@RMS0209 the dip and then the 2 rises is great! I don’t doubt ovusense will confirm it soon!

my BBT seems to have settled at around the same temp the last 3 days so that’s good 👍

RMS0209 · 01/06/2022 07:06

@Loz365 yes do keep us posted!! All the best ☺️

@Moosh18 yep that's the hope - there should be a large follicle which is the egg about to ovulate and then they tell you to go away a DTD loads and hopefully I get pregnant 🤣 there's a risk it can overstimulate your ovaries which is why the do the scans etc.

@RMS0209 I reckon I get stuck in a Google rabbit hole most days, we'll all be experts by the end of this!

@Peonies94 thank you! I'll report back after the scan 😆

Peonies94 · 31/05/2022 11:06

@RMS0209 thsnk you! It was soo good to see it, even though it means nothing really! I seemed to have it early too! I’m 5 weeks either today or tomorrow! I’ve read most people get it lster rather than earlier! I just want my first scan as soon as possible now, but trying to hold off 2 weeks, to hopefully see a heart beat!

i know it’s easier said than done, but try not to panic too much! I never ovulated as early as 20 and then I had 2 normal length cycles out of no where! It was after I took the myo Insitol but not sure if it’s coincidence! I ordered mine from online pharmacy!

sounds like you covered basis! Hopefully you’ll be successful! 🤞 i know exactly what you mean about Google rabbit hole! I thought I was bad before, since my bfp I have hardly slept and keep falling into the Googling rabbit holes myself! Thought I’d be better after a positive, but I’m worse!

@Loz365 no, I’ve told a manager in work who is also a really close friend. We had a drinking event a few days after I found out, and i also needed to make some changes in work, other than that we’ve told no one! We are hoping to tell parents after the first scan of all looks okay, and then tell everyone else at 12 weeks! Good luck with your scan tomorrow! I really hope it’s good news for you!!

@Moosh18 must be able too it's a bundle deal? Worth a try I guess! X

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 10:54

@RMS0209 does it say you can take both together? X

RMS0209 · 31/05/2022 10:53

@Moosh18 will I get both of these? X

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 10:34

The concieve plus I think you just take the whole month! The iso iso only take certain days! Amazon sell the vitamin one so read the reviews! X

RMS0209 · 31/05/2022 10:33

@Moosh18 down another rabbit hole online I go!
thanks so much for the recommendation, I guess it's a supplement I can take all cycle? So I could start it as soon as it arrives? Xx

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 10:14

@RMS0209 personally I would try the concieve plus ovulation support as that has it included! If you read the reviews it's amazing!

RMS0209 · 31/05/2022 09:56

What one should I get Soya or the Myo? I'm confused!! Or should I get both x

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 09:41

@Loz365 good luck!' Will they see the egg about to ovulate??? Xxx

Loz365 · 31/05/2022 09:29

Morning!

My temps seem to be setting out now. Ultrasound tomorrow so just hoping we get good news then we'll have long weekend of DTD 🤣

@Peonies94 at least you've got the booking appt to help pass the time a bit! Have you told anyone?

@RMS0209 sorry to hear you're feeling deflated. 💐It's so sh!t isn't it. I try to stay positive but each month gets harder and harder. Myo inositol definitely helped my cycles, I just bought it on Amazon and the infertility consultant told me to keep taking it, so might be worth a try? X

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 09:29

@RMS0209 but I've also read reallt really good things about that conceive plus ovulation support! That was my next thing to try!

Info on soy below xxx

Soya Isoflavones are derived from soya beans. They have been dubbed “the natural Clomid,”
As they work in pretty much an identical manner.
Just like Clomid; Soya Isoflavones work by tricking your body into thinking its low on oestrogen. Your body then kick starts production of FSH (Follicle-stimulating hormone) followed by LH (Luteinizing hormone) Which are both necessary to release Healthy Eggs during ovulation.
FSH is released at the start of the menstrual cycle; it stimulates the growth of an immature egg into a fully matured egg. When the egg has matured your body then releases a surge of LH. LH is the hormone that tells the ovary to release the egg.

