TTC February 2023 babies 👶🏻 🥞🌨🌿☀️

@allthingssparkly after what happened to me this time round I'd say anything is possible, so i'd do a test!

I'm so confused ladies and don't know if I should take a pregnancy test or just accept it was just my period but a shorter than normal one 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Saturday afternoon I started light spotting on and off a couple of times, only there when wiping then Saturday late evening it turned into more of a flow so just presumed it was AF as it was pretty much around the time for it, maybe a day later than I expected but still.

So Sunday I had a flow and then yesterday I did in the morning up until around lunchtime then from that time till around 8pm is it was light spotting, again only when wiping. Its now the following day and there has been no bleeding or spotting overnight/this morning.

Normally my periods last at least 4 days, max 5 days and this one has been neither.

@Charl881 totally still in shock! I can't quite settle into it properly yet though, I could do with a scan for reassurance after the cramps and bleeding. But tests still positive and I did a CB digital this morning and it's gone up from 1-2 to 2-3 so good signs

I’m worried I’ve missed the boat this cycle, loads of EWCM today and boobs are sore so worried today is ovulation day and I’ve just missed it on the OPKs. Would be super early for me but after two chemicals guessing cycles are all over the place.

Not DTD at all so far this cycle so will do tonight and just hope that it’s not too late! My boobs being sore is usually my ovulation sign.

@MamaSJ15 thank you! I think I'll try and hold off calling until 6 weeks, I'm on holiday the following week then so hopefully distracted 😬

@allthingssparkly I'm guessing it wasn't a proper period but I've heard of a lot of ladies who have had period like bleeds during pregnancy. No, none that I can think of.

@Charl881 thank you, yes I'll keep a look out for that.

@personallyvictimisedbyreginageorge you can call for a midwife appointment at any time from now but they won't see you until about 8ish weeks usually. With my first I called as soon as I found out but that 4 weeks is a long wait 😂

When would you usually contact your GP/midwife? I'm 4+5 so is that too early? It's my first and no one else knows, so I haven't got a clue and no one to ask!

@MamaSJ15 fingers crossed the pain eases but defo go to A&E if it gets worse or if you get any shoulder pain.

Good that they’ll refer you to EPU, hopefully you’ll be able to get an early scan for peace of mind!

@MamaSJ15 I didnt honestly know that was a thing, to have a period as normal and test positive after but that is such wonderful news, did you have early pregnancy symptoms before your period?

I really hope everything goes well for you and rhe cramping eases, pregnancy can be such a worry! X

@allthingssparkly thank you, yes, period was practically normal. Lasted a couple of days longer than usual but the last couple of days were just light pink spotting and when I actually thought about it I didn't have any normal period cramps or anything.
I have been in touch with the docs today though cause I've had quite bad cramping pains overnight and today and mostly to one side so I've been concerned about it. She told me to test again later, if it's positive then call them in the morning and they can send me to early pregnancy unit for a scan or if the pain gets worse she said go to a&e.

Congratulations on your BFP @MamaSJ15 did you literally have a normal period and then test positive after that? X

@BiscuitLover3678 I was basically thinking of cutting down to pregnancy levels. DP won’t change anything because his view is we can clearly get pregnant, it’s the staying pregnant that’s the issue.

9/10dpo is still early to test so 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I'm 10 days dpo and did an early test today which was negative. still early but I think I feel normal again after a few days of exhaustion. going to wait and see if aw comes on Friday but I am doubtful. it is our first try so I didn't expect it anyway!
I am reducing caffeine, not sure if it makes a difference but figured I should get used to it! I usually drink 2 cups a day so going to 1 cup plus a decaf as I like my coffee break routine at 11am when working.

I think I'm 8dpo, couldn't help but test this morning even though I knew it was too soon and of course negative!
Been feeling off since Tues, quite nauseous and exhausted. I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much. I've had symptoms immediately the two times I've been pregnant (1 miscarriage prior to DD) but no sore boobs like I did last time so its hard not to draw comparisons!
I'm going to try hold off until Friday for testing now 🤞.

Another BFN this morning! Gona stop testing now and wait for AF to arrive! 🙄 x
