5dpo - looking for cycle buddies!

Hi everyone!

5dpo today, trying my very hardest to stay off google and not symptom spot as even I know it's way too early!!

Anyone else want to buddy up for this cycle?

I always try and tell myself it's not over until I get my period.

Please don’t give up hope! I was ttc for 2 years before I got my bfp. The positive test only showed up when I was 2 days late.

Hi @emhope I tested this morning as well and jt was a solid negative.. I'm going to wait 3/4 days and then test again. I feel the same as you though, I feel like something should have shown up. We're not out yet though 🤞

Anyone else tested today?

I tested using a FRER and it’s a negative 😢 and again not even a shadow or hint of a line. I should be 8-9 dpo so I know it still could be too early but I just feel like something (even extremely faint) would have shown up so im pretty certain im out this month now 😔

@emhope I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, honestly wishing you all the luck. You're not out until your period comes so I'm hoping this month is your month ⭐️ it can be such a tough journey but it will happen for us!

Well I caved and did a test and was a complete stark white negative! Not even the hint of a shadow or line, feel really annoyed I did it now as it has left me disappointed even though I know it was probably too early.

Sorry to hear it’s been a long process for you, really hope this is the month for you to get your BFP 🤞🏻

We haven’t been trying long, were very lucky and got pregnant back in March on our first month of trying but lost the baby at 10 weeks 😔 this is our first month trying again after the miscarriage so I know chances are we won’t be so fortunate to fall on the first cycle again but really hoping for our rainbow baby.

I'm so tempted to test today!! I know I need to wait until tomorrow though, I'm just so nervous!! I'm also 7/8dpo today but I'm fairly certain I ovulated on the Friday as I felt pain so more likely 8 today.

Have you all been trying for a while? We've been trying for over 2 years so it's definitely been a journey!

I am really tempted to test today even though I told myself I would wait until tomorrow 😬 only 7-8dpo but have a box of cheap tests (easy@home) so tempting to just try one… Also have FRER tests for tomorrow.

@itsnearlymytime what test did you use today?

Tiredness and cramping are defo symptoms! I still have thrush feeling but feel fine other than that xx

@itsnearlymytime ahh let us know how you get on!! Are you still planning on testing tomorrow?

I keep having doubts because I have no symptoms apart from tiredness and feeling a bit of cramping these last few days. I know it's still really really early but I'll take a test tomorrow morning.

I'm feeling very hopeful tonight, when I was pregnant 5 years ago one of my symptoms was thrush (early pregnancy ended In MC) I never get thrush! I'm 7dpo today and I've suddenly gotten thrush, it's the same as before, burns when I wee and I keep wanting a bath! The fact I haven't had it since I was last pregnant has seriously got my hopes up, feel like you can't symptom spot thrush as in your can't just think you're feeling it? It genuinely does hurt haha

@itsnearlymytime we did it quite a lot over my fertile time 😆 only day we missed was Friday which was when I got my 2nd positive OPK. Hopefully it was enough without this day though 🤞🏻

@MCG2022 yes I’m also feeling nervous about testing. I’ve been getting a bit of lower back ache and also have a constant horrible taste in my mouth the last 2 days. I know it’s probably too early to be getting symptoms though but I had this in my last pregnancy (sadly ended in MMC at 10w😞) but didn’t get it until after my BFP so I know chances are it’s not related but so hard to not get your hopes up with potential symptoms though!

@emhope eek we're the same I think! I am 7dpo today! I didn't track ovulation with OPK this month as it's been sending me crazy! But I had EWCM on Friday and Saturday so I either ovulated Friday or Saturday 😃 I am testing Sunday @ 8dpo today!! How many times did you DTD we only did it 3 so I'm a little worried x

I’m either 6 or 7 DPO (bit confused with OPK’s as positive OPK on 2nd June but stronger positive on 3rd so not sure which I go by?!)

I am thinking of testing on Sunday when I will be around 9 dpo 😬

@itsnearlymytime I feel really nervous as well! This is my first cycle using ovulation induction medications and I had scans which confirmed I was about to ovulate. I don't want to get my hopes up until I get a positive result. How have you been feeling today?

@MCG2022 I went out and grabbed a test from the chemist as my amazon FRERs still haven't turned up. I'll attach the result.
It's a 25mui test. I'm scared incase I've got my hopes up, there's definitely a line with colour and within the time frame
I wish I could have held out longer so I could get a very obvious positive but I couldn't wait!
Will confirm with the FRER whenever it turns up today

@itsnearlymytime I'm 7dpo too! I've had weird pains down below as well which I don't think I've had before.. at this point I'm welcoming all weird pains if it means I'm pregnant 😂

@Tracking welcome!! From what I've read on here FRER are the most reliable tests so I'm hoping you get your BFP!

I'm going to test on Sunday morning, feeling very nervous!

I'm currently around 10dpo, could be 11dpo. I usually track my temperature but this month I had a cold and fever which messed my temperatures right up!
I have already tested with a 20mui cheap test yesterday and it's the faintest of faintest lines within the time frame. I'm currently waiting for amazon to deliver me my FRER as they don't sell them in shops local to me.
My boobs are burning alot, I've got a weird pinpoint pain in my pubic bone and the last 2 days I've had to take naps.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up but the signs are all there.
