I think that’s partly why I did my FRER to be honest, I just wanted rid of it. If AF doesn’t show tomorrow then I can just buy any old brand. I don’t need to keep Amazon priming FRERs, they won’t actually change whether or not I’m pregnant.

Don’t give FRER another penny Mrs G! The only reason we use them is because they’re sensitive enough for early testing which in itself is not a great idea! If we hold out long enough a £4 Superdrug test should be just as accurate!

@Charl881 honestly that would be a killer for me. I'm off another week now with the covid..send help. Have one FRER left and it's staring at me

@Wouldloveanother That’s such a good plan! I may join you on that. The evap lines etc just make it even worse, at least if you wait until you late then that’s not an issue. I love the present idea as well.I feel the same about FRERs now.

@MrsGrealish I definitely think part of my issue is working from home! When I was working in an office every day I wouldn’t have had time to sit there analysing and inverting tests.

@Wouldloveanother yep I'm with you there. Hate FRERs. I was off work this week and this made it so much harder to resist. Literally hate myself every time I waste one.

I’m not buying FRERs any more out of principle - I’ve seen so many negatives now and given them so many £££ I feel quite bitter! The plan is to wait until period is 1 day late, buy a regular test from boots or Superdrug, and take it with FMU the next day. If it’s negative I get to buy myself a present!

when I feel tempted to test I’m going to remind myself how stressful line analysing is, and even if i got a line it would be so faint as to be an anticlimax - I wouldn’t tell DH until it was stronger anyway. Much better to get a beaming BFP and have that moment of surprise/joy!

I definitely will next cycle! I was never like this with TTC #1 and was much happier and richer for it! It will take a lot of will power though.

@Charl881 ive got a ‘no testing until missed period’ thread if you want to join for moral support! Like you I winced when I realised how much money I had literally pissed away last month - it cannot continue!

I’m so annoyed, just done my last FRER even though I knew it would be a BFN. I’ve wasted so much money on tests this month. Next month I’m definitely not testing early because I’m sending myself mad doing this every single cycle not to mention how much I’m spending!!

@Charl881 god I've been crying into my T-shirt for the past half hr😭 I need to cough it hurts to cough and it's so warm. Pregnancy front I did an IC at 3am still bfn. Still no AF. Tiny brown cm 🤷‍♀️ just a late one for me I think

@MrsGrealish I know, going to be one of those annoying cycles when AF is late. It just continuous BFNs I reckon! Wish she’d just hurry up if I’m not pregnant. How are you feeling today?

Holy shit, was not expecting this!

BFN this morning on a FRER. 12dpo today so it really should be showing! I had maybe a shadow of a line if I squinted/ edited so I’m assuming I’ve just been a victim of these nasty evap lines again. AF is due today.

I have one FRER left which I’ll use tomorrow if still no sign.

Oh no, rubbish that you’re not only feeling so rubbish you can’t get out of bed but also that you think AF is imminent. At least you can soon stopping looking for lines. To be honest I’m pretty sure AF is also imminent for me and will arrive bang on time tomorrow. I know I’ve had hints of lines past the time etc but I honestly think that if I was pregnant it would be showing by now. Obviously I’ll update you after my FRER in the morning anyway!

I was literally just lying thinking I wonder when painkillers are next due (body aches) and I felt my spotting start again. So at a pinch I'm saying I'm out for March. 3000 tests later 😂

@MrsGrealish Ugh I don’t know to be honest. Part of me is absolutely convinced that I’m pregnant and that it’s just too early to show properly on the tests. The other part of me is thinking how foolish I’ll be at all this wasted time and energy when AF shows tomorrow.

Trying to decide whether to have a drink in the sun tonight or whether I should be sensible just in case!

@Maxime34 I'm 11dpo today bored so burning through my cheapies at an alarming rate. I can imagine that about the progesterone. Early pregnancy is hideous but inducing pregnancy symptoms with no baby sounds much worse. I can't take anything hormonal. I had a mini stroke in my twenties with the progesterone pill. 🙈

@Tropicana1 I know I got it end of February and it wasn't nice but symptoms were not like this. I kinda feel grateful knowing something was wrong I was losing my mind a bit yesterday. The covid and preg tests were both negative but I felt awful.
