Oooh, my first big thread

May I begin by saying I wish you all the bestest of luck!

Ok, shall I attempt to update the list?

Hope AF stays away for you sambrands. Are you planning to test?

FL I hope it is implantation for you! A word of warning though... I have never had any spotting before but I had it this cycle and was searching mumsnet for implantation bleed info, but it wasn't . Hope I'm not the voice of doom.

clairepo Your post to FL suggests you are going to look over her cervix for her this evening!! It made me chuckle

Hello to everyone else.

sambrads · 23/01/2008 17:14

hello everyone my af is due today but surprise surprise still no sign of it !!!

i would be so excited if i didnt know that i have not ovulated already!!!!!!

hopefully it will be my month this month!!!!

hi ya fruitloop how are you ????

clouisewood · 23/01/2008 15:24

Month not morning!!

clouisewood · 23/01/2008 15:23

Hi everyone.
CD17 today but still don't think i've OV; not sure I can tell the difference between EWCM and the little boys though. The more reading I do, the more I think that my cycles might be annovlatory...If I get BFN this morning or AF I think i'm going to start charting.
Lots of storks for all of u **

ClairePO · 23/01/2008 15:05

Fruitloop you can get bleeding post bd when you're post ov I think - I read it in the TCOYF book. Basically its just him hitting your cervix and causing a little bleeding, will try to remember to look at it tonight for you.

ClairePO · 23/01/2008 14:52

Clucky - you aren't the only one. I even think it to myself when feeling down. We've done it once we can do it again sort of thing.

cluckyagain · 23/01/2008 14:34

Hi all - oddly I seem to be the only one who took comfort from the 'at least you know you can pregnant' line - I had it a few times after my first mc (b4 ds)- it had taken a long time to get pg so I guess it's what I wanted to hear. I can totally appreciate that it's not a great phrase for all though. Here's to sticky cells! I'm currently wondering if I have sore boobs and occasional nausea - can;t decide if it's real or just wishful thinking. All will be revealed with time.

fruitloop79 · 23/01/2008 14:20

Hiya you lot.

Very strange, Bd'd this morning and I had a bit of spotting. I had a teeny tiny spec of blood a few weeks ago (only noticed when looked on tissue) but this was like proper spotting. Not much, only three or four spots but I've never had it before ever. Do you think my body's playing tricks on me?

Hi Mibbes

Yes I thought that as I was updating the list and was going to send you a note but you've beaten me to it!

I am very new to this and the cycle I have just had is the longest ever for me - am sure I'm normally 28 and this one was about 34/35. I think it just shows that thinking about it constantaly/stress can delay it. Do you normally have long cycles or was 44 days unusual for you too?

I did order some OPKs from ebay on Monday, hopefully they'll be there when I get home today so am going to try those this month. I am going keep a close check on exactly what is going on - tehre is a big red cross on today's page in my diary!

Let's hope this is our month and we both graduate eh?!

mibbes · 23/01/2008 13:26

yay Eleveld we are cycle buddies and almost in exactly the same position ie relatively new to ttc and tryng for #1 ! are you using opks/charitng ? I am doing both this month as just had a nasty 44 day cycle so need to keep a close check on what is going on

NOAM So sorry to hear your news. I've had 2 chemical pregnancies since May and it is horrible. I understand what you mean about the feelings not being as relevant (if that is the right word to use) as someone who has had a MC later on. The EPU did tell me they do class it as very early MC ultimately a PG did start. I'm not sure I've made any sense but I just wanted you to know I understand.

MTW waves back at cycle buddy Bucky

I've been using the Persona and I got my OV sign today so I should be ovulating in the next 48 hours We BD'd last night so will keep it up (so to speak) for a few more days and hope for the best.

Hello to everyone else.

mibbes · 23/01/2008 12:33

LOL SB If I were you I'd throw caution to the wind a wee bit but try not to get absolutely "fall-over" drunk just in case... there were lots of ladies who got fed up 'being good' and hit the alcohol over xmas then got BFPs ! Although a BFP on Friday would be ideal .

SydneyB · 23/01/2008 11:28

What am I on about - meant to say BFN on friday would be ok too. Although it wouldn't really. Going away now..

SydneyB · 23/01/2008 11:27

Oh and of course a BFP on friday would be another good outcome too! Duh.

SydneyB · 23/01/2008 11:26

Mibbes I know, I know but I've got this hen weekend this weekend! What am I going to do if its a BFN, no AF before the weekend? If I don't get royally pissed then AF will arrive on Monday and I'll be annoyed for having not drunk. And if I do get royally pissed perhaps I'm pregnant and then that would be really bad.. Oh jeez. Please AF or BFP on friday!

mibbes · 23/01/2008 11:19

Thanks JollyBear, am relieved that it is over, hopefully a more "normal" cycle lies ahead ! temp dropped yesterday to 36.51 (had been 36.6 and above for 13 days) then today down to 36.41. FF has started a shiny new chart for me . This is ridiculous I must the happiest MNer on CD1 ever !
cricri and SydneyB step away from HPTs !!
MissusH I look forward to hearing news... Quite a few planning to test over the weekend then - woohoo it is exciting when we have lots of testers
Thanks ClairePO I hope so too

ClairePO · 23/01/2008 10:57

sorry she got you mibbes hope you have a shorter cycle this time, well a longer one really iyswim

SydneyB · 23/01/2008 10:43

Morning ladies - Mibbes as other people have said, at least AF is here and you can move on. I am still waiting to see if odd bit of brown spotting is going to turn into AF. CD27 but am determined not to test until Fri am. Strange how this funny limbo land can be quite nice. As long as it doesn't go on too long. I guess its better than crashing back down to earth when AF does arrive or you get a BFN.

Emmsy am sure its not ectopic. I went through the exact same thought process last month but I'm sure you'd really know it if it was and as other people have said the pain is SEVERE and you wouldn't be getting it this early. How stressful though.

MissusH · 23/01/2008 10:21

I'm still here and still no sign of af, am sneaky posting cos my boss is around today.

Haven't been on the ttc boards as often lately as trying not to obsess. Will test at the weekend if af doesn't arrive....

JollyBear · 23/01/2008 10:00

HCB mibbes I'm so pleased that your AF has arrived! Obviously a late BFP would have been fantastic but at least you can leave this cycle behind and concentrate on the next Did your temp drop a lot?

emmsy like mibbes says it is too early to test but implantation pains can happen (or so I've read). Fingers crossed for you.

cricri Good luck with not testing! Fingers crossed for you too.

Hello to everyone else

cricri · 23/01/2008 09:07

Sorry AF got you Mibbes, but good to no longer be in limbo and able to start a new cycle I guess.
Fingers crossed for you Emmsy.
CD32 for me but I'm determined not to test until next Monday (last cycle was 35 days). No symptoms really - I feel tired and have been having vivid dreams for the past week but I'm determined not to read anything into this!
Hope everybody else is OK.

Hi Kate great to hear from you - hope all is going well with your wee bean !
Well the wait is finally over for me and AF arrived properly last night, so CD1 at last !
I think Emmsy may have a few days to wait as if FF is correct she will find out what is going in (get her BFP) this weekend - I have fingers tightly crossed for you Emmsy .
Why has it been so quiet around here ? Ladies where are you ?
