@Hopingforarainbow27 congratulations! I'm in the same boat I had a positive Sunday and didn't progress much next few days but today definitely progression!

Tropicana1 · 29/06/2022 13:43

Congratulations @HappyBx

@HR2022 im the same, trying to take a little step back from the boards because I'm getting ott stressed so a bit more in and out with my posting this month

@MountainMummy95 I had similar - early induction with cholestasis bile acids right up at 145 so was all a bit of a rush after the blood test, horrible and my body was not ready at all and ended with an emergency C section. I am 100% having an elective c section if I get cholestasis again

Hopingforarainbow27 · 29/06/2022 13:41

@Wouldloveanother @TheCuriouscakedecorator I was worrying it was a chemical because the two cheap tests I done hadn't changed from Sunday! Thank you both. Praying this little one makes it

Hopingforarainbow27 · 29/06/2022 12:13

Do you think this is ok for progression? Top is Sunday night and bottom is now. I know I shouldn't overthink this! But after 4 losses I can't help it

Better than ok! It literally can’t get much darker than that I think!

My camera isn't very good I've tried but you cant see it on the photo. I'm pretty certain its an evaporation line as I noticed it way after the 5 mins.

Hi. Can I join here!? I just found out I'm pregnant. I've had three miscarriages in the last two years so just taking a day at a time!

Ha ha! Not THAT bit - that’s definitely not boring πŸ˜…! I mean 1-6dpo where nothing really happens is boring. 😴

mariabombia · 28/06/2022 14:35

Thank you @Mummyme87 & @ExPatHereForAChat I can't actually believe itπŸ’• I called the dr to tell them today & felt like I was lying lol.

I’m 7dpo and keep thinking β€˜Well I don’t feel pregnant so I must be out for this month’, but the earliest I’ve ever felt pregnant was 8dpo… so I know I’m being silly! Glad I’m in the second half of the TWW though - the boring first half is done!

@MountainMummy95 definitely increased risk of OC in subsequent pregnancies but don’t get into your head that it will definitely happen as many many women don’t get it again. Also, if you did the IOL recommendations have changed recently, IOL not recommended until 39weeks unless levels are over 100 then should be early. My friend had a successful VBAC with spontaneous labour over 40weeks after having OC IOL in first pregnancy at 37weeks which resulted in CS.

I’ll be aiming for a VBAC, ideally spontaneous labour (two previous IOLs) if I’m lucky enough to get pregnant again. Ideally with a smaller baby also (first baby 10lb 5, second 10lb πŸ₯΄)

Technically 4th March if I go the full 40... but I doubt it. Was induced at 37 weeks because of cholestasis with my first pregnancy, and you're likely to get it again in subsequent pregnancies, so I would say baby will make an appearance at some point in Feb.

The thought of being induced again makes me feel a little bit sick though. It was awful, my body was not ready for labour and I really struggled with it (PP hemorrage, 3 day labour, sepsis infection etc) Part of me would like to ask if I could just go naturally or if I could have an elective CS... but I dunno if either of those options will go down well with midwives and consultants.

I would definitely consider an elective! You’re completely within your rights to and now the NHS has changed this year that they don’t have targets about limiting c section numbers in hospitals so hopefully they will suggest them more to mums and babies who will benefit.

Me too! Although the second half is when I start getting grumpy and upset about it all πŸ˜‚
