharper rise than that but it may be more gradual, I suppose tomorrow will tell me a lot.

vitahelp · 19/06/2022 09:31

@Charl881 Im sorry to hear that, I’m half expecting a random cycle as well so feeling wary. I hope AF days go by quickly for you then you can start again.

Charl881 · 19/06/2022 08:35

Well I wasn’t imagining the spotting but it was in fact AF arriving six days early! God knows what is going on with my cycles, I did ovulate early but only by a few days. At least I’ve saved a fortune on tests this month πŸ˜… Good luck everyone else.

MrsGrealish · 18/06/2022 23:34

@Charl881 it's bittersweet. I'm so programmed to wanting 2 lines it's difficult to see them turn to nothing. But I've been v careful need a fresh cycle to continue my plan πŸ˜‚

MrsGrealish · 18/06/2022 23:30

@Charl881 I'm very hopeful. Any time I've been pregnant zero pms symptoms, no sore boobs nothing..fx lovely xx

Charl881 · 18/06/2022 23:26

@MrsGrealish that must be a relief and gutting all at once!

So after convincing myself this month isn’t my month, tonight I’ve had the teeniest tiniest bit of spotting. Literally a couple of pink dots. Probably nothing but I’m 9dpo so obviously have now swung the other direction and got my hopes up far too much.

Is DH not keen @BiscuitLover3678?

MrsGrealish · 18/06/2022 20:24

@BiscuitLover3678 ooh what CD are you now? Honestly I'm living my life through you girls now πŸ˜‚

I'm ok. A bit moody. Likely pms and the crash of hormones. It's hateful tbh