WHEN?
You take Soy Isoflavones, like Clomid, on either CD 1-5 , 2-6, 3-7 , 4-8 or 5-9.
If you take soy Isoflavones during the later time bracket, for example CD5-9, you shall strengthen the egg that has already started growing producing a healthier egg. The earlier in your cycle you take It, the higher your chance of releasing multiple eggs but these eggs will not be as mature as the eggs grown from taking Soya later.
A lot of women will choose the middle cycle (3 -7) allowing time for a strong and healthy egg to develop without erasing the chance of a second egg being developed and released.

1-5 = you produce more eggs, and ovulate sooner, with a stronger ovulation.

2-6 = you produce more eggs that usual, but not as many as taking it 1-5. Eggs may be more mature, and ovulation will be slightly more strong than 1-5.

3-7 = The best of both worlds, a few more eggs, and all eggs will be strong & mature, and ovulation will be alot stronger than 1-5.

4-8 = No more eggs will be produced, but the ones already there, will be matured alot more than usual, and ovulation will be very strong. Ovulation may only be brought forward a teeny bit.

5-9 = You'll have one very mature strong egg, from the ones you already produced on your own. Ovulation will either happen when it usually does, or a few days later, but your egg will be of great quality.

DOSE?
The dose is really down to you but you should always use the lowest amount that works for you.
With Clomid the starting dose is 100mg. Soya Isoflavones are said to be half the strength of Clomid, so it makes sense for the starting dose to be 100mg.
The trouble with 100mg of soya is that the capsules tend to come as 40mg. So you have a choice of starting at 80mg.
Some women change the dose on different days. So they may start at 120mg for the first 3 days then give an extra boost for the last 2 days with 160mg.

As I have said though, use the lowest dose possible for yourself. If you ovulate using 120mg/day stick to that for a few cycles. GIVE IT A CHANCE. It is said that it takes 3months to get the full benefits of what you are taking. NEVER EXCEED 200mg/day.

OTHER BENEFITS?
The following potential health benefits are attributed to Isoflavones:
Reduce heart disease risk
Protect against prostate problems
improve bone health
Reduce cancer risk

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 09:26

@RMS0209 I'm not sure? But I never had any side effects or anything with the soy! Took it at bedtime! If you need any help on the dosage etc I took just let me know! You can get them from Holland and barrett xx

RMS0209 · 31/05/2022 09:23

@Moosh18 trying... but I think I could have the worlds most over active mind... and a google rabbit hole at midnight isn't a fun place to be 😂

Where did you get your soy from? I think I might order some, is that the same as the Myo (sorry I'm not to clued up in all this?) xxx

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 09:20

@RMS0209 try not to worry, I had such irregular cycles, with no reason at all for it ranging normally from ovulation between 17-32, I took soy isoflavones and they definitely regulated it to between 19-24 xxxx

RMS0209 · 31/05/2022 08:54

Morning!
How are you? @Peonies94 💗
Love the 3+ picture made me smile to see.

So we managed Sat & Sun... really hope that's enough, probably isn't but just need to accept it is what it is.
I don't know how you kept sane until then!
I have no idea what's caused this but it's worrying me, I normally peak cycle 17/18 latest but the last two months has been 23/24
It's worrying me that something is happening inside that shouldn't be?
Where did you get your Myo Insitol from? I just think I am so scared to take anything else that lengthens it incase I end up here but worse..

I have the hairdresser after work today so looking forward to some pamper time x
!❤️

Peonies94 · 31/05/2022 08:47

@RMS0209 have you tried myo Insitol before?

OP posts:
Peonies94 · 31/05/2022 08:47

@RMS0209 yayy!! Sorry to hear your feeling deflated! Did you manage to cover it or was your DH away? It’s such a tough time isn’t it!! It’s soo hard when your waiting soo long for a peak! I use to not get a peak until cd40 + and then suddenly I had 2 normal length cycles! I swear it’s the vitamins/myo Insitol which helped, but could have just been coincidence! I honestly thought it would never happen for me, and although it’s mega early days, I had my positive after only having 5 ‘try’s’ a year due to cycles being so irregular!

i really do sympathise for you!! Do something for yourself that makes you happy, and give yourself time! Sending best wishes to you on this blinking horrible journey!❤️
