So I’m out AGAIN!

Trying to move forward.

Anyone else hoping to conceive a Feb baby?

I’d be due around Feb 20th if this month actually does anything!

Good luck to those testing this weekend / coming days, and hope the TWW goes quick for anyone just starting it.

I'm 12DPO (cycle day 26) today. Symptoms so far have been really bad lower back ache when walking, lower cramps and fatigue. This is only my second cycle so not really sure what my "usual" pre AF symptoms are to compare them!

En route home from holiday today so will probs test later or tomorrow morning with FMU! X

MamaSJ15 · 31/05/2022 21:21

@Charl881 oo that's good, we can stick together through the cycle then. How long are your cycles usually?
Yes definitely, we went away for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago too which was right before AF was due so it did take my mind off it for a bit!

Thank you, you too!

Tropicana1 · 31/05/2022 20:43

@Charl881 yea I was going to say I've read that you're more fertile after a chemical / MC so fingers crossed that the aspirin helps it stick if you are Lucky this month!

Opk today is definitely getting darker and I usually only have a really short surge so I would guess tonight or tomorrow for my surge. Could be wrong though! My body likes to mess me around πŸ˜‚

Charl881 · 31/05/2022 19:40

@BiscuitLover3678 Yeah I think early testing does help you mentally prepare yourself. Even after these two chemicals now I will still test early, I would rather that than still be full of hope and imagining symptoms on the day AF arrives. Fingers crossed it’s not a negative for you though!

@Tropicana1 get peeing on those sticks πŸ˜‚ hopefully you get your peak soon. Yep I’ve had two consecutive chemicals. I doubt I’d be lucky to fall three cycles in a row but if I do then apparently aspirin is meant to help reduce the risk of an early miscarriage, you can take it all the way up until week 36 I think but obviously in consultation with midwife / doctor. I’m having blood tests after this cycle to find out if there is something causing the chemicals but in the meantime I figured I might as well try the aspirin, especially as you’re meant to be more fertile after a chemical/ miscarriage.

@Charl881 Time just seems to go so slow doesn't it, I'm 7/8 dpo today and the days are just dragging x

It’s so slow.

I’m going to test on Sunday with an early as I feel like it reduces the stress if I’m negative a few times before AF is due.

anyone else testing over the weekend?

Can I jump on here please - had my BFP last week on 8DPO and will be due mid Feb 2023 if all goes to planSmile

Does anyone plan to have/have any experience of an early private scan? Or have any recommendations for a clinic in the Cardiff area? It seems like such a long time to wait between now and 12 weeks!

Hi - I'm also in cardiff πŸ‘‹πŸ» ☺️ I'm looking at Peekaboo baby scan in Penarth or ultrasound direct. I went to ultrasound direct when they were in Mothercare for our gender scan with first baby, they were good πŸ‘πŸΌ

Tropicana1 · 31/05/2022 14:28

started getting ewcm so time to opk 3x a day to catch my peak 🀣
How's everyone else?
@Charl881 with the aspirin if you do conceive on it how lon LH do you carry it on afterwards? It's to try to reduce risk of another chemical is that rifght?

Charl881 · 31/05/2022 13:59

@MamaSJ15 I think our cycles must be back in sync. A long weekend sounds a great way to help pass some of the TWW. Good luck next week!

I’m ok, just fed up. I’ll be happier this time next week when fertile window is starting and I can feel some hope again.

MamaSJ15 · 31/05/2022 13:43

@Charl881 sorry to take so long, the website keeps playing up on me. How are you doing?

AF is slowly coming to an end so happy about that! And we've booked another long weekend in a couple of weeks which will help the TWW! DH seems to have a lot on next week which would be our key fertile time so I've got to try sneak some 'us' time in there too πŸ˜‚

Charl881 · 31/05/2022 11:59

How’s everyone doing? I’m so fed up, still a whole week away from my fertile window starting let alone another TWW.

Doing what I can to eat better, stocked us all up on vitamins, got blood tests booked in with doctor for next cycle (if this one is unsuccessful) and going to take aspirin from 1dpo this cycle. Got all my OPKs stocked up. All I can do now I wait and I’m bored of that already.

allthingssparkly · 30/05/2022 08:52

Your chart is looking promising @Catred4 🀞

No, I was going to but I'm going to hold out till mid week instead 😊😊 x

Catred4 · 30/05/2022 08:30

@allthingssparkly are you testing today?

I'm 7dpo today but my BBT has risen again in exactly the same way that it did in my first and only other pregnancy. Trying to be realistic and take one day at a time but so desperate to find out πŸ˜‚

This TWW is feeling sooooo long πŸ˜‚ I only ovulated Thursday/Friday

I totally hear you.. im only 3dpo and I'm 'looking' for symptoms which I know is insane! I dont even think it's biologically possible at this stage 🀣

Have an amazing holiday and Happy Birthday @HR2022 πŸ₯³

I had some twinges yesterday evening, but nothing else that I've noticed.

Hopefully this coming week brings us some good news 🀞 x

Tell me I did not just imagine this… omg!!!!!! This isn’t a squinty line, this is a proper line!! Should I do a backup one today or later? Do people usually go for a Clear Blue to be sure or is First Response accurate enough? When do I call the doctor?? πŸ™ˆ

Congrats!! Looks very positive to me! Xx

allthingssparkly · 29/05/2022 07:55

Woke up from a very vivid dream that there were two lines on a pregnancy test 😬😬

9dpo today, holding out until tomorrow to test x

Keep us updated!! I'm in Spain now on holibobs but did bring a cheeky test with me to test Tuesday!
I've had twinges, cramps and pulling sensations allll day today and it's my birthday so that's fun but hopefully they are because we've been successful and not just AF on her way πŸ‘€
Fingers crossed for you tomorrow! Have you got any other symptoms?? :)

Tropicana1 · 29/05/2022 08:03

@BanjoVio congratulations!! That's a great line!

Think I might be going to have an early ovulation this month πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ got back aches / twinges, and my opk first thing this morning is already 0.31 (I usually only start to register anything on the day before / day of my peak, I have a really short sharp LH surge) so I'm going to test again later today but I'm only CD9 and DH has been away all week 😭 bloody typical, I usually ovulate around CD14-16. Hopefully I'm wrong but feel like it's coming.

@BanjoVio confratulations! That’s a proper proper line, you’re definitely pregnant.

most areas you don’t call a doctor, you self refer to the local midwife service and they will first see you at eight weeks so a while away yet.

if you wanted to do another test just for peace of mind I’d either do a clear blue digital weeks indicator, or wait a couple of days and do another first response.

Ohhh ok, thank you! I’m so clueless. Digitals are ordered and on the way. Fingers crossed!

BanjoVio · 29/05/2022 07:44

Catred4 · 29/05/2022 07:25

Omg @BanjoVio that is such a brilliant line!!! Congratulations! How many dpo are you? I reckon you can go straight to digital if you wanted to with that one

Thank you!! I honestly can’t believe it! No idea how many dpo because I’m so irregular, but currently cycle day 26. I’ve just ordered a pack of two digitals and will try to wait til day 28 to take it. Eeeeeek!!

Charl881 · 29/05/2022 07:27

@Summerbreeze111 i don’t think there’s anything from with a glass of wine in the TWW but I do think there is a lot wrong with wine and lemon soda πŸ˜‚

I’m trying to cut out booze in the TWW moving forward but that’s only because I’ve had two chemicals in a row now so don’t want to risk anything!
